Robert and Rick were both extremely responsive to our initial inquiry about a roofing estimate. They got out to the house quickly and provided a thorough estimate the same day in writing. A few days before the start date, Rick came out to the house with multiple shingle samples and answered all of my questions about quality, wear and tear over time, so I could pick the best option. The first day of work, the roofers were all very prompt, put protective measures in place to keep debris out of the gardens and off of the house structures. I was very impressed by the work ethic, the entire team worked from 7am till a little past 9pm due to impending rain the next day. The roofers did an excellent job removing four skylights that we no longer wanted in the house and framed in the areas before laying down the decking. They were just as prompt the second day as they were on the first and the end product is a fantastic looking roof. I had no idea how much debris came with removing a roof and Robert D. Stevens did an excellent job removing all of the debris and nails and even came into the house and used a shop vac to clean the areas that had sawdust as a result of removing the skylights. We are extremely pleased with the final product and would strongly recommend Robert D. Stevens Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

Rick came out to our home to inspect the condition of our 11 year old roof. Several of our neighbors are having their roofs replaced completely, or repaired, so we took that as our cue to have ours looked at. Rick called an hour before, and gave a detailed report when he finished. Fortunately, our roof is in great shape, but if it needs any work in the future, we will definitely give Steven's roofing a call. Ricks professional, honest opinion was greatly appreciated.

We needed to get a new roof and called around for estimates. They called back quickly and scheduled an appointment to check out the roof and send us an estimate. Everything went smoothly and we had the estimate on the table a few days later. We went with a different provider but we were very happy with their prompt replies and professionalism.

Robert D. Stevens Roofing came out to inspect and repair the roof after a bad storm had torn some shingles off. Very prompt and efficient! We have used this company in the past to do our gutters as well and they always do great work!

Mr. Campbell is the project manager. He is very professional. He did our roof repair last Tuesday 9 pm before the rain. When we found out that there were still two shingles missing and contacted him over the weekend he scheduled the coming Tuesday to fix them. He did a very good job to fix the roof and made the loosing shingles secure. We are very satisfied with his work and would like to recommend the company to our friends.

They were extremely responsive when I called in for an estimate (on Sunday) after a section of my roof blew off in the wind storm and scheduled me for work the next day. It put my mind to rest knowing the work would be completed before the next rain. They were prompt and courteous. I would use them again and I have already recommended them to a friend.

Rob contacted me to see what services were needed. Explained the recent winds had blown shingles off of the roof,I estimated 5 were missing. We set up an appointment for a Monday between 2-4.. He arrived a few minutes early we spoke briefly and he went to work. He replaced the missing shingles, way more that five, and caulked around the roof vents and inspected the roof. After completing the repairs we went over what he had done. What was especially nice was he never mentioned replacing the roof. If I need additional repair work or need to replace the roof he'll be the first person I call. Price was very fair for the work done.

Rick Campbell was the project manager. He came out and provided an estimate on same day I called. Work was scheduled for a few days afterward, and it was completed in a single complete work day as promised. Work site was clean, and I appreciated the attention to making sure no debris went down my gutters/underground pipes. Rick then walked the site with me the next day. I appreciated how they explained what was and wasn't warranted, and this was all very fair. As it's raining now, I went up into the attic and can confirm they correctly fixed the problem. Rick also left a few leftover shingles in case I'd ever need them. Excellent work and much appreciated.

Rob's company was very punctual ---- I hired them Friday afternoon and they were out the following Monday to make the repairs. They did a very nice job, and took photos and emailed to me at work so I could see the repairs without climbing up on the roof. I would recommend this company and use them again.

Fantastic! I called and left a message around February 10th (they were on vacation). Robert got in touch with me on the 17th and then came out and gave me an estimate. The estimate was $1290 for 280 linear feet of gutter plus the downspouts and then $3.50 per linear foot for any facia board that needed to be replaced. That sounded good to me so I signed them up to come do the work. I spoke with Robert once more who let me know that Rick would be calling to set up a time and day to do the install. I spoke with Rick on the 25th and we agreed to have the work done today, the 27th between 8:30am and 9:00am. Rick was right on time and super friendly. He walked me around the house showing me what would be done, got my opinion on where to put the new downspouts and talked about the facia board and my concerns about some of it being rotted away. While we were talking, the guys who were to do the work, Jos? and another gentleman (he was a man of few words so I didn't get his name) had already started unloading the trailer to get ready to start the work. My Christmas lights were still up (don't judge me! Haha) and needed to be replaced so I told the guys they could just tear them down and not to worry about being careful. Jos? and his coworker got to work tearing out the old gutters and Rick and I followed along behind to inspect the facia board so that he could point out any pieces that needed to be replaced. There were way fewer spots than I had expected and Rick was extremely honest about what needed to be replaced and what didn't. Rick left to attend to family duties and Jos? and his coworker worked on. Let me tell you that these guys were the most quiet, efficient, hardworking and no nonsense guys I have seen in a long time! At one point, I had to leave to run an errand and I let them know as I was on my way out. When I returned, I told them I was back and it was obvious that they never stopped working while I was gone. Jos? showed me one little spot that he needed my opinion on and after that, they just kept on going until it was all done. Rick came back and walked around with me again while the guys finished putting the downspouts on. Rick cleaned my yard of all paint and wood and gutter debris and even the old leaves from the gutter. Jos? and his coworker had already neatly stacked the Christmas lights and the old gutter screens in my trash can and had already loaded up the old gutter and downspouts. My yard looks better than it did before they got here. Jos? and his coworker packed up, collected their things, said their goodbyes and went on to another job. I never saw them take a break at all and even though they had music playing while they worked, I never heard it until I was standing right next to them. For as noisy as this kind of work should be, these guys really made an effort to be as quiet as possible. Rick and I settled the bill which ended up only being $1220 ($1290 for the gutters and downspouts, $30 for the facia board and I had a $100 coupon from Angie's List). Rick told me that the guys replaced more of the facia board than he expected in one area so he didn't charge me for the extra wood. As we were settling up, my neighbor drove by and hollered 'Looking good' in reference to my new gutters. She had a negative experience with having her own gutters installed so I asked Rick for a business card to pass on to her. All-in-all, it took them maybe 7 hours to remove the old gutters and install the new ones and I paid less than I was originally quoted due to the coupon. I HIGHLY recommend using these guys if you need any work done. They are an awesome group of men, truly pleasant and respectful, easygoing and hardworking and very reasonably priced. I wish all of my experiences with home repairs were as smooth and as pleasant as this one.

