New home owner in Griffith Ind area. Contacted Jim. Jim responded right away and scheduled an appointment for estimate. Upon first meeting Jim he was respectful and genuine in his approach to our project. His work and advise we're excellent and he proved to be a great resource for other projects that we had done. We would recommend him to friends and family.

In the world of business, where sometimes personal touch and caring can get lost, Jim fills the gap. He is lovely to deal with. He is a business man along with being able to connect to his customers needs in a very caring way. In essence, my experience is he is more about establishing a relationship then he is about "closing the deal." For me, that is important. When we are ready for more carpet, we will go to Jim.

paid for my backsplash to be put in in AUGUST 2017, one of Jim's guys came by to actually do the job in NOVEMBER 2017 and the job looks bad. The grout lines do NOT match, the grout lines were never fully filled in, they broke off pieces of my tile and STILL put the broken tile on my wall (how professional) and then left an absolute mess in my garage. It is now the middle of January and I still have yet to hear from Jim to redo this project-which he promised he would. Have never gotten a phone call or a text back to set up a date to redo this shitty job. Did I mention the worker Jim sent was talking on his cell phone the ENTIRE 8 hours they were here? maybe that's why none of these grout lines match up. Here's what's REALLY unprofessional--don't tell your customers you "really care about fixing the situation", but then you don't ever call to schedule something. If "fixing this situation" was actually important to this joke of a company then he would've fixed this situation RIGHT AWAY...and yet here we are, months after being paid and it still looks like bad.

Install and refinish wood floor: Jim Swan's installed unfinished oak in the office and in the upstairs hallway and refinished a badly damaged foyer and kitchen oak that adjoins the new oak. The finished color is excellent--no more yellow oak on the old floor and all wood blends perfectly. Jordan is an expert. He and Ian were diligent in making sure everything was done well. The customer service provided by Jim and his team was excellent. We plan to have them return next year to replace the carpet with wood in two more rooms.

Very easy to deal with

Jim was always available to speak to and in contact with us during the whole process. The crew was respectful, always on time and kept the work area clean. We love our backsplash! Would definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

This contractor was pleasant to work with, arrived on-time, and flexible to on-going adjustmenrts for this project. Many times suggesting changes which enhanced the final outcome for our complete satisfaction. Great job!

Jim and his crew were on time and very pleasant. His professional crew cleaned the worksite prior to leaving each day during the flooring installation. The product they used will wear well and is the perfect fit for a basement.

He is very reliable gave me a very good price to replace carpet to a oak stair case. My stairs are complicated and his carpenter Jordan is very pleasant an excellent work ethic works to get perfection. We would hire them again if needed !
