I had hoped that Richard (as he told me he liked to be called) and I would have been able to complete our transaction without incident. However, he "hired" a man to do the painting job on the doors and drawers. The man did a job that was just above the acceptable line. There was a lot of paint left on door hinges that should never have occurred. Reputable companies remover all hardware before doing any painting. Also, some extra paint was left on the edges that prevent doors from properly closing. There were also some ugly smears left on white walls that detect from the appearance of the kitchen. The smears were apparently caused by sloppy stain removal. (Having worked in this industry I feel more than qualified to evaluate the work). Additionally, the man whom Richard hired went into my computer room at the opposite end of my house (where he had no business being), took a blank check from my checkbook, and filled it out and cashed it for $350.00!! Richard had told me specifically that he was bonded. My bank refused to cover the loss because it was not detected in time. (Jeffersonville Police Detective Sam Moss has the case). And finally, it was determined that I had been overcharged by $150.00. Richard indicated, verbally, that he would make good on the difference. To date, this has not been done. It should noted that I was prepared to give Richard a second chance and do another much higher priced job for me, had he only reimbursed me the money owed. I would be more than happy to discuss this case with anyone.

rich always showed up early and worked the entire day. he took great care to prep the areas to be paint. he was very professional and always polite. cleaned up every day after he was finished. rich did an excellent job.

Richard did a fine job painting. He is very neat and precise. The job did take longer than expected. And due to some wall surface issues causing a 3rd coat of paint to be needed, cost more than originally estimated.
