He was good, the rate for the window was a lot cheaper than buying a new set of blinds. He was very respectful and he showed up on time.

We have ordered a couple of blinds from him. He is good. He did everything he should have done and he was professional. We went with him because my wife had used him before. Blinds are expensive.

Steve is an outstanding servers person. He got here very quickly and repaired in less than 10 minutes. He has good products and backs them to the hilt.

Steve and his son are great people to have in your home. They are very honest and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any service performed on their blinds.

The job went great from beginning to end. The wooden shutters were measured & matched perfectly to fit the historical oak windows in our home. This was a challenge because several of the windows were badly off-center......even with this challenge they worked to make the shutters fit beautifully. I was also very pleased that the shade of the wooden shutters was matched so well with the old oak windows. The shades are now one of our favorite things in our home. I highly recommend this company, they did a wonderful job.

Our cat chewed through the strings controlling three Hunter Douglas Roman shades. Big mess! The BlindMan came as scheduled and quickly restrung all three shades. That fixed the shades, but the cat is still looking for her chance to repeat the crime. Only steel wires would cat-proof these blinds.

It was a complicated window that was like a two storage. I would use them in the future.

Steve arrived on time for the first appointment. He assisted in color of blinds. Sam and Nick arrived 8 days later to install blinds for 6 windows. It was a pleasure to work with Steve, Sam and Nick!

Went wonderfully. Ordering was a breeze. They are beautiful and we could tell difference in living room temp almost immediately. Steve was great to work with would highly recommend him and his team !

This was my first experience with this business. Overall, went very well. Scheduling was a quick turnaround. Arrived on time for pick-up. Workers removed shoes at front door, and proceeded to remove blinds, individually, assigning a number to each blind. Picked up blinds at 10:30am and had them back in my home by 5:00pm. I initially called because they offer ultra sound cleaning, and I had had good results with that method previously. I switched from the vendor I had had several years because I noticed a pattern of maintenance issues that popped up after cleaning ~ chipped paint, gear issues, raising and lowering problems. While my blinds are 20 years old, and I do expect some wear and tear, I was disappointed that post cleaning he did not mention the issues (as if they existed before his arrival). Sam Imel ( The Blind Man's owner's son), was who came to my home. I explained my concern with the paint chipping. With that knowledge he asked if there was a blind he could "trial" to see if the ultra sound method was harmful, and if it proved so, they would wash by hand. They ended up washing by hand. A bonus for me was to have the blinds completely dry when they were rehung ~ My previous vendor cleaned them in his truck on site, and they were rehung wet. Sam was very informative. He suggested I contact Hunter Douglas in reference to a repair that he deduced was probably a production flaw, and needed replaced as opposed to repaired. He took the time to show me what he meant.

He was very nice, kind and came right over. The work was fine. The price for getting a new blind was really expensive.

He contacted me immediately and squeezed me in the same day. Gave me his professional opinion as to what product would work best for the windows in our house. Measured windows, assisted with color choices. What I thought I wanted were not the best for our wants and needs...he could have sold me a much more expensive product, but opted to be honest with me through his explanation of the "why's and why not's" I have placed an order for several windows and will plan to do the rest of the house in the coming months. So glad to have called him. You can tell he loves what he does and that his customers are important to him.

Overall, the experience went very well. I called Steve to set up a time and he was able to get us in the following week. We are expecting a baby in two weeks and working under a bit of a timeline. We were very appreciative of his flexibility. Steve's son, Sam, and co-worker Nick came to collect all the blinds. They worked quickly and neatly. They were extremely polite, professional, and efficient. They returned on time two days later to install the clean blinds. The blinds looked fantastic! It is so refreshing to have clean, dust-free blinds! We had a few broken clips and they replaced them for free. They even spent extra time to help my husband install brackets for our new traverse rod. Again, on the return trip, both Sam and Nick were professional, polite, and efficient. I'd highly recommend The Blind Man!

Great. Steve came early to first appointment and had already measured windows. I was going to purchase the blinds on line and was only going to use him for the doors, but his price including installation was less than $100 more than ordering on the internet and installing them myself. In addition, on the day we closed he was waiting in my driveway for my call to indicate the close was finished and had the blinds almost completely installed by the time I arrived at the house. That type of service really eased the stress of moving. I will recommend him to anyone interested in window treatments and will use him again.

Great experience with Steve. I called to set up an estimate on a Tuesday and he was able to come on Thursday. Very prompt service and very easy to get along with. Within two weeks of our initial visit the blinds were installed. Very pleased with the entire experience.

Steve Imel came to my home to measure windows and provided useful information on style and color selection. Blind order came in quickly and Steve called to arrange appt for installation. Steve and his son came to my home to install the blinds and shades and they were very neat, friendly and professional. Took down existing blinds and disposed of them for me. Came back to make adjustments on 2 blinds covering sunroom doors the same day and am very happy with the outcome of the blinds. I called Steve a few days after the original install about the honeycomb shades covering the french doors. Was not happy with the appearance of the shades. He immediately came out to assess the problem and ended up removing the shades at my request. Again, he was very professional and friendly even though I wanted the blinds removed. Very happy with the products and Steve. Will definitely use his company in the future for remainder of windows I want to cover. Blinds are very high quality with lifetime warranty and look beautiful.

They did an excellent job. I called Steve to get an estimate for putting blinds on 3 windows (2 already had blinds I wanted replaced). Steve came out the next day and gave me an estimate that I thought was fair. He is a very pleasent person and very easy to work with. The blinds arrived in less than a week and his son came out and removed the 2 old blinds and installed the 3 new ones.He is also a very nice person. Everything went well. I have also asked them to put new curtains on 2 windows in a bedroom.

I was hesitant to put in the same brand because the cords had been breaking & I had trouble finding people who would repair the cords. Steve Imel assured me that it was a quality product & I should order it again. He also guaranteed that he would fix the cord if it did break. Well, I waited to put in a review because I was doubtful & about a month after installation the cord did break. Steve was true to his word & came out & ordered a new cord and came back a couple of weeks later & it was the wrong size cord. He ordered another one & it was fixed a couple of weeks after that. Steve said it was rare that the cords would break like that but that is why I waited at least a year to review because I wanted to see if it kept happening. Steve did his part to repair the blind & that's all anyone can ask because things will break now & again. I have not had anymore trouble with the blind or the cord & I would recommend Steve without hesitation!
