Supposed to be out to do a quote on Thursday and called an hour before to reschedule for Friday. Never showed up or called on Friday and it’s now Tuesday and I haven’t heard anything.

Awesome! They came on a Saturday and finished everything on Sunday! They kept me informed of what they found and what they were going to do. Communication was great with everyone! They did a fantastic job!

As it turns out, I didn't need the work done after all. The condo association is planning on replacing all the roofs next year, so the buyer was okay in me not replacing the couple missing shingles. But all along, Thomas Jefferson Roofing was really, really great to work with. Bobbi, who I believe is their office manager, was tremendously polite and helpful. She could not have been more friendly and helpful. She represented her company very, very well. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Tim was going to meet me between 5-7. He was running a little late and the office called to let me know which is very professional and I appreciated. When Time arrive we walked around and looked at the downspouts and discussed what was covered by the Big Deal that I purchased. He completed the repairs and got on the roof and inspected the gutters and ensured that they were properly secured. We discussed possibly replacing downspouts in the future and I will definitely call them when I get to that point

This company was slightly cheaper than the first estimate we got for the window, But after all the trouble we had getting an install date and getting the salesman to return our calls, we wish we had gone with the first estimate and paid more. The first time they called to install, it was last minute late in the day and was not convenient. Our existing window was leaking and we were interested in getting a set confirmation date. It was a hit and miss thing. When the company finally came to install the window, a worker came to take out the old one and get ready for the installer, who was a separate person. After the installer came, it didn't take long for the window to go in. He left and the worker stayed for several hours working on the flashing, shingles and caulking. He was here until 9 PM. He originally started the job at 1:30 PM. We paid by credit card as soon as the install was finished, but had a hard time getting a receipt which was to be mailed to us. The office secretary or the person who answers the phone said they had some trouble with their credit card system. This was after at least 3 or 4 calls for a receipt. So far we are happy with the product, but we feel the company leaves a lot to be desired in customer service.

That was good. It was great. They were fantastic. They were in and out very quickly. They were very professional.

We woke up to a roof leak on 11/17 and promptly submitted a claim to our home warranty company, so we didn't personally select the company. With that said, I was skeptical about who they would send. I received a call first thing on Monday morning to schedule someone to take a look at our roof. We were able to arrange for someone to be at our house within 2 hours Bill came out and took a look at our roof and provided a detailed description of what they would do. He was very professional and took time to get to know us. Most of the cost was covered by our home warranty, but I felt the price was very reasonable even if we would've had to pay for all of it. Work was completed on 11/26. The only thing I felt was missing was a phone call to let us know they were coming out to do the work. Fortunately, someone was at home. Would definitely use again.

We discovered water dripping from the kitchen ceiling after a very strong storm. We called Tim, the owner of Thomas Jefferson Roofing, and one of his guys came out to look at our situation. We got an estimate from Tim quickly and were relieved to find that we didn't have a major problem. The flashing around our chimney had been installed poorly by the previous owner. Tim came on a Saturday to make the repairs. He had anticipated the job would be no more than 3 hours. When he got into the job he realized that he was going to have to tear off & replace more roof shingles than he originally thought. He stayed until the job was done and didn't try to change the estimate after discovering the job entailed more work than he originally was contracted for. Tim even called prior to our appointment & had me take a picture of my roof & text it to him so that he could match the shingle color & style so the "patch" wouldn't show. We would definitely hire Thomas Jefferson Roofing again.

Everything went well. The roof was never left with exposed wood, shingle lines were chalked, workers seemed to WANT to do a good job! They did crack a window when a hose got hung up on the roof, but they told me about it right away and took care of getting it repaired. I don't know how they could have done a better job - very professional.

The overall experience was very good, timely, and pleasant. The repairs look great and we no longer have issues with the roof after the repairs.

