The pick up my trash each week. They are not always consistent on their time.

They are excellent. I would continue to use them as my service provider.

They are prompt and they do their job well. We will continue to use their services in the future.

They do a fine job. It's about $11 a month.

Ray's Trash Service comes to our home weekly for garbage collection. This company is superb! If they see you outside struggling with something they will get off the truck and help you. They are wonderful. They go above and beyond, they helped me this morning to clean up miscellaneous yard materials I was collecting for the trash. I do not have a choice of who I can use for garbage collection but they are great to work with.

I contacted Ray's to inquire about the possibility of adding curbside recycling to our residential service. In the past, I had been told that we were out of the area for this service. However, I had recently noticed the presence of Ray's recycling bins close (within a few miles) to our home on trash day so I called to inquire. On that initial call, the customer service rep did verify that we were outside of their standard service area. I explained the close proximity of the service to my home, and she kindly offered to check with dispatch and see if they might be able to add our home to the existing route nearby. I received a call back the next day and was told that they could add us to the route if we would like to sign up for the service. I was of course very excited about this and signed up right away. I was expecting my orange bin to be delivered the next route day and my service to start the following week. The following Wedesday, I did not receive my bin. So I called and was told that it was listed as having been delivered. So a second request was put in with very specific directions and a description of my home so that I would get my bin delivered correctly the following Wednesday. I was also instructed to leave my recyclables out in a cardboard box for pick up the following week. The following Wednesday came and went- and again no service. So I called again and was told that the driver must have missed us since we were new to the route. They did send someone the next day to pick up the box at the curb and drop off our bin. So the following week I filled my orange bin and put it out for pickup. And again, no pickup. So I called again was told that they just weren't used to our house being on the route and would send someone out to get it. So the next week, I put my recycling out for pickup again. Early that morning, someone from Ray's actually called me to follow up on the problems that I had been having. For a moment, I was impressed that they were being proactive about the problems I had been having since signing up for the service. She however, informed me that I wasn't in the service area and that she didn't understand why I was expecting service or how I got a bin. I explained the entire story to her again. She first stated that there had been a misunderstanding and that they thought I lived on CR 300 S not CR 300 N, so that was why I was signed up for the service. I explained to her that it wasn't the case, as they knew I was out of the area but that dispatch had looked at the route nearby and agreed to add our house to it. She then said that she would have to investigate further with dispatch and would call me back before the end of the day, but assured me that my recyclables would be picked up that day. My recyclables were picked up along with my orange bin- and no one ever called me back. I did receive my first bill in the mail the same day, ironically. So I called back to following day to try and resolve the issue once and for all. I spoke with the same woman who said that she thought I understood that they would be coming to pick up my bin and canceling my service due to being out of their service area. This was not at all what I had been told the day before by this same person. When I again challenged the issue with her, that dispatch had specifically looked at the routes and agreed to add our home, she had a new excuse. This time I was told that there was someone who worked in dispatch sometimes who had "a medical problem" who must have made this decision in error and that they would not offer me the service. So after being told that the driver wasn't used to the route, they didn't understand my address, and their employee had "medical problems" that caused them to make mistakes the end result was the same and they would not provide the service as previously stated. They were "kind" enough to remove the charge for the service from my account. This was a horrible experience. I am so disgusted with this service provider that I have canceled my existing trash service as well. We live in an area that is actually serviced by more than one trash company, so luckily I have other options. It would seem that Ray's really missed the boat on this one by letting down a long-time customer as well as missing an opportunity to offer a new service to this area that their competitor does not. It would seem that having a giant green trash toter and a bright orange recycling bin with their name and phone number on it would be good "free advertising" in an area with competition.

They always pickup and don't make a mess when they are picking up the trash. Also, they have always been polite and have been using them for the past 11 years.

They are very good. They are more reasonable than others. They come by weekly. They give senior citizens a discount which is a saving for people in that category. They are very punctual. They are good to do business with.

They will pick up ten containers a week as opposed to other companies that will only pick up two. I do not have to use the automated system.

