Greenskeeper has been taking care of our lawn since 2008, and we're very happy with them. Last week, they sprayed for Grub Control & it rained right after he applied the treatment. He told my husband that if we have any problems with grubs, they'll come back & re-spray, free of charge. They call just before their employee is due to arrive, which I really appreciate, so that we have time to be sure our dog is inside. Very polite and thorough. They also offer a prepay discount for their annual service.
Description of Work: They do regular weed & grub control for us. We have also had them aerate our lawn and treat for yellow nutsedge.

The owners of American Irrigation decided to retire and close the business. American Irrigation referred their customers to The Greenskeeper, Inc. Greenskeeper came out to the house for the summer start up. One month later, I received a $650 water bill for the first month after the start-up. I called the water campany about the bill and they confirmed the amount of water usage was a strong indication there was a leak. I called Greenskeeper to make them aware of the water bill and asked if there could have been something their technician had done because the water bill coincided exactly with when they did the start-up. The person who took my call indicated that would not be possible because their technicians NEVER made a mistake. Imagine that? And, to add insult to injury, I would have to wait almost two weeks before Greenskeeper could fit me in to their schedule. I hired a plumber to go through the house to confirm the leak was not caused by any issues related to the house. There wasn't! That was a $325 cost! I contacted a different irrigation service and they were at the house within 24 hours. The tech from the second irrigation service diagnosed that, in fact, the issues were with the irrigation system. First, the PVC backflow pipe was leaking. Second, the tech changed the watering schedule without looking at the original schedule that was in place and written on a note enclosed in the watering system box. As a consequence, the lawn and flower beds were being watered everyday, Sunday - Friday and a second time on Mon, Wed, and Friday. The combination of the backflow leak and the watering schedule were enough to cause a $650 water bill. While that was really disheartening, the rudeness and arrogant attitude of the person who initially handled the call was offensive and totally out of line.
