Scott excavated dirt to below the lentil of the existing wall, and installed a commercial rubberized waterproofing membrane to the concrete foundation. After this cured, he installed a fire/ice shield to the surface and, a few days later, backfilled the area. Finally, he installed a drainpipe extension to the downspout to divert rainwater away from the affected area. Scott made several trips to complete the work, step by step. His attention to detail was impressive, and his professionalism unmatched.

I called on Friday afternoon and Scott came out on Sunday night. It took him maybe an hour to fully diagnose the problem. He thoughly checked in the basement as well as outside. He found the pipe. He said he would call back Wednesday or Thursday to fix it. He called Wednesday morning and came out that afternoon. He fixed it quickly and it was exactly the amount ($300) that he quoted us. He is very professional. We would call him again with any water proofing problem.

The injection process to seal off the crack was the least invasive repair process I've ever had in my home - practically no dust and only some drywall to patch. It was a huge relief to know we could fix our cracked foundation without having to dig everything up in the front yard. I would recommend his diagnostic skills to anyone getting water in their basement.

We called Scott about our basement and he was able to come on the same day and fix the crack in our basement wall. Scott arrived and efficiently assessed the problem, gave us a quote and started on fixing the problem within 15 minutes. Scott did an excellent job prepping the workspace in the basement. Scott spread the epoxy over the entire area, including a hole in the wall where mice were coming in (a secondary issue that Scott essentially fixed because it needed to be done - he first used cement and then the epoxy where the hole was). Scott injected the wall with a different type of epoxy and confirmed that the solution went up and down the length of the crack. It has been almost two weeks since the crack was fixed, we have had multiple rains, including an all day rain yesterday. The basement continues to be dry, which is a complete credit to Scott. Scott is professional and a nice guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get the job done quickly and for a fair price! He and his company are the kind in which you don't want to have to call again, but if you need him, you know that the work done will be outstanding! Scott also provides a 1 year warranty on the injection of the crack.

He looked through the basement and instead of pushing to sell his services, he gave thoughtful advice on what was likely causing the problem - clogged and improperly routed drain lines from the gutter downspouts. I was absolutely delighted that he was so honest and gave alternative - and much cheaper - ways to address the issue. I would ABSOLUTELY call Scott for repairs in the future and would eagerly recommend him to anyone.

Overall everything went fine. The representative made a visit to assess the situation and was friendly and easy going. Arranging an appointment for the repair work was easy and they were flexible in scheduling. The workman was finished in just a few hours and left no mess behind (although I helped him out by providing a shop vac to use for the drywall dust and such). The gray epoxy-like sealer layer over the crack is studded with odd projectiles like suction cups. Perhaps used for forcing the sealer into the crack I suppose. I wasn't present to see how the work was done exactly. In my case it doesn't matter because the entire repair will be drywalled over. I'm just pleased with the results, and although the price seemed a bit high for the time and effort required, we didn't have to do any expensive digging around the foundation like some competing contractors suggested.

The service was excellent, a lot of people told me a much bigger job would be required to fix it, but he was able to get it done efficiently without having to dig or do a lot of work outside. I was getting water in a walk-in closet in my basement. I went on Angie's list and saw that Scott Vallieres had great ratings, so I called Scott and he came out to look at it. He was professional and on time. He couldn't figure out the problem that day and said he would come back the next day when he had more time to spend. He came back out the next day and spent a couple hours trying to recreate the water leakage (it was dry when he came out) so he could see where it was coming from. He tried putting the hose on and saturating the ground, but the foundation was fine. He told me he didnt think it was a foundation problem and that I would probably need the services of a plumber. He gave me a couple plumber names to call and didn't charge me a cent.

Scott was a lifesaver. We have been dealing with this for quite awhile, causing damage to our furniture and carpeting. He was extremely professional and thorough explaining everything he was going to do. I was totally impressed with his determination to figure out the problem and promptly offering to fix it as soon as possible. Scott was very professional and very easy to get ahold of. He came out twice to try to isolate the cause of our basement flooding, and was able to determine that the cause of our damage was not the foundation at all but a mechanical failure in the utility room that was not obvious to anyone for days. Prior to identifying the issue, we went through the process of elimination to determine the cause of the water and he was extremely cautious in his approach, wanting to minimize the damage to the basement (sawing drywall, pulling up the stair landing, etc.). Scott identified the problem and then chiseled out the failure point in the foundation, applied a concrete fill and epoxy sealant to correct and eliminate the problem. He also filled a few other surface imperfections. In addition, he took time to show me how the foundation had been previously repaired and how I could test these areas prior to installing new drywall and carpeting.
