Prompt response to request for service followed by estimate that included a detailed specification listing materials to be used, work to be performed for each side of house and deck. His work crew was professional and detail oriented, including clean-up daily. His carpenter repaired damaged siding where needed. The owner discussed what paints and stains they were using for each surface / area of the house / deck and why - including previous experience with the product that would provide maximum protection and longevity. The materials used were not the least expensive but we were pleased with the selection of products and the value for the money. The owner was on-site frequently and made time to completely explain what was being done and why at each step of the process. We were very pleased with the outcome (painting of exterior of house). Our deck was badly weathered and required significant cleaning (two treatments) followed by sanding to restore it to a satisfactory condition. The owner took time to discuss deck stain colors including a contrast color for the rail. He brought color samples and during the color selection process talked to local paint stores and returned several times to ensure we would be pleased and that it would match the color scheme of the house. To ensure longevity, several coats of stain were applied over several days. To ensure full saturation of the stain and even coverage after his crew applied several coats of stain, the owner returned and did extensive touch-up / hand applications / brushing to ensure full coverage and an even color appearance. He did an extensive debrief after completion, including post-completion care and recommendations for periodic washing of the house / deck and touch-up. Very detail and quality oriented. We would highly recommend. The quality of the repairs, finishes and final appearance were worth the expense as in "you get what you paid for".

Our contact with Spectrum Services was Andy and our experience with him could not have been better. From the initial quote and through each visit, it was clear that Andy is passionate about painting and getting all the details right. For the interior paint work, he very carefully considered all the options and educated my wife and me about the various grades of primer and paint to ensure that the existing deep brown color could be painted a soft and relaxing cream. Our service included a custom color consultation with a representative from a paint retailer to help us narrow down our color selection. The interior painting team also corrected some trim painting errors and properly caulked the ceiling joint to get an even line. The team was also careful to match the trim color so that they wouldn't have to redo all the trim work to save us a few dollars. The team was also very professional- arriving on time, working hard, and cleaning up afterwards. For the deck maintenance, Andy was again meticulous with the details, ensuring a good color to the old stain and making sure that the work they did to prep the surface wouldn't do long term damage. He was careful to choose environmentally friendly chemicals to clean the deck and applied minimal pressure with the power washer to avoid cutting the wood. The few treated pine boards that needed to be replaced were hand selected by Andy to ensure a true board without unsightly knots. His carpentry team also constructed a seamless access panel in the deck to allow our dryer vent to be accessed and cleaned. In addition to some wood p***** damage on exterior wood boards, several wood trim boards adjacent to the brick work of the house have started to cup away from the brick. Andy's carpentry team was able to replace the worst boards and secure the others with a combination of screws and nails. His commercial caulking team was also able to seal the boards with a color matched polyurethane caulk that will last a few decades and breath with the seasons. This should help preserve the boards for several years to come and keep water out. We couldn't have been happier working with Andy and the rest of the Spectrum team. The work looks great, and prices were fair and the service and attention to detail have been a pleasure. We cannot recommend Spectrum enough and look forward to having Andy and his team come back to paint more of the interior of our home.

He was punctual and professional. Andy knows what he's doing, and is even more of a color-matching perfectionist than I am, and I'm a design professional. He also has a finer eye for subtle color differences than I do, and I pride myself on my abilities in that area. His work was first-rate, and he showed great care in preparation, and in protection of the surrounding areas.

We have had several jobs done by Spectrum Home Services over the past several years and without exception the quality of workmanship has been truly outstanding every time. Service is always on time and extremely helpful and courteous. They're the best.

Spectrum Home Services provided excellent service and extremely high quality work. The primary focus of the project was to update the kitchen and other living areas with modern, clean colors. This included painted and reworking the kitchen cabinets from a dull wood finish to a clean, white finish. Spectrum offered consulting in color selection and fine points of modernization. They also coordinated other contractors as necessary for work involving tile and electrical. I also wanted drawers installed in some of my cabinets and they delivered exactly what I described. The results were better than I had imagined. Color selection was a difficult process for me and they were extremely patient and offered very good advice throughout. Once the kitchen was transformed, they moved into the powder room, dining room, 2 story living room, basement and master bedroom and bath. Again, I was uncertain of color choice but their advice and help in trying different colors resulted in color choices that are beautiful and flow nicely from room to room. I was very concerned about our high-end stereo system in the living room, especially since scaffolding would be needed to paint the 2 story ceiling. Spectrum understood my concerns and went above and beyond to insure that the equipment would be kept free from dust and damage. Every employee was friendly and I trusted them at all times. The work was done in the timeframe stated and, most importantly, they were extremely willing to add little touches along the way that I had not planned. As new requests were made and little problems were found they were quick to respond with the resources necessary to provide all that was required to complete the job and deliver more than was asked. It was a pleasant experience for my family. At no time did I feel any concerns at all. I will definitely hire Spectrum for all of my painting and service needs. In fact, they will begin another project for me this week. I have recommended them to others several times and will continue to do so. I cannot say enough about their high quality of work, their neatness as they work and their fine eye for detail. Truly a pleasure!

I knew that some of my home needed repainting but some areas did not. Andrew Wagoner suggested cleaning the exterior surfaces in order to determine which areas needed paint, which was an excellent suggestion. Secondly, we knew that there were some areas that needed special attention. Andrew Wagoner again had excellent suggestions on how to address the problem areas. Spectrum then executed the work in a very meticulous fashion, cleaned up after themselves and timely finished the work. I am a very meticulous person, and not easily satisfied. Spectrum exceeded my expectations.

