Description of Work: I called AAA Sealcoating and Asphalt Maintenance twice and left messages with a call back number and received no reply. Then I tried emailing him and rec'd one return e-mail stating we were out of his territory but he had others that needed blacktop sealing in our area and he would get back to us. I did not receive a follow-up e-mail or phone call from him about a schedule date and it is getting really cold outside. (In my part of the country, black top sealing is done by end of October) I e-mailed him again and asked him to give me a date to do the work or give me a refund. This was over a week ago and I still have not heard anything by e-mail or phone. I left another message today via phone. Ironically, I received multiple offers to seal my drive-way for the same price from other walk-up vendors that do the job and get paid on the same day. He was prompt and explained what he was doing and how to take care of it; the workers just did their work. Their pricing was reasonable; the quality of the sealcoating was good and he sealed all my cracks, too.

 + -1 moreSent Jeff an email and at first I thought he didn't reply. Waited several days. Since I was trying to surprise my husband, I couldn't make or receive phone calls as usual. Finally, I looked in my junk mail and discovered that Jeff had replied the same day I sent my email. I called him when I was ready, set up a time and day and since he was familiar with my subdivision, an estimate. He showed up on time and before I knew it, the job was done. He even knocked off a few more dollars, even though I didn't qualify for the senior discount. Would recommend him to others and would use again.
Description of Work: Driveway was edged on grass side. All weeds were removed. Cracks were filled and then sealcoated. Job was done quickly. I wanted to surprise my husband. He was extremely happy with the job.

It was. I emailed and called again and finally heard back from the owner through email. I called him again and gave my information, address, and phone number. It was over a week before I heard from him again. I requested an estimate and he promised to send someone out. No one came. he then said he'd send someone out over the weekend of September 1. Again, no one came. I called again and he promised to send someone out . After about 2 weeks, I called again and the owner came out. He did not leave an estimate, but left a card that said "call me". I called again for the estimate and left a message. He called me back and said to call him back. My first contact with the company was 8/14/12. Today, 9/18/12, I still don't have an estimate.

Description of Work: Large driveway was in bad condition with many cracks and weeds embedded and surrounding the surface. All weeds were removed and cracks sealed. Then blacktop was applied with precision so there were no runoffs or errors at the edges.

After spreading the seal coating, he taped off the entrance to the driveway. The driveway looks terrific. I wish my experience with other contractors was always so good. Jeff is a model for professionalism and work excellence. I strongly recommend his services.

Description of Work: Jeff seal coated our driveway. He worked some kind of magic and made a driveway which looked as if it not been seal coasted since it was originally poured (the 60's) look as close to new as possible. The driveway is a large circular one, so don't be put off by the price. He did an amazing job, took his time and offered to come back and re do it if rained before it completely dried and became discolored. Now how is that for service?

 + -1 moreJeff called to set up an appointment & give me an estimate. On the day of the appointment he called to let me know he was on his way. When he got here, he prepped the driveway & masked off the porch so sealer would not touch it. He was very friendly & professional & we talked the whole time he was doing the driveway. It didn't bother him that I was watching him the whole time. When he was done he cleaned up & was on his way. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

He said he would be here between 12 and 3 on Sunday and was early and called ahead! He did the job all by himself and did a beautiful job.  + -1 moreCurrently we are selling our old home to move in to the new one. As part of the getting ready to sell process we needed the driveway done. A few years ago we had a company come out (that is not on angies list) and the process was much more dificult. Getting a hold of AAA sealcoating was much less involved. He called us up, made an appointment to check out our driveway and showed up on time. We talked price and his prices were on par with everyone else if not a tad cheaper. We took a few days to make up our minds and when we called this company a date was scheduled for the work to be performed. Mr. Sullivan was clean and most importantly he was on time. He weed whipped the sides of the driveway and then blew off all the leaves. He did this multiple times as he went down our driveway. He taped off areas that needed to be like a painter would, and did a fantastic job. Once the job was completed he roped off our driveway with neon tape.
Description of Work: Old driveway needed to be seal coated and made to look new for selling of our home.

 + -1 moreMy uncle and I were unsure at first because the last crew used spray tubes/sticks. But once, they started putting tape with newspaper on the garage and sidewalk(concrete) we knew this company took pride in their work. The last company didn't tape a thing and got that black tar/sealer on the garage. It took them about a hour or two to clean the driveway with their grass edgers, brushes, air blowers. It took them about 30mins to 45mins to apply the tar/sealer and they put up caution line at the end of the drive-way which the other company never did. My uncle really liked that they put tape at the end of the driveway, when they where done they pulled up the tape and it was a straight line. It made the house/driveway right from the curb look straight and squared away! These young men worked fast and did a great job for the price! We tried calling them back but the phone number they gave us was no longer in service. My uncle who owns the property actually called but I happen to find them on Angie's list. I thought a report should be in order since they did an excellent job.
Description of Work: They power air blown and brushed driveway clean of debris; taped edge of tin on the garage and sidewalk for protection against tar/sealer(something the other company never did); and applied tar/sealer.
