Robert Stevens Roofing

Did not receive a reply to my inquiry for an estimate after calling this roofer.

During the initial appt in Feb, Rick was very professional explaining the installation process, the material set options, and several upgrade suggestions (ie replace box vents with ridge vents etc). After reviewing multiple quotes, we selected Rick based on the best overall value package. Per his Feb scheduling estimate, our job occurred in late April. The workers arrived on time and worked most of the day with just a few breaks. The job was completed, including clean up, in just over a day and a half. The extra materials were picked up the next day. The best part was that Rick was periodically on the job site during the morning and afternoon. This was our first roof replacement and we really appreciated his patience answering our questions. The entire experience was very positive.

Everything went great! He was quick to answer and squeezed us in the schedule. Everything was reasonably priced and we haven't had any issues since! He will definitely be out go-to for any roofing needs moving forward!

Best service I have had in some time. As a realtor, I had an urgent situation. Rick came out the very next day and did a thorough evaluation of the roof and took photos, etc. Very personable and customer service focused. I will use them for all my future roofing needs.

Rick was excellent to work with from start to finish. I found him to be honest and professional. He answered all our questions and managed his crews well. He is committed to quality service and stands behind his work with a 10 year warranty for a new roof and 2 years for gutters. All the workers were polite and hard-working. He strives to satisfy his customers, and I have recommended and will continue to recommend him to other home-owners.

This contractor was contacted in early August 2017, and during our 5 minute phone call indicated they would return my call to set up an appointment, and never followed up nor returned future calls. Perhaps they are not interested in working with customers that have to involve their insurance companies? If you are not interested in a job it would be more professional to simply state that. I have since entered into contract with a competing reputable roofer, who is replacing our roof and gutter system.

I could see no apparent issues, but I wanted a professional to have a look. I called Robert D. Stevens based on their reputation and location and I got an estimate scheduled. Rick gave me a call about three hours before the estimate letting me know he was in the neighborhood and could be here in a few minutes if it worked for me. It did. Rick took a look and came back down the ladder with a photo on his phone: there was no problem with the roof - just a hole from rotted wood on the old gable vent under the eaves. He showed me the photo and recommended a carpenter for the work. He came out, climbed up my roof, diagnosed the problem and asked for nothing in return. That is the free-est estimate I've ever even heard of and I used to work at Angie's List. I hope Rick reads this... and lots of other homeowners. I'm keeping your card somewhere safe. If your crew is as honest as you are, then you have quite an honorable outfit.

Very well. The work was completed in a day and a half and the leak was successfully located and repaired. Rick was professional, honest, and made sure the work was done well. They also did a nice job cleaning up after themselves and making sure there were no nails or debris left in the yard. I would recommend this company to anyone.

It was great! We weren't in any hurry and let them know when we purchased. It took a few weeks to schedule and I ended up having him come while I was at work. I requested any photos and suggestions for repairs be sent to me via email. Overall I just wanted to make sure everything was ok after the storms we'd had. The guy that called was really nice and I would definitely call to book them again in the future!

Rick was very helpful in answering all of my questions, provided photos of roof issues before and after he fixed them and spent some time trying to help troubleshoot an intermittent leak we have had near one of the skylights. Since the roof looked good on the outside and the ceiling is tongue-and-grooved wood on the inside, this was not an easy task! He confirmed that the skylights hadn't been sized correctly and may be the cause of the issue. He also thought it may be an issue with a hole in the chimney flashing above the skylight so he sealed that area and we hoped for the best! Unfortunately, we had a subsequent leak (when the wind is strong enough and blows from the wrong direction) and are now planning to have the skylights replaced hoping this will fix the issue and look more aesthetically pleasing once the 2x6 "shims" the previous contractor installed on the inside are removed!

I contracted this company as I needed a complete, sizable roof. My only knowledge of Robert Stevens Roofing was what I read and studied on Angie's List. I was up against prospective bad weather when the job was started. The work was initiated and completed in 4 days as projected. Rick and the crew were efficient, punctual, diligent and courteous. Rick was on hand to supervise the job to insure that it was done professionally. The finished product was as I expected and has withstood the recent torrential, inclement weather. I would definitely use his company again and recommend it to my neighbors.

We were very pleased with the entire process of replacing our roof. Rick was very responsive in providing an estimate and was willing to work with us on timing of our job as we needed to rebuild our chimney before replacing the roof. He actually contacted me to see if our chimney was done before I had a chance to contact him. He had two crews working on our roof to get the job done in one day to avoid rainy spring weather. Would definitely call Robert D. Stevens Roofing again!

It was a terrific deal. Cheryl in the office was very nice to work with to set up the appointment. I had some scheduling issues and she worked around them. Rick was there within the time window I had been given and looked very professional and pleasant. He was very quick about his work and provided pictures to show the minor repairs he addressed. We will definitely contact this company if we need their services in the future.

We were very pleased with the service they provided and would absolutely recommend them. Rick was very present throughout the process and kept us updated as the work progressed. he was very flexible with the scheduling. Just a great guy to work with. We plan to have them back later this Summer to do some siding work.

Rick did a great job working with me and moving back the start date of the roofing project. He is very professional and has a great team that did a quality job. They left no trace that they were on my property.