It goes very well for garbage pickup but recycling it seems like they aren't doing their jobs, not using common sense nor do they truly care about recycling. If this service wasn't included in my property taxes I would drop their service. I even tried calling Ray's Trash Service and they assured me that they will talk to the people about doing this. I even contacted the City of Franklin to explain to them what happened and probably will do it again.

They were here when they said they would be. I was not hear for the pickup but I knew I would not have to worry about a thing while I was gone. The office staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and help you with anything you may need. All the drivers are professional in their work, knowledgeable and any questions you have can be answered. There are certain things by law they can not take but they will let you know upfront.

They are great. They don't ask you to wait around and be present when they do the pick up. They were very friendly on the phone as well. They were prompt and professional. I only had to call two days ahead of time to get the service lined up. They explained everything very clearly and the driver was very informative too.

They do most of the trash removal around Indianapolis. They had to go way out to bring it so there was a fee for bringing it out. You rent the dumpster then I think you get it free for 10 hours a day then after that you get it for $3 a day and I thought that was pretty reasonable. The lady I was talking to asked what I was doing and I told her remodeling. She told me to keep it for a month and they wouldn't charge me. So I just paid the transportation fee and delivery fee. The guys who brought it out were real nice and polite and picked it up when I was ready. They are one of the few who would go that far out. They came out the next day and picked it up when I was ready. I've used them before.

I was initially impressed with Ray's pricing and the fact that they provided weekly recycling pick-up. But once it came time to deliver on those services, it went horribly wrong. I have never been more disappointed in a company's service than I was with Ray's. They continually forgot to pick up our trash AND recycling. I had to call EVERY WEEK for 6 weeks to remind them. Each time I was told they had a new or different driver running the route that week. Then, they failed to bill us for two months and by the time I finally chased down a bill I was $50 in arears. So they cut off our service without telling us. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone for residential service. I have since switched back to our original trash provider.

I moved to Carmel from the Chicago area in July, 2007, and arranged for weekly trash pickup, and bi-weekly recycling, with Ray's. In March of 2010 I received a letter from our homeowners association saying something about trash removal. When I called them, I discovered that the trash is picked up by another company and paid for through the association dues. Did I feel like an idiot! I called Ray's and explained and they could not have been nicer. They said they would refund the full amount! And they did! I think that a company with that much integrity and commitment to doing the right thing deserves praise; it's the kind of company I would want to do business with. Should I move and be in a situation to contract for trash removal, Ray's is the first company I will call.

-Make sure you have cash or a check available. -We had more stuff in our basement that we wanted to get rid of but we didn't ask them to see if they would bring it up. It was too cumbersome for us. That would be a question to ask them.

picked up fine the first week. Delayed second week by big storm then skipped my house. Called for service. Trash picked up the next business day. Still waiting for bin although requested more than a week ago.

Everything went well. They were able to empty and replace a dumpster on Saturday afternoon when they weren't really open.

I would never have thought to report on garbage pickup, but these guys are really exceptional! They work all but 2 days per year, are always on time, have always taken everything we set out, and are very conscientious about setting our garbage cans back on our driveway neatly. We'd highly recommend them.

Threw the empty trash cans on my lawn. Will look for a new service.

I called to rent one of Ray's large trash cans on wheels which is heavy enough so it doesn't tip over or blow away in heavy winds. They delivered it within a couple days of the order. It's easy to roll to the curb and is large enough to hold the equivalent of at least 3 regular trash cans. The fee is paid on a yearly basis.

Very routine. They provide an excellent pickup service.

We have used several garbage services over 25 years in the same home, but Ray's has been the most reasonable and the most dependable. They pick up every holiday except for Christmas and New Year's. They place our trash cans back on the driveway, usually upside-down, and clean up if there are spills. I pay $39 for 3 months service and they added fuel surcharge over the last year. Hopefully as the gas prices go down the fuel surcharge will be adjusted.

They do a great job. They are prompt and the cost is for one year of service.

Our neighborhood has 3 choices for trash pick up, and we chose them soley on price...They were much cheaper than other companies. They are very dependable and I have been pleased with their service. There hasn't been an item they wouldn't take. I only wish they would provide recycling pick up each week, but that depends on the amount of people using the service in the neighborhood. They gave me a second recycling container at no charge.
