Paul Isom is my regular plumber but he was unavailable when I needed him for the above jobs. So instead I called a couple of local "handymen" to do the work. (These two were recommended by neighbors, who were relatives of theirs.) I showed them the 3 problem areas, but had them start with replacing the barn water hydrant. It took these two ALL day - from 10:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon. They told me at 4:00 they weren't finished YET, and would be back in the morning - and "hoped it would be alright to leave my water turned off in the barn until then." I told them they couldn't go, I needed the water turned on in my barn for my horses! (I have a working horse farm.) They did stay to finish, but left before I could inspect the job. It was AWFUL! The NEW low quality hydrant was only 18inches off the ground and I couldn't even get a bucket under the spicket - but the WORST was that every time I turned it on, water would bubble up from the ground and the whole area would flood! To top it off they told me they wanted $250 for this job!!! I called Paul Isom the next morning (after I fired these two) and told him my predicament and the mess these two "handymen" had made. He knew I was upset and came out immediately. He dug out the hole & laid gravel (as it was supposed to have been done) AND replaced the cheap hydrant with a high quality Iowa hydrant (in about 1-1/2 hr.). He also came into the house and fixed the plumbing. This required him cutting the drywall and soldering the pipes for the leak, as well as replacing washers and tightening the bathtub plumbing. He was finished with ALL 3 problems in about 3 hours! I HIGHLY recommend Paul Isom. He was very professional, efficient, but most of all he did the job correctly! Knowing that I had all the problems the day before, he also discounted the jobs - a VERY NICE thing to do! Everything he worked on works perfectly now!

HE DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY ANY EXTRA PIECES. AGAIN I THINK THAT HE DID A GOOD JOB. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE HE GAVE ME ON THIS JOB WAS PRETTY CHEAP.

HE DID A GOOD JOB AND THE WORK WAS NOT EXPENSIVE. HE WAS PROMPT. I CALLED HIM IN THE MORNING AND LEFT VOICEMAILS FOR HIM AND HE CAME AS SOON AS HE GOT THE MESSAGES.
