With Mr. Vallierres's advice I called in the right people and solved the problem in a short time with the lowest cost possible. He could have charged me a big amount of fee but instead he asked a small amount considering how big his help was.

After the big rains the week of July 6th, a room in our basement had water in it and we could not locate the source. There was no evidence of problems in the adjoining bathroom or the water heater in a nearby location. Water just appeared. We contacted Vallieres Waterproofing on Friday the 10th and they said they would call back the following Wednesday or Thursday to set something up. On Monday the 13th, Scott called and said he had time and could come out early and take a look at the problem. He was extremely professional and was there at the specified time. We discussed the problem as he looked at the foundation and water sources that could be causing the problem. He then went to the basement and was able to look behind the wall due to an opening near the ceiling. He sited the source as either being water seeping in by the incoming water line or by the sewer line. After asking permission to remove the drywall, he opened up an area to get a better look at the two areas. The outside hose was turned on; positioned near the suspect wall that was leaking. After less than 5 minutes water came pouring in near the sewer line. Scott explained how basement walls are formed with a plastic sleeve to hold the sewer pipes that head out to the street. The concrete that was compacted around the sleeve to prevent ground water from seeping in was compromised and the source was found. I was so impressed that he could locate the leak and his knowledge about where to even begin. As I mentioned, it was certainly not obvious what was going on. So Scott asked if I had time and he could stay and fix the problem. He removed the old concrete around the sleeve and compacted new concrete and then added a large epoxy type material to seal the leak even further. He was very kind in explaining what he has doing throughout the entire process. I so appreciated his professionalism with regard to my time and asking if he could open up the drywall, if he could stay and fix the problem versus having to make a return trip etc. I would definitely use Scott and Vallieres Waterproofing Systems again. I spoke with Scott earlier today. After listening to my flooding issue he was up front and told me that he likely could not help. He provided me with the contact information for another service. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to have the issue repaired from folks who didn't really seem to have an answer. It was refreshing that Scott was up front. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation. I applaud his business ethics.

Scott was fantastic. He was prompt in coming out to look at our issue. He was prompt in getting the estimate to us, and just as prompt in starting the work. In addition to going above and beyond the estimated scope-of-work estimated, Scott was fantastic with our very curious young kids. Scott humored our son who loves to dig, and let him help do the excavation and back-filling. My 3.5 yr old son's response to all of this was, " Scott is my best, best friend." We truly felt like we were in good, experienced hands with Scott. The quality of his work is obvious, and a very good value at that. As a single Christian woman, I just can't say enough about Scott. This man worked on my house as if I were his own single mother. His word is the truth! I had water leaking into my basement where the pipes from my heat pump enter and exit the mechanical room wall. The leak had progressed to the point where a steady stream of water flowed down the wall and across the floor to my sump pump. I called Scott Vallieres after reading excellent reviews on Angie's List. He met me at my house the same morning that I called, right after he finished another job in the area. He quoted me $600 to fix it. He returned the following week and completed the work and charged me $400 which was quite a bit less than his quote.. He said if I continued to have any moisture issues to just call him and he would return to fix it. I wanted to write this review earlier but yesterday was the first time we had a real soaking rain of several inches. My basement is bone dry where he sealed the leaks! I couldn't be more happy with the job Scott provided. If you have a waterproofing job that needs to be done, do yourself a favor and call Vallieres!

We discovered a crack in our basement wall. We called Scott Vallieres and he was out the next day to take care of the job for us. His price was reasonable and we really appreciated the fast service since our house was on the market to sell.

A leak started around our basement sewer pipe, where the pipe goes through the concrete wall. We called Scott, as we had previously used him for other basement work. Scott packed and sealed the area around the sewer pipe. Not quite 2 years later, when it rained it leaked a little more in the same spot. We called Scott back and he came out to take a look. He ended up chiseling out the original patch, repacked the area, and resealed around the pipe. A minor leak started at that same spot about year after that. Scott came back out and decided to attack the problem from the outside...thinking that there might possibly be a hairline crack in the concrete. He dug up nearly 3 feet of ground outside the house to get to the pipe, then sealed the area with hydraulic cement, membrane, and black patch, around the sewer pipe entry. Scott's thought was that it was a problem on the outside, since he felt he had packed/patched it well on the inside. He thought the builders probably didn't patch it very well when they built the house. Once Scott was finished with the patching, he put back everything beautifully. No problems with the landscaping or grass. I appreciate such attention to detail and respect for my property. I feel the job was done thoroughly and professionally. This is not the first time we had called Scott. He had injected two other poured basement cracks that had developed small leaks. We've been leak free in those cracks for 12 years now. Scott stayed on the leak and even honored the warranty after it ran out...and at no cost to us. Scott cherishes his reputation, and I hope other customers would give Scott a call when they have a basement leak.