I contacted the company through Angie's List online to set up an appointment. We had some drops of moisture on our ceiling, after a recent downpour of rain. Rick came out, and saw the spots in our ceiling. He determined that it was from a ridge vent, or from nails holding down the ridge vent were coming out, allowing moisture to come into the home. Due to the snow, rain and other conditions, at the time he was not able to get on the roof. He gave me a quote for vent replacement, and suggested the maintenance package, which has his crew go over the other vent ridges and seal the nails, hopefully preventing them from allowing moisture in the holes. On Angie's List, there was a 10% off promotion for a maintenance package, putting the cost at $275, and the ridge vent costing $80, we went with Robert Stevens Roofing company. The company came out on 2/1, and replaced the ridge vent, and went over the other ridge vents to ensure they were properly sealed. Overall, the service provided was as expected. The original quote was a little higher than I thought was appropriate, but with the Angie's List promotion, it got it closer to what I thought was a fair price. The quality of work, the fairness in price, the response time in getting back to me through A.L's website and the feeling that Robert Stevens was a reputable company were all factors why I chose to move forward with their company.

Excellent. Robert is very responsive and his price was very fair. The work crew were very efficient. He also took care in the placement of the downspouts.

The roofers arrive promptly in the morning and finished the roof in 3 days. Robert was very professional and ensured the work was performed properly and the area around the house was cleaned up when the job was complete. My only negative was there were only 3 workers so it took 3 days. Would have preferred additional workers so job was complete in a day.

Very easy and pleasant to work with. We appreciated the time they spent prior to installation, providing information and answering questions, which helped us to make decisons on type of shingles and colors to select. Our neighbors and we were amazed at the speed at which they worked. The installers were focused and attentive to detail. They worked consistently until the job was completed and cleaned up our property nicely before leaving. A final inspection was conducted with us, which we appreciated. Several neighbors have stopped by to tell us how much they like our new roof! We highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again for future jobs, such as gutters. In addition, they provide a free 10-year warranty on their work, and that is always a plus.

They gave us the lowest estimate out of the gate, other companies were up to two times as high as them. They stuck to the estimate. They worked fast. They were clean. They were great to work with The communication was fantastic and they exceeded any expectations I had.

He was very good and did a good job. What I liked the most about it was that I did not have to replace the entire roof. He got back to us right away and was efficient. He was efficient to get us the invoice and the invoice got paid today. He is quick, get the job done and the invoice is done. I don't have a basis of reference to judge the price because I have never had a roof caulked before. To me, any price short of replacing the roof was okay. My husband dealt with him directly.

Everything went very smoothly. The worker inspected our roof and advised on what to do to fix the holes. He showed us some of holes we could see from the ground and described the process to fix them. He quoted a very reasonable price and we agreed to have him do the work. Everything was very professional and we are very pleased with the result.

The overall experience was exceptional and provided the highest degree of customer service. When I first called Robert I left a message and he promptly called me back. I explained to him the situation and he was able to make it out within a couple of days, as opposed to other larger roofing companies who told me it would take up to two weeks. Robert came out to my house and ensured the shingles were properly replaced and didn't leave until I was entirely satisfied. His prices were just as good, if not better, than the other companies but with much better customer service. He also gave me a military discount, which was nice. I would highly recommend this handy roofer for any roofing need. I cannot say enough great things about my experience.

Two layers of existing roofing were replaced with new shingles. Also had the gutter on the rear of the house replaced. With the amount of rain recently, the work was delayed but that was not a problem. Communication was very good.

Great to deal with. Rick Campbell was friendly and easy to talk to. The job was done quickly and professional. No fuss. No muss. In addition to gutter replacement, they cleaned the roof and also checked to see if there is any maintenance required or not. Overall I am very satisfied with the results and will definitely use again.

The inspector took his time assessing and gave us several options ranging in price for fixing the roof.

We left a voice message for Mr. Stevens, and he returned the call the same day. He offered to come out and take a look and take pictures of the roof. If we were not home when he came, he would send the pictures by email. After I explained that I had pictures already, I emailed a picture, and he promptly emailed an estimate. The estimate seemed reasonable based on a previous estimate from another contractor. When I asked via email about his availability, again he responded promptly. We did not use Mr. Stevens because a friend who is a contractor offered to repair the roof for free. If we need a roof work done again, we will certainly call Robert D. Stevens Roofing.

We felt the cost was too much for such a small job. The money I paid included $100.00 in repairs - I thought that would cover 2 shingles!