I dont think it could have gone any better. Spectrum came up with wonderful ideas and the project moved along quickly and without issues. The teams eye for detail was one of the things I loved most about them. When they said they were going to do something they did it and if came up with issues were quick to be in contact with me. I had a VERY OLD door bell cover that Andy did not like how it turned out and wanted to either re-do it or find a new modern one. He tried multiple options and none of them were quite what he thought were just right (though would have been fine with me) and while this was the last item on the project and he could have easily stopped and used one that would have worked, he didnt and in the end we found one that woked just perfectly. That is how he handled everything.

The were excellent, they were responsive. Things they couldn't do in one day they explained why and had great communication. I thought he was done but he called to let me know he still had work to finish with no additional charge.

He brought in drywallers to do the final prep to match the texture in the garage. Andy did the final painting. He was very detail-oriented and did a great job on short notice.

He works for me from time to time. He has always been wonderful. He worked awesome works for me since 1998. He is an absolute perfectionist, sometimes that drives you crazy but it was always finished fabulously. He has done small dry wall for me before, patching and that sort of thing and I?m not talking about a whole house. He?s not always incredibly punctual, you have to wait a while because he is always busy. Everybody thinks he is great. He has done both interior and exterior for me when I needed it.

Initial contact was great. Arrived on time. Listened carefully to our needs. Gave us a very competitive quote. Work was started on the scheduled day and completed on time. Andy is very responsive . He kept us up to date with progress. He has a great knowledge and identified and corrected many small problems that we did not even appreciate we had. He does not just apply the paint, but is meticulous in preparing the walls properly. He uses only top quality materials. He is on site. His work crew are great -efficient and cheerful. Everything is neat and clean with no messes. After completing the work Andy checks carefully for any tiny areas that are not perfect, and corrects them I give Spectrum my highest rating. we will use them again.

My experience turned out pretty well. We had contracted them to do the work in the Fall of 2013 and they did not get to us until June of 2014. They were very thorough.

Andy and one of his workers were the ones that did the work. They were very thorough in their work and did a nice job. They were very professional and they cleaned up well after themselves.

Andy is very conscientious. He is good about calling and or responding to your calls. He is meticulous about details and very thorough. If he starts a project for you and hits a bump he immediately brings it to your attention along with several options on how to fix that which is wrong. He has strong ties to other professionals if he feels the job is beyond his crews areas of expertise and won't hesitate to involve them if you feel the need. I have used Andy and his crew for over a decade and have never once regretted my decision. My only hesitation on writing this review was the thought that I would have to share Spectrum with others.

Part of my exterior painting contract with SPC included a very thorough power wash of the front of my house. I wish I would have taken a before and after pic of my vinyl siding and brick because the change in color and brightness was amazing. The dirt, mildew and cobwebs were gone and my house almost seemed to glow. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the outcome of the power wash job that SPC completed. They were very careful to move any potted plants and avoided any over spray on the flowerbeds. Very professional and highly recommended.

Our dog had ruined a few of our window sills and the repair and paint job was fabulous! They quoted the job and scheduled a time to complete it. They were on time and very courteous.

I've been using Andy Wagoner and Spectrum Painting Corp for over 17 years, starting with a remodel of my home. The quality of work is exceptional, Work is always scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Andy always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done as promised. Should anything go wrong, he is quick to fix it. I will continue to recommend him to my friends.

Each project went quite well with contractor providing meticulous service and attention to details with excellent quality. Work was completed in a timely manner as well as clean-up performed in a professional manner. The repair of a chimney-related leak had been misdiagnosed by a previous company which would have resulted in unnecessary work at additional cost had Spectrum not discovered the true source of the leak. As to the cost to me for the services provided, I rated it "good" rather than "excellent" because I did not get competitive bids on each job and, therefore, cannot speak with knowledge.

Andy and the others working on our home did a wonderful job! The front door was stained one color on the outside, and a completely different color on the inside. The first exterior color matched the swatch we had seen, but it wasn't what we wanted on the door once we saw it on a larger area. Andy happily got a second color in accordance with our new instructions and it looks great. Because we weren't painting our home at the time, Spectrum had to match the custom color of the exterior paint and to make sure that it would blend with the stain color. The results were excellent. In addition to their skill level, the attitude of Andy and everyone at our home during the process made communication easy. They were happy to discuss and explain whenever we had a question or wanted to discuss something. The quality of their work was greatly appreciated! We have recommended them to our neighbors and are having them paint the exterior of our home in October/November, 2014.

Andy and his crew are busy, but we were not in a big hurry. Once the date was set, he was there. Andy is a real professional and he knows how to assess a situation, determine what needs to be done (any why) and complet the work in a professional manner. He also STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK!!

We were very satisfied with the work done by Spectrum. Andy Waggoner oversaw all aspects of this project including working with us on paint choices and being patient when we made some color changes after the painting started. They arrived on time, cleaned up before leaving and we received a status report each day either by phone or in person. It was a pleasure to work with Spectrum and we really appreciated their efforts to make the process go smoothly. Each night when we came home, our condo order had been restored and we were able to go about our normal evening routine. That was very important to us since this project lasted about 3 weeks and we appreciated their effort to disrupt our lives as little as possible during this time. We would highly recommend Spectrum and would definitely use them for future painting needs.
