Window film is typically tinted and applied professionally to the glass surface of windows to promote personal and property protection. Beyond its protective qualities, window films also come in many shades and colors to provide aesthetic enhancements, as well. Using window film in your home or commercial building helps to protect you and your property from the damaging effects of the sun. Over time, the sun’s heat and harmful UV rays contribute to the fading of interior furnishings, fabrics, artwork and flooring and can cause uneven or very warm temperatures within a building. The sun can also damage your skin, and its glare can cause eyestrain. What’s more, window film can hold shards of broken glass together in the event of an accident, vandalism, or break-in.

Ryan and his staff did a great job in helping us select the proper tint for our house based upon our overall needs. He and his partner were very professional and punctual. We are extremely pleased with the end result.

The owner, Ryan came himself to give me an estimate and quoted me quickly. They did it quickly and efficiently and I was very impressed with them from the beginning. If the owner is this directly involved it says a lot about a company. I asked that he himself come to do the application and he did it. I was very pleased.

I actually saw Ryan's truck when he was filling up at a VP in Fishers. He had an Angie's List logo on his truck, so I asked him if he could give us an estimate. He said he'd be by the next morning. He showed up early, and estimated the work. He has excellent professionalism. He shared with us a great warranty program (the tinting company will mirror the window companies warranty for a small fee). We contracted with him, and the work was performed on time and as promised. He worked well around our 20 month old daughter and left things clean when he was done. I have yet to call him for any service/warranty issues, but we expect he'll be as professional as he was from the start.
Description of Work: He tinted the entire south-facing side of our two story home; 26 window panes (two of them picture windows).

Solar Tinting is a very professional organization. Prior to the installation we were educated on the different types of tinting & what would be recommended for our application. We scheduled the installation & he arrived on time. Ryan explained the installation process & provided feedback during the installation process. He found a problem with one of our windows & reported it promptly. We are happy with the installation & are pleased with the results. We would recommend Solar Tinting to anyone who asked.
Description of Work: Installed solar tinting in a 12 x 16 sunroom. We also received a quote for blinds which we will do at a later time.

I have been extremely pleased with all of the work that Ryan has completed for me- both commercial & residential. He is very helpful with his recommendations on the best product for your needs & you don't feel like he is trying to sell you something that you may not need/want. He is very friendly & would go out of his way to provide great customer service. Very punctual & cleans up after himself. I would highly recommend him for any work- both residential & commercial- & would work with him again.
Description of Work: I had Solar Tinting complete window tinting on a 45,000 square foot commercial office/warehouse building. There was such an enormous change in the appearance of the building once the tinting was put on the windows- we had privacy & an attractive appearance all in one. In addition to the window tinting, I also had privacy shades installed in our office area to provide maximum privacy. The shades are not only attractive, but functional as well. In addition to that work, I also had window tinting done at my home which I have been extremely pleased with as well. I have already noticed a dramatic difference in the amount of heat not coming into my home any more from the sun, which was also fading my furniture since the entire back of my home faces west & is subject to harsh sun all afternoon & evening.

He was excellent, he really tried to do a good job and he really did a good job. He helped select the fabric for the blinds. Although he made a wrong guesstimate on the fabric he offered pay for the difference of the fabric. I told him that was not needed because we were going to end up with the blinds anyway. He was being very fair. He was very conscience of his work. I would really recommend him to others that need this service because he is very knowledgeable and conscientious.
Description of Work: He solar tinted on all the windows on the backside of my house and the solar blinds on the sun porch and solar tinting on the sun porch windows.

Ryan was not only on time, but was actually early for his appointment to install our solarization. He was very polite, personable and professional. He didn't waste any time, but got right to work. He also didn't mind moving my big sofa out of the way. His price was right in line with what I expected. I would definitely call him again for other windows. I felt he was trustworthy.

I contacted Ryan Nordman the beginning of the week. He came to the house the next day and show us all the samples and answered all of our questions. He returned 2 days later and completed the contract with no muss or fuss. It was wonderful. Because the application of the tinting would nullify the original window warranty, the tinting company, for a small fee, replaced the window warranty for the same amount of time.
Description of Work: We have a very large set of windows in our living room on the south side of the house. We didn't want to cover them with window treatments, but were concerned about furniture, etc. fading. We contracted to have the living room, nook and hearth room windows tinted to preserve the furniture, rugs and floors and also to cut down on the heat from the sun.

Solar Tinting was one of the only companies returning my call for information. When providing an estimate Ryan had samples of film with him so I could see the difference. After the tint was installed, a window cracked (not the fault of Solar Tinting) and after replacing the window, Ryan retinted the window at no charge in accordance with the warranty.
