They are very professional arborists. I have a maple tree in my front yard that got diseased and it's growing and was getting bigger and bigger _________ 51:33 when I brought the house has grown to the point where it was going ________, so they went ahead and cleaned it. ______________. Pricewise, they were a little higher, but they really did more than I thought they were going to do.

A tree was blown down onto the roof of my house, crushing part of the roof. The tree remained on the roof, and needed to be carefully removed to avoid further damage. Vine and Branch was able to come the same day I contacted them about this problem, and they brought their heavy crane to lift the trunk of the tree (about 30 inches across, maybe 25 feet long) off of the house. They worked from afternoon until about 8:30 at night to complete the work, by floodlight, and arrived early the following day to complete the cleanup and removal of some additional branches. Because of rain expected within one more day, their prompt and dedicated service helped avoid considerable further damage to my home, as I was able to get the damaged roof tarped before rain fell.

From start to finish they were professional, on time, on spot and they did all of this regardless of the 92 degree day. I am so pleased and would hire them again in a heart beat.

After receiving the quote for the additional trimming of the 2 trees, I was wondering where I was at on the schedule, since the original 2 - 3 week timeframe was fast approaching. Keep in mind, I was not in a hurry to get it done, I just wanted to know my job did not get lost in the shuffle, and whether it was going to happen this week, this month or next month. After trying to get an answer a couple times over the last 7 days, and getting no response, I cancelled the job, and the tree service they had been performing over the last several years. I could not believe the lack of communication with them. My feeling is this company used to be very customer focused (we had been a customer for awhile). Now, they have fallen into the same trap that many companies fall into; they've grown so much that the customer has lost importance. Communicating with the customer does not appear to be important to them. There are many excellent companies in this category of Angie's List, who still focus on the customer, and I would urge everyone reading this review to explore them. The good that came out of this, is I found one.

Everything is top of the line. They are just wonderful!

Previously they have treated the ash tree. I requested a recommendation for further treatment. They were not responsive and said they could not get to me until September. He simply suggested cutting down the tree and was not interested in pruning it. The treatment estimate was 30% higher than any other estimate we got. He did not seem very interested in saving the tree, he just wanted to cut it down. Anyone else we talked to said it was a tree worth saving. We have been working with this company for years and I was surprised with this interaction.

They did a really nice job and I would highly recommend them

I've used them for a long time. They are always very courteous. They gave me 6 sprays for leaf diseases and foliage service. Do a great job.

The crew was punctual, professional, and very accommodating. They responded to the homeowner's suggestions and cleaned the area thoroughly.

It went very well. Certified Arborist Damian Leiba had visited my yard and did a careful examination of the work to be done. He explained it clearly and carefully. Although he was not present the day when the work was actually completed, I felt confidant that the project would be done well. It was. The crew had all the proper equipment and city permits. The crew worked quickly but with care. Clean-up was thorough. Price seemed a bit high, but I do not know what the rate is for such services. I feel good about how the trees look and about their safety.

I have no complaints with their service. I have been using them for about five years now.

They arrived and removed the evergreen on the patio first. Then they removed the maple tree next to the house. One worker used the saw and was in the lift. The other two, secured the ropes on the branches and took the branches to be shreaded. They then all cleaned up the areas and put the furniture back on the patio. They worked very safely.

Their price was very competitive and they did an excellent job. They were very efficient and cleaned up everything.

It went very well. They came out in April to give me an estimate for my ash trees. They told me that they no longer do prevention, just treatment now since the ash borer in so prevalent. They put me on their list and came while I was out and left the invoice on the door knob. I was very pleased and happy to get the treatment since my two neighbors across the street have trees that are infested. One is almost 3/4 gone. They also gave me an estimate for removal, but I decided to have them treated and will continue to do so until I see signs of infestation.I will continue to use them for any tree service.

They did excellent work and I have used them for 21 years.

Initially, we thought we were receiving great advice on how to prevent our Ash tree from dying. Sadly, the advice we received (to spray the trunk) was not helpful and our Ash is dying. We have chosen not to rate this company. We feel we MAY have inadvertently implied that we were more interested in saving money than treating the tree...which wasn't the case. We were under a great deal of stress for other reasons and that may have been interpreted that we didn't want to invest in this particular tree. In addition, the weather in Indiana in the last few years has contributed to the overall health of our trees. That said, IF you are looking for reliable information on how to protect your ash trees, we'd recommend contacting: International Society of Arboriculture for a listing of certified MASTER arborists in your area. The treatment of the emerald ash borer is highly specific and effective, skilled treatment can save your trees if done properly. Spraying the trunk is not enough and not effective. Best wishes

We woke to find a large branch had blown off of our Bradford Pear and was laying on the fence and surrounding plants. I called Vine and Branch and they came that morning to remove it.

Vine and Branch has been very reliable, and their methods have proven to be quite effective.

I wasn't around when they did it, but it turned out fine.

My advice is to not be put off by the fact that it may take a while for them to get out to you to give an estimate. If you want something immediate it takes them about 3-4 weeks to come out to give an estimate; but it is definitely worth waiting for that. I will use them again in the future.

The work was fine. We've used them on and off for 20 years predominantly because they are certified arborists and we usually have them take care of trees in the spring for bugs and stuff like that. They are fairly expensive but they are worth it. They seem to be fairly responsive and they come when they are supposed to. We use them for specific tasks that we think they are the best at. They know trees and how to treat them and take care of tree diseases and trimming.

We switched to another provider because I have a friend who works there. But Vine and Branch Inc did a good job. But they changed their whole focus. They are now just doing mainly trees removal. Before that they did the whole landscaping now they have definitely changed their focus. They did come out about a year or so ago to take of a tree that was threatening one of the sides of our house. They did an excellent job. They were not that expensive. They give estimates based on the situations whether they have to bring out a cherry picker or not. This thing was a fairly simple one when it came down to it. So it was not as expensive as we thought it might be. They were able to keep the cost down by using different equipment. We mainly liked them for their landscaping because we have a lot of busyness going on in our backyard and in the front. They came out and they had planners that would actually go ahead and tell you what you should do with your garden and how you should landscape it. There was a woman named Jill who used to do it but now she has left them and gone on her own because they were not doing that segment of the business. Overall they were very good. Price wise when we got our second quote this year it was a little bit less. But I was not sure whether the present lady was just beating it. Responsive wise they were really backed up and there were some delays in the scheduling but they kept calling us to tell us and it was not like they ignored us. They were very punctual. If they still had the same segment of their business we will use them in the future. But they don't. They did a good job with the tree removal but I really did not get to know those people, the landscaper and the landscape planner. You kind of work hand in hand with them a couple of years. It was crew that came out who co-ordinated and did the tree thing.

Vine and Branch were working 4 weeks out, which was fine with us as there was no emergency. They had power lines check, took down the tree and disposed of all limbs, including some of those we had piled near the tree from previous storms. They asked if it was OK that they come back to finish with the stump grinding, as they had an emergency storm call. They returned within the next few days to do that work.

Smoothly. Gave estimate, scheduled within a reasonable time, work performed well and according to esatimate.