My home warranty company is contracted through this company. So when we noticed a leak in the roof, we contacted the home warranty company and Tim, the CEO came out . Tim was to arrive at 3:00 pm but called me at 3:30 to inform me he was running late and did not arrive until 3:45. Tim did an assessment of the roof and provided me with a fair estimate. At this time, I paid him the $50 deductible which he stated would go towards the $350 balance. We went back and forth for a couple of days concerning me faxing him the contract which he stated needed to be signed and sent to him before he began the work. At the time, my fax machine was down and I told him that the contract was signed, all he had to do was come out, sign off on the contract and then proceed with doing the job. We finally scheduled a day for him to come out and surprise surprise, he was a no show. I called Tim all day and when he finally called back he asked "oh, I was supposed to come out today?" I replied "yes" and Tim stated, "well I forgot and anyway, it snowed a little so I wouldn't be able to get on the roof today anyways." After we hung up, my fiance and I decided not to use Thomas Jefferson and I called Tim to inform him of this. Tim actually called back and asked if we could reschedule! I politely told him no thank you and a week later, I received a bill in the mail for the $50 deductible. At this point, I was livid so I called and explained that I was looking at the contract where it specifically stated that I already paid the deductible with a credit card. I received a call back with an apology. Although I can not speak for the quality of their work, but the professionalism, promptness and my overall experience was horrible!

There was a water mark on my ceiling. The contractor examined the area, then went up into the attic and examined that area, went outside and climbed up on the roof then examined that area. He then came down explained what the problem was and showed me area that needed to be fixed. The home builder did not completely close off an area joining the gargage roof and the over hanging main roof. This allowed strong rains from the southwest to drive up the gargage roof and enter the attic. I agreed to the repairs and he was able make the repairs right then. The repairs were done 3 months ago and I have had no problems since. The contractor was polite, explained the problem completely and finished the work in a timely manner. I will would definitely recommend him.

After we purchased the house a few years ago we discovered a leak in the roof. We called Thomas Jefferson Roofing and they responded quickly and we were very pleased with them. This year we had a leak in the same general area and thought it was where they had repaired it before. We called and they came out to inspect it. They found it was another joint in the roofline close to where they had repaired. They were very helpful and friendly and offered to repair it at no cost saying that it is a messy area of roofline (3 separate angles joining close together) and that it probably would have been a good idea to rebuild the whole area previouslyeven though there were no problems with those joints at the time. They were very generous to include it in their work guarantee!!!!!

Tim Gilliam representative from Thomas Jefferson Roofing & Remodeling the only one out of three roofing contractors that gave me options as far as what we can do to fix the roofing problems, instead of replacement. He gave a very professional and detail quote to do a roof repair and extend the existing roof life for another 4-6 years.He could choose to make a lot of money with the roof replacement, but he didn't. We been through few major storms since the repair no leaking issues. We felt comfortable calling Tim with any questions we had. We have had him back for an assortment of other jobs drywall and paiting. Thomas jefferson emploees was very polite were professional and they work ethic exceptional. The work was completed as scheduled and site was cleaned very nicely. We will defenetely will hire this company in the future and with out question we recomend Thomas jefferson Roofing & Remodeling LLC to anyone who wants to get things done and on budget.

We then experienced a major roof leak causing damage to the inside of our home in February of 2011. You came out and talked with Russ. You indicated the previous work (it leaked right where you repaired the "dead valley" in November) could have been better and offered to perform all the repair work and pay our $1000 homeowner's deductible. Initially the insurance company quoted the work at $1,714.12. Your bid was $3556.03. The adjuster Darril Wright indicated he talked with you about your bid being too high but he increased the reimbursement by $799.21 for a TOTAL reimbursement of $2513.33. AT THIS POINT, I CALLED YOU. I told you about the large discrepancy in what you wanted and what the insurance company was willing to pay. WE TALKED ABOUT THIS. I told you I would find someone to do the work within the insurance company's reimbursement limits. You initially badmouthed American Family saying they never pay enough. However, you said and I quote "I will do the work for what they are reimbursing AND pick up the $1000 deductible." Therefore, I paid you before the work was completed by the way, what you are entitled to: $2513.33 - American Family reimbursement -$1000.00 - Insurance deductible -$506.44 - I bought the wallpaper Leaving $1006.89 and you got a check for $1007.33. I will not even go into the dishwasher repair bill because of your worker. I have attached a listing of time and materials you submitted to American Family on May 11 that are incorrect. In your letter you asked, "What does it matter to you" since "the work is done." There are two reasons turning a fraudulent claim into my insurance company matters to me: 1. contractors fraudulently misrepresenting what they do in order to increase their reimbursement will cost everyone with higher insurance rates 2. moral compass. Even when no one is looking, people should be honest and do the right thing. I have not cashed the insurance payment based on your fraudulent May 11, 2011 invoice as I am returning it to American Family. We signed off on the invoice from February 21 for $3556.03 and you have been paid in full based on that.

Their price was fine. They were good. They were professional. I would probably use their service in the future.
