Solid Surface Solutions

We originally contacted Southern Kitchens for replacement of our old laminate countertops. Once a type, color, and pattern were decided upon,we were put in touch with John and Trip at Solid Surface Solutions for the installation procedure, since they work exclusively with Cambria. Trip came to our home and obtained exacting measurments for the Cambria countertops which included some complicated solutions for various aspects of the space around our drop-in Jenn-air range. The template was then sent to Cambria near indianapolis where the new countertops were manufactured. Once the new countertops and backsplashes were made and retrieved by John and Trip, an appointment was made for installation. They arrived punctually at 7:30 AM and first removed the old countertop, being extremely careful with existing drawers and cabinetry, as well as, cleaning up after themselves. They are both very personable fellows and talked freely about what they were doing and answered any questions we asked. A great deal of time was spent in ensuring that the Cambria countertops were leveled and fitted to their exacting tolerances. Because of the need to be exact, the backsplashes had to be measured and ordered after the countertops were installed. This took about an additional week to manufacture and complete. The final result is amazing. These guys are really good at their craft. They are extremely knowledgable, professional, and meticulous with the whole countertop replacement procedure. We wanted to get the countertops installed before the Kentucky Derby on May 5th as we had out-of-town guests arriving and they accomodated our wishes by geting everything installed by May 4th. We could not be more happy with the services they provided
