This company repaired all wall cracks in my basement and installed a drain system on all walls of my basement. This company showed up when they were suppose to and completed the work on my basement in a timely matter. I had to contact this company to come back out after the work was done but come to find out, the problem we experienced was not due to any of the work this company had previously done however they still repaired the problem without charging us anymore money. Would definitely recommend this company to others.

They found two cracks in my foundation. They were thorough in diagnosing the problem and kept me in the loop on the issues. This company truly exhibits the gold standard in customer service and professionalism.

His crew came back the next morning repaired the crack in less than two hours and cleaned up the area. The men were polite and professional.

We called C.KING Foundation & Construction to fix a leaking basement wall crack. Chris King explained the procedure, provided a quote and promptly set up an appointment. Gary arrived right on schedule to do the job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Gary left the area neat and clean and provided a lifetime warranty on the repair. We were very pleased with the experience from start to finish...a job well done.

They were very good. After this job I asked them to do other work too outside Angie's list. They are very good, reliable and professional. They stick to the plan.

My sump pump was running continuously without shutting off so I left a message for Mr. King on a Sunday evening and he not only contacted me the following Monday, he was also at my home by 11:30 a.m. that same day. He quickly determined that the float ball in my sump pump was stuck and taped it to a shorter length so it wouldn't keep getting caught. The best part - he didn't charge me a dime! Since I have absolutely no knowledge of sump pumps I am grateful to have found Mr. King. Professionalism, reliability and honesty all rolled into one - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He is definitely at the top of my list for any future sump pump or waterproofing needs. CK Construction is SIMPLY THE BEST!

They were doing a cracked repair. They repaired it on the inside and then charged me 60.00 for the outside. When it rained my basement flooded again. The job on the outside ended up cracking again and I was not satisfied with the work that was provided.

I originally purchased a deal to check the sump pump, over a year ago. There was a miscommunication between the contractor and I in setting up an appointment. When he saw I had written a review stating he had not contacted me, he immediately called. We set up a time and he replaced my sump pump at cost. I was very impressed that Chris, not only admitted his error and apologized. He rectified the situation, by not charging me for his time. I will use him again without a doubt!

The service went really well. We had no problems, he came out, and did the job. I had purchased the big deal for $49, and they stayed within the price. They are very punctual. They did a good job, and they gave us recommendations to stuff we could do on the house. They were professional.

We had a miscommunication at first which delayed the work a bit but once we got on the same page, everything went smoothly. Chris and his partner are hard workers...very professional, efficient and diligent. They dug down on the exterior wall then sealed it with tar and a plastic moisture barrier. On the inside, Chris scraped out loose mortar, sealed with a commercial grade thermoseal, sealed air leaks and cleaned up afterwards. We've had several hard rains since the work was done and I have had no seepage.

The big deal was $49 for sump pump inspection, and they were awesome. They complimented us on the product we had purchased years ago, and that it was perfect and running fine. They made a couple of suggestions for a back up in the future, which we elected not to do at this time. They were very good, and we had no problems. We did not spend any more than the $49 of the big deal.

They installed a 20' drain system, installed 5 iron I-beams, repaired and replaced the brick on half of the Michigan wall, regarded the back side corner of the house to allow better drainage away from basement, replaced back sidewalk to angle water away from basement. We are very pleased.

I thought I would need a new battery because the system kept alarming. I had to disconnect the backup system until I could have it checked out. When CK Construction checked the system they found the sump pump had shifted and the bulb was stuck. He fixed the problem and readjusted the pump so it wouldn't interfere with the backup pump. Then he reattached the backup system. I appreciate CK Construction's prompt and professional service and would consider using them again.

CKConstruction was very easy to work with. Chris promptly returned messages. They did not have a battery back-up that would fit and a correct one was ordered and replaced within a short time! I had been looking for someone to take care of this problem for months! So....I was very pleased with this Big Deal, keep them coming!

