He was apologetic about the $110 fee and that they would fit it in between other large jobs. A couple days later a crew of 5 men came out and two of the men removed the branches. They did it in a few minutes. We felt it was well worth the money to us because we couldn't have done the work in a few minutes. The fellow we dealt with was very knowledgeable and we felt reassured about our landscaping. I would certainly recommend them to someone that has tree work that needs to be done. We will be using them again in the spring.

They arrived on time, took several samples with them to analyze. They came back to me and reported that our problem was caused by squirrels and they would not recommend treatment. This service was all free of charge. I really appreciate their honesty and candor. I would definitely call on them again if I had another problem.

They were very professional, extremely careful, and did a very thorough job. I will definitely use them again.

This took them about 3 days to do this job. It went well and they cleaned up well. They have to come back to grind the tree stumps out.

Arborist came out, was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, took the time to walk around the trees and take pictures, and explained to me what he recommended be done and why. I wound up going with another company because of the difference in price (a few hundred dollars).

I was impressed with the positive comments that they had on Angie's List. We had gotten several estimates, and the other company that we were considering gave an estimate that was higher than this company. We had them come out to do the work. They did a great job and the clean up was thorough.

Great. They were very sensitive to the urgency of the situation and returned quickly to trim again.

Vine and Branch entered a competitive bid, brought a crane truck and a large chipper/shredder with several workers, and cleared the tree and downed branches in 1 1/2 days of work. They cleaned broken stubs on surviving trees (secondary damage from the fall) and removed all debris from the area, leaving a nicely clear work area. I am pleased with the work and would gladly use them again. The only negative was needing to wait several days after hiring them for the work to be started, but this was due to other scheduled jobs and the delay (3 business days plus the weekend) was not excessive.

The initial phone call and estimate were great, very professional, very polite, and very fast. The estimate was very detailed (I had asked each company to break down the cost of removing the whole tree vs. just the stump, etc., and they were the only ones who actually listened and is primarily why I chose them over the others). However, once I called them to perform the actual service, they said it would be roughly one week. I waited two weeks and called them back since I had not heard from them nor had the yard been marked for the various utility lines (they said they'd likely call shortly after the lines were marked to let us know when they were coming out). When I talked with them, the guy was very professional and mentioned they were just behind because of all the storms (which of course is why we had our trees removed) and I can understand that, I just expected a call after the first week since they said that's how long it would be. Then it ended up being at least another week or two after that to get the job done because some of their equipment broke, but again, we received no calls keeping us informed of the new time line. The work itself was very well done, we didn't have to be at the house or anything, but the communication could have been better (the fact that it took nearly a month to get the job done didn't really bother me that much). I also wish that we would've received a discount or something for our patience. In the end, some of these were odd circumstances, so don't be afraid to give them a try yourself, especially if you aren't in a hurry.

We had a great experience with them. They provided a written estimate, came promptly and left the area very clean.

Vine and Brach has been a pleasure to work with. They seem fairly knowledgeable and very helpful. They are very good about providing a quote and they come out to treat our trees on a regular basis.

They get back to you very quickly. They schedule as promptly as they can and it's reasonable timing. They are very good about cleaning up after their mess. They provide a all the information you need on how to take care of your trees.

The work they did was good. Some of the plants didn't make and they were going to come back and replace them but they never did that. The plants in some of the areas were not good for that area cause they got to much water.

During a storm, I looked out the window and watched as the largest tree in my yard was beginning to fall over. It looked like it would take down a stand of evergreens along with it, if I didn't do something quick. I called Vine and Branch for an estimate for removing the toppling tree. I had used them before for other tree concerns and they were just great. They came out and gave me an estimate within 30 or 40 minutes. I said to go ahead and within a couple of hours they had removed the toppling tree before it could clobber the nearby evergreens. I was very pleased that they could do this so quickly because I knew they were busy with other customers who also had storm damage. All the staff that helped me out - the phone answerers, the estimator, the tree and stump removal people - they all really know their business, are good at customer service and did a great job.

They were very busy but they gave us a very fast quote, which was at their normal pricing even after the tornado. They scheduled a week to ten days out, then the tree started to shift and create a hazard, so they came that afternoon and took it out. I would say you could call them without competing estimates and just trust them.

I e-mailed the company to get an estimate. They were very prompt to call per my e-mail, but they never came out to give estimate, nor did they call for follow up.

They didn't cause any damage to the house, and they did a great job. They were the best I've ever used in tree service. The only problem I had was that they were so busy, and it took a month to get a bid, but that's because they are the best in town, and I've had some major storms this year. They told me that it would be a few weeks before they could get me an estimate.

They did a good job. They arrived on time and cleaned up well. They were reasonably priced. I would recommend them to others.

This company was recommended by my lawn service. They do an excellent job and even offer me a warranty. I have a large lot that has been improving since I started using this company. I am an avid gardener and I like using this company.

Price is the yearly fee. I pay extra for any tree additions or removals. They are very nice, friendly people who do a good job!

I hired them last year to look at an Austrian pine. They gave an estimate to spray the tree. I eventually canceled the service because I thought it was too expensive. This year I received an unsolicited estimate to treat the same tree. The letter said If I did not reply to cancel the estimate they would go ahead and do the service. They came out without my authorization. They treated the tree, I called to complain. They stated that the contract stated that was the policy. I didn't even request an estimate because last year I canceled service over complaints in pricing.

Very happy with their work. The quote was given to me via email and was very professional. Once I agreed to the service, they were very prompt about getting me into their schedule. They told me it was usually a 2-3 week wait for the service, but they worked me in within a few days of my quote acceptance. The tree trimming staff was friendly and answered my questions. They cleaned up thoroughly and were done in no time. I'd use them again, but I think I'll shop around first for some cheaper pricing to ensure they aren't too high.

Fairly happy with the service in the beginning, although the company's responsiveness has always been an issue. Seems like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing on the business side. Appointments aren't scheduled properly. Crews show up when not expected. We have been on an annual maintenance plan for care of our wooded lot, but we always have to call them to remind them. They apparently do not have some kind of tickler system to keep up with regular maintenance. We were under a plan to have our ash trees treated for prevention of damage from the emeral ash borer. They had forgotten that we were on that program until we reminded them. They totally missed a treatment last year. When the company was working on our master landscape plan, the architect did not contact us for 6-8 months after our initial conversations. When we finally called him, he said so much time had passed that he had been embarrassed to call us!

I did not hire them because they didn't call to give me an estimate.

Their work was excellent! They sent someone out to give me an estimate (which I received via email) within a week of my phone call. I only had to sign and fax the estimate back to confirm my acceptance of the estimate. They called within a few days to let me know that I had been put on the schedule and then the work was done a few days later. All the trimming was done very professionally (not a hatchet job as I've had with other tree trimming companies). The cleanup was outstanding. They even removed all the small branches that had fallen out of the trees a few weeks ago in the storms we had. I am so thrilled with the skill and artistry of the trimming they did! The trees look healthy and beautiful! I highly recommend Vine and Branch!
