Sears Hardware Store

The old water heater that I had was from this company. It was only six years old. The hot water heater was leaking badly. The shut-off valve on the hot water heater itself was frozen. So, I had to shut off the water to the entire house; I did not have any water at all in the house. When it stopped working, I had called them for repairing the same. They told me that they could not come out till another week. I told them that I could not do without hot water for that long a period. So, I used another company for the job. I was very disappointed with their inability to provide service in time of dire need. Also, I was very disappointed in the quality of the product. I will not buy anything from this company again. I would tell the others that they do not backup their products with the proper service. They are not customer oriented. Their price was great for the water heater, but obviously you get what you pay for. When I called them the following week, they told me that they wanted to come out and inspect the hot water heater. They wanted to see the old heater to make a judgment regarding the compensation. I told them that it had already been removed. Even though, I had all the paper work, they needed to see the actual heater. However, it was unavailable. I was not given any advice regarding what the protocol should be in the disposition of the water heater itself. I am totally unhappy with this company.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY WHEN I VISITED THEIR STORE TO HAVE SOME KEYS MADE FOR OUR NEW HOME. I ALSO LOOKED AT SOME GARAGE DOOR OPENER ACCESSORIES AND TALKED WITH THEM REGARDING ADVICE ABOUT A FEW PROJECTS. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND WELCOMED US TO THE STORE AND TO THE AREA. THEY INVITED US TO LET THEM HELP US WITH ANY FUTURE PROJECTS. WE'LL BE BACK.
