+ -1 moreVic Roberts is the ultimate professional. The quality of his work and his attention to detail are second to none. He worked off a set of blue prints, made recommendations and the deck is spectacular! Our home is on a corner lot and numerous people have stopped by to look at it and inquire who the contractor was. We would not hesitate to recommend Vic for any building project.

+ 0 moreAs described above, the process was smooth from start to finish. I was traveling for work during the building process and Vic was very responsive and cooperative in working with my non-standard schedule. The quality of work was excellent and 8 years later, the maintenance needs are negligible - inside and outside the house. As I have had questions on improvements such as finishing the back porch, Vic is always willing to provide suggestions and recommend service providers. This is a testament to his knowledge, experience and industry longevity.
Description of Work: Vic Roberts built our current home. We evaluated 6 local builders, and after performing a thorough analysis, Vic rose to the top of the list. Analysis criteria included: - Professional Experience - Number of homes built and years of service. - Home Design - Willingness to evaluate our initial design and point us in the right direction to find professional designs in absence of hiring an architect. - Sight Location - Vic worked with us in evaluating multiple plats in various locations to determine the land/ home were the right fit. - Financing - He guided us through the financing process and expectations from a builder's perspective so that we fully understood our cash flows. - Building Process - Vic walked us through a high level project plan as to the building timeline so that we could make design decisions in a timely manner (fixtures, appliances, etc. - Materials - Vic provided great insight on the cost benefit tradeoff of materials which continue to have positive impacts to the needs of maintenance and replacement. - Periodic checkpoints - While construction was underway, we performed reviews in order to collaboratively address discrepancies in understanding. - Closing - Our home passed inspection without issue. - Post Closing Punch List - Upon moving in, as expected, there were a few items which weren't in line with expectations. Vic worked promptly to address these needs. - For the sale of our existing home, we needed to add a porch railing. Vic speced the work and had a crew complete it in a very timely manner, allowing us to transition from the old home to the new home in a seamless manner.