Chris King was extremely professional on the phone when I called him about two potential foundation issues within my home. He took the time to explain different potential foundation issues and the methods that he uses to fix them. When I told him I needed an appointment as soon as possible he took time to work my service call into his schedule, between other appointments. He arrived on time and inspected my foundation problem areas and educated me about the types of indicators that evidence whether water is actually intruding into the home. Fortunately, my probably was not grave but he did proceed with filling/sealing the crack. The best thing about Chris and C.King Foundation & Construction was not only his professionalism , knowledge and timeliness but that he also guarantees his work.

The owner, Chris, met with us promptly as scheduled, did an inspection and developed a plan for all of the repairs. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We will be scheduling the work soon and I'll give an update when it's finished.

The contractor was very easy to work with. They were very responsive when we had follow-up questions. Some contractors don't take the time to help after the job is complete, they DO NOT forget their customers. We had a tight schedule do to furniture being delivered and they worked around it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing waterproofing done in a basement.

I had used Chris several times before and had him give me an estimate on repairing an area of concrete that had chipped away, exposing the gravel and dirt underneath. I wasn't sure if it could be repaired and didn't want to have to cut away a large area of the garage slab. Chris looked at it and said he could repair it for $600. I thought that was great and gave him the go ahead. He finished the work and it looked good. I could tell where the patch was simply because the old concrete was impossible to match, but it was a neat job and looked much better and my garage door could seal against the ground again, keeping water out.

I wanted to finish a basement on a house which had some cracks that were leaking during a heavy rain. I got bids from the major basement waterproofing companies in town and they all wanted to install a waterproofing system which involved jacking up the floor around the perimeter of the basement slab, installing piping to the sump pump to get any water that might seep into the basement and sealing the cracks. They were all in the $4k-$6k range. I just assumed this was the only option until I spoke with Chris. When he was there I told him the other bids were out of my budget. He said that instead of installing a complete waterproofing system, he could just seal all the cracks and install panels to have any incidental water run under the slab. He said it would eventually work its way over to the sump pump anyway without installing the entire system. I liked this idea much better. He sealed and waterproofed all the cracks in one day, patched the concrete and cleaned up nicely. The cracks did not leak anymore even after several heavy rains. He included a lifetime transferrable warranty on all the cracks he waterproofed. He also sealed some other cracks that could not be waterproofed because of the direction they were in at no extra charge although he couldn't include them in the warranty. They also did not leak. After this experience, I've used Chris several times for basement waterproofing and concrete repair on other houses. He always does a professional job at a reasonable price.

Chris King aka CK Construction, aka C King Construction is a disaster waiting to happen and it happened at my house. We had a two story home and a separate 2 story garage. He took off both the roof of our home and garage against my express wishes to do one building at a time. Then while the roofs were roofless and untarped he left to start a job in another state without telling us. Then it rained. We had water running from the roof through the walls from the second floor to the first floor. They came back and tarped it in the middle of the night.and covered up our gas furnace vent. We could of died. Luckily our furnace shut off worked and we woke up cold the next morning. The furnace repair man was called the next morning and new immediately what was wrong. He broke things in my yard and threw the shingles on my extensive landscaping, roses and bushes with no regard. I was outside pulling them off when I realized. He bent up my gutters with his ladders. We asked him to use our ladder which has the arms at the top to put the weight on the roof and not the shingles. He did not comply. Gutters were bent up terribly. His work was irresponsible and poor. Ridge vent was not installed properly. The shingles were lifting off the the ridge vent with days. They did not cut the ridge vent wide enough. There is no ventilation. Water condenses in our attic and we have mold now. Shingles on the rest of the roof started coming off within weeks of him leaving. We would find them laying in the yard. We have been told by a home inspector and the new roofer we just got a quote from to fix this mess that the shingles were trimmed to the inside of the drip edge and no overhang was left. Which means water is getting in the sides of the roof at the drip edge. Estetically the roof was not installed per the directions of Owens Corning. The dimensional shingles are to be off centered every row to give a certain look to the roof. Chris King did not do this. My husband questioned him early on about this but he would not change the way he was doing it. The shingles at the drip edge are not trimmed straight and as my husband says "looks as if he trimmed them with a chainsaw." We have just saved up enough money to have the ridge vent recut and re-shingled. And for the sides of the roof to be fixed. Do yourself a favor and do not let this man do any work for you or your family.