Scott came to the house to determine our needs. He explained in detail what was to be done for the situation he found. He gave an estimate for the job. He took his time to do a repair that would last and left the area as he had found it. All this was accomplished to our satisfaction and was completed within the given estimate. He was careful not to leave us vulnerable to any further water damage during the repair process. I would definitely recommend Vallieres Waterproofing to a friend. The visit went extremely well. Scott and Jordan carefully evaluated the situation and found my problem was actually a leak in the kitchen sink. Took almost an hour to review every possibility. Being clueless about such issues I could(and would have paid) for a suggested repair. His through review found the problem. Excellent professional manner and customer service. While I hope to not need his services, I would not hesitate to use his firm.

Very good job. This is the second home that Scott has helped us with. He's very friendly and wiling to take the time to be sure your problem is fixed. He also took the time to write up a details description of the problem and the work he did to correct to help us with a non-disclosure situation. Great guy!

Scott is the only man in town who can perform this type of waterproofing. He is very professional and meticulous.

I found Vallieres through Angies List. Scott came to my home and was right on time. I showed Scott where I thought I could see a problem. He examined the area and performed a water test to check for leaks. After the test proved that the area wasn't a problem he explained it may never be a problem. I was fully prepared to pay for a repair on the basement but Scott is an honest person and chose to speak the truth and save me a great deal of money. I truly appreciate Scott and his professionalism.

We loved the quick response we got, but Scott's professionalism and quality of work was even better. He took extra time to show us the problem and explain how he was going to fix it for good. He arrived on time, and work was completed within two hours. He left the work area completely spotless- like we never had a problem. He even left us with tips for painting over the new seal material. That turned out great. We had a small leak in our basement wall. Scott has a process where he injects filler of some sort that goes into the wall and expands. It then stopped the leak and it took less than an hour. I would give him all A's.

We were so pleased to have Scott perform this work for us. He was so friendly and professional. He spent a great deal of time assessing our issue and informing us about it. He also took time to explain in greater detail about the drainage of our entire house and basement. We were able to localize our leak to one area and feel good that everything else was functoning as it should. He didn't try to sell us services we didn't need or alarm us unnecessarily - but addressed just the area of concern appropriately. It is refreshing to find someone as honest and professional as Scott. We feel he addressed our issue spot on and fixed it very reasonably. When Scott Vallieres first came, he removed a small section of drywall from our basement wall and quickly discovered a large crack in our poured concrete wall. With the crack exposed, we could see water entering the basement through the crack. Scott explained the situation, proposed a solution, and provided a reasonable estimate for the work. The next day Scott returned and sealed the crack. We had hoped that this would solve our problem, but with the next heavy rains, we again had some water in the basement, but to a much lesser extent we previously experienced. We called Scott, and he came back the next day. He tested the area for leaks, and determined that with the crack now sealed, water now entered the basement under the sill of a large window. Again, Scott described the situation, proposed a method to resolve the problem, and provided a reasonable estimate for the repair. This repair required the removal of exterior brick around the window, two applications a water-proofing sealant, and then installation of a fire/ice barrier. The work was completed over the next week, and when it was completed, Scott returned and tested the area for leaks. Even with the heavy rains we've experienced this week, our basement has remained dry. I commend Scott Vallieres for his knowledge, professionallism, and prompt work in repairing our basement. I would recommend Scott Vallieres to others who experiencing water-proofing problems.

Scott Vallieres, the owner, responded to my call on a wet Basement. Spent 40 min. and showed me where my water problem was. He would not take any money for the visit. He did not do the work that was needed, but recommended somebody for the job. Unbelievable....came immediately, was very nice and thorough, and told me exactly what I needed to do. I cant say enough good about this man and his Company.

Mr. Vallieres arrived on time. He explained what services he would perform, its likelihood of success and any and all reservations in the process. All of my questions were answered fully. Work was performed in a timely manner and all trash was completely removed. I could not ask for a more professional job.

Prior to moving into our new home the basement wall had water coming out of crack that had developed. The builder stated cracks in solid concrete basement walls would develop. One did. But as a result of rain on the 'polar vortex' frozen soil water began to flow out of the crack. I called to leave a message around midnight, and the next morning Scott arrived. He explained the process, requirements, the results, and the price. One could not get faster service. The results were great at a very good cost.
