 + 1 moreI just used TGR in August for a couple of lights that needed replaced. I had a couple more that I wanted replaced- a flush mount and a ceiling fan. He came in and had to leave to get the correct bracket to support the ceiling fan. He was here for maybe 1.5 hours. Well worth the time and money!

Description of Work: Paul Santellana replaced six of our old,cheap, builder's brass lighting fixtures with new ones that we supplied. The new light fixture in our entrance way was installed on an 18' ceiling and Paul had to use scaffolding to reach it. Paul was on time, courteous and quickly had all lights installed and corrected the wiring on the fixture in our nook (something I installed a few years back). This is the third time we have used Paul -- he ran new wiring and installed our LED under cabinet lighting a year ago, and last summer he replaced our outdoor lights on the front of the house. We highly endorse Paul & TGR Electric and will continue to use them in the future.

 + -1 moreVery positive experience. We called TGR (owned by Paul Santellana) the day after it happened about 8 AM and Paul was at our house a little bit after noon. Paul called when he was on his way and arrived about 20 minutes after that so very punctual. Paul explained to us what had caused the problem and replaced the switch and corrected the wiring. Paul was very polite throughout his work and did the job in a timely and efficient manner. We will definitely call on Paul and TGR for any future eletrical needs. Highly recommended.

 + -1 morePaul arrived on time, and called about 15 minutes ahead to tell me he was on his way. He explained to me why the outlet was failing. It's related to a common construction method, a sort of 'quick' way to wire the outlets, rather than twisting the wires for a better connection. Although it was okay for many years, extra load on that outlet recently (space heater) probably heated the wires just enough to cause a problem. He was polite, professional, and quick! I will definitely call him again if I need electrical work.
Description of Work: Replaced electrical outlet. Problem: Intermittently, when plugging in or unplugging anything from a particular outlet, everything on that circuit would sometimes go off, but the circuit breaker was always okay.

He showed up promptly and went right to work. He is clearly experienced in doing what he does and works quickly and professionally. The job was done in a short period of time and he even took the time to talk with me about another electrical issue.
Description of Work: 3 way switch in a dining room blew, leaving the only light in the room inoperable.

 + -1 moreEverything went great. We had used Paul before and we were impressed with his demeanor and confident in his abilities. He returned on Monday. He contacted Duke Energy to turn off the power while he worked. He replaced the electric box/meter and reconnected power.
Description of Work: We had an unexplained partial loss of power. Paul came on a Saturday to look thing over and found that one of the main trunks to our house had pulled loose from the box/meter and shorted. He was able to rearrange some of our circuit breakers to give us power to things we needed until it could be repaired.

I thought I needed a GFCI in my 1/2 bath but Paul determined that it was already connected to another GFCI in the house. I will definitely use him again in the future.
