 + -1 moreThe string broke on our duet (honeycomb) blind. In the past I have taken the blinds to a firm in Fishers for repair; however because of where I live and work that's terribly inconvenient. My physician actually recommended this company. I researched the firm on Angie's List and found they had a very good rating. Steve arrived at the scheduled time, make the necessary repairs rather quickly, and was on his way. He charged me $45. I will definitely use this company again and would gladly recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: The valance came off of my vertical blinds because the clips that held it in place had all broken. Steve came and said immediately he had the parts to fix it. He replaced the broken parts and added some screws so the valance with dust cover won't fall off anymore. He was very professional and responsive. I would use his services again.

Steve arrived as scheduled and in fact, was early. He completed the work within 30 minutes and the blind works great now. The price to repair was very reasonable considering the cost to replace it. I would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: Steve repair our main blinds. He was prompt, reasonably priced, and very courteous. I trust Steve in my home even if I am not there as he seems to be very sincere, which is tough to find these days.

 + -1 moreIt was wonderful. I'd recommend him highly. He was just great to work with. He met us on a Saturday morning, brought samples and we made our choices. He told us it'd be two weeks. When it was time to install, he called me 15 minutes before so I could leave work. It took him about 15 minutes to install the blinds. We gave him our credit card to pay half the money down. My husband wanted to pay the full amount up front, but he wouldn't do that until the job was done. He was very friendly and didn't make a mess. We are very happy with the blinds.

We called the day before our appt. to confirm and he returned the call confirming. He arrived on time, was professional and pleasant and went to work immediately.  + -1 moreWe thought it was broken, but it really wasn't. He had to show us what was wrong with it. He showed him that when you do a blind it's like milking a calf. I am having a party and it had to be fixed, it looks a thousand times better. He said we just werent milking the cow. My husband said he was real nice. He gave us tips to remember in the future, it was great.

 + -1 moreOur experience with Mr. Imel, The Blind Man, was great. He was prompt and courteous and very professional. He gave us options and did not push the most expensive ones. While expensive his prices were definitely cheaper than those of the developer who installed other blinds we have in the house. He only asked for payment of half for a down payment. He installed the blinds as they cam in and did not ask for the rest of the payment until all of the blinds were installed to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Provided an estimate for and installed shutters and blinds in portions of our home. Nine (9) shutters for our upstairs rooms and for the side windows to our front door and a pull down blind for a bathroom. He also installed all of the shutters and blinds.

Description of Work: Steve was able to come within a couple of days of the date I phoned him. He looked at my broken vertical blind rail and gave me a price to replace it. (The price included a 5% Angies List discount.) He returned with the part 11 days later and repaired it in 15 minutes. He also offered advice on how I could fashion a Roman shade myself from a piece of fabric I already own (rather than have him do it) and then pay for istallation only. I am inclined to trust a professional who will tell me how to save money rather than insist that I need his services!
