Royko Concrete

We had an existing asphalt driveway that was laid with an inproper slant which resulted in pooling of water whenever it rained. Upon consultation with Frank Royko, Owner / Operator of ROYKO CONCRETE, who had recently been sub-contracted by another company to pour a pad for a new garage we were having added to our existing house. The pad was excellent, and I contracted with Frank to redoe our existing very large driveway (Pic attached). Frank took the time to explain what he was able to do to eliminate the pooling as well as even our our existing driveway, and perform what I believe to be a significant improvement to our residene. I may add one comment, Frank also took the time to meet with us at another customers residence who allowed his work to be seen. The residence had an even longer driveway than we did, and his work was noted to be exceptional. His work is nothing but excellent. Frank and his crew arrived when stated, and worked diligently until all aspects of the pour were to his satisfaction. The work took a week and a half which given the existing deiveway was over 147 feet long and at least 19 feet wide. This doesn't include the addition for the driveout for our newly constructed garage, I thought the timeing was great. We also asked Frank to lay drain pipes so that we could divert pooling water, which he obligingly did as well as consulted with another contractor who would do excavating after the driveway was finished. Frank also raised our existing sidewalk to flow into our newly constructed driveway, which also was done to perfection. Frank and his crew were polite, respectful of our property and although I did not think my sprinkler system had a chance of survival, to the best of my knowledge, he was able to do his job, finish the work and my sprinkler system still works as before. I highly recommend Frank to anyone who wants good flat work by someone who I now know to be a true professional. During the whole job, my wife took pictures of the whole process, and I was pleased to see the progress that ensued on a daily basis. Frank was always available to answer questions (I was out of town at th time of the job) to my wife and never avoided giving straight understandible answers as to what he was doing. After the job was completed, I have received numerous compliments from my neighbors, one of whom is going to contract Frank to do the same to his residence in the future. I can't comment enough on how happy we are with the job performed and highly recommend Royko Concrete to anyone who wants a fair, good old fashioned hard working contractor who knows what he is doing to get your job done.
