The hacked up the Invisible Fence and we had to redo their fixes.

The service has been good. They are particular about getting the proper stuff done which I appreciate.

The man was difficult to get a hold of. He would not call back promptly. One issue we had was there was a guarantee that if any of the bushes that they planted died, there would be a $100 credit. We called to report a bush that had died, and we never heard back. The mowing was average at best. He's a young, nice guy but he needs someone to help him on the business side. We would not use them again.

The quality of the mowing was poor and inconsistent. The mowing crew was not well managed. One week they would bag, as I paid for, and the next week they would not. I got no refund or credit for the weeks that were not bagged (even though the price is more for bagging). They also did not consistently mow the entire yard (outside of the fence) and I was paying for a full yard mow. No money was credited to my account for these issues either, when they were reported directly to the owner's voicemail. He very rarely answered. The mowing crew repeatedly left my gates open, and my dogs almost escaped twice, until I had to check my gates every time I knew they mowed (which was also inconsistent) to ensure they were closed prior to letting my dogs out in what is supposed to be a secure yard. When I would give this feedback to the owner with the gates, there were no consistent responses to me directly, and I continued to have more issues. When I did get a response, it was filled with excuses, including that the owner was not directly supervising the mowing crew or he had a new crew. I did not intend to hire them back for this next year because their service was terrible. I would much rather pay more for a reputable, consistent, and professional mowing company. The owner just sent out letters about "downsizing" and that I would not be continued this year for service. He did not identify why I was being removed for the list (I was not intending to use them again anyway), but I wonder if some of the choices of who to no longer offer services to was related to the number of times I had to call to complain about repeated issues.

We have been very pleased with the quality of service. This last summer we noticed some workers were trimming our grass too low leaving bald spots. Jordan was very attentive to the concern and quick to remedy it. They have shown weekly consistency for 3 summers. During the drought last summer they checked to see if we wanted the lawn mowed first sharing their concern for the grass. We plan to continue using their services and highly recommend them. The price, dependability and desire for customer satisfaction are wonderful.

They told us that they would come back to repair the sprinkler, and they never did. It is now October, and the replacement has still not taken place. I have contacted them numerous times, and they have stopped responding. I also need them to come out to shut down my irrigation system before the winter, but I am having no luck contacting them. I need my sprinkler head replaced, and also a decision made on whether or not they will be able to come out and shut down my irrigation system.

Initial work was done on time. When original sod was laid it was brown from the start. We were told it would turn green within days. All plants and work had a 1 year warranty as stated on the invoice. Invoice was paid on completion of work. 2 Burning bushes have died and 1 lilac bush, Sod is still brown and dead. We have left numerous voice mails... Have gone to the business address on the invoice and intenet..it is his parents house. NO return phone calls.. Phone is never aswered live...(calls are screened) Follow up service is non existent. We are filing in small claims court DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ....PERIOD.......

Since this is an ongoing service, I will just say that we have had no problems for the two years we have had it.

What an amazing job! Jordan Riley's design and the artistry of his firm are incredible. The rains delayed the construction for what seemed like forever, but once the clouds cleared, the installation could not have gone smoother. The patio's floor boasts an intricate design of six different blocks of varying sizes in two colors with a brick border and a 2 1/2' sitting wall with stunning caps all around and lovely lighting. It is far more beautiful than we imagined. The attention to detail in the corners, the angles that match perfectly; this is an example of real craftsmanship. Gary and Joe were professional, polite, and obviously masters of their technique. Every block was individually laid and leveled; it was a painstaking job that they never wavered in doing to the utmost. Strangers show up in our backyard frequently and we are more than happy to show them this stunning piece of work. Make sure to check out the pictures; they are worth a thousand words. This is our second experience with Jordan's landscaping, and we have a third in the works. I highly recommend this firm.

I contacted Riley's Lawn Service through their website by submitting a request for an estimate. They called me a couple of days later (a Thursday) and set up an appointment with me for that Saturday at 4:00 p.m. to obtain an estimate from them. They never showed up or called. I would understand if something came up, but there is no excuse for not calling. I guess they do not want my business. I have since hired Ponce Patios to perform the work.

They started well last year but after that the quality of their job went down. The owner never replays to your phone calls especially if he realizes that are complaints. They were supposed to fertilize my lawn but actually my lawn looks horrible and he always come up with some excuses. They never edged the lawn and the mowing was always done in rush even after rains, so in some part the lawn has been damaged. He should take more care of his customers if he want to be still in business for long time.

They did perhaps two applications of fertilizer and weed control and one application of lime after they did a soil test. This was perhaps late April. They haven?t been back since. I?ve called them 3-4 times and haven?t received any return calls. I was happy with the service last year. This year the services were not provided in a timely manner in my opinion. I thought it was very unprofessional and discourteous to just stop providing services that they had agreed to in person and had started performing. I had no idea whether they were going to continue or if I had to make other arrangements and now it?s too late to do some of the things I was planning.

The price was very reasonable. I had checked around and it was also very good grade black mulch, which is a little more expensive. They were very, very reasonably priced for the mulch and the work they did. They did a good job. I would most definitely use them again.

Great disappointment. Totally unprofessioinal company.

I contacted Riley's to mow my mother's yard since she was unable to do it herself going forward. She has a large yard and the price they charge for mowing was very reasonable. They mow "as-needed" for my mom which means if the grass is not long enough to cut, they schedule to check on it the following week. This is great because she does not feel like she is going to be paying to have her grass cut every 10 days or so regardless of the length (say if we have a bad drought and it does not grow). The mowing crews are very professional, do a great job and are efficient. A great experience overall!

Instead of using blowers, they raked in the bed and shredded my pachysandras bed and pulled it all up. They told me that it would grow back quickly. It has yet to grow back and it look horrible. I tried calling numerous times and they are yet to return a call.

Great job! They are always professional and reliable. We've used other lawn services in the past and Riley's is definitely the best overall and his fees are very reasonable.

They were reasonable. They were good and I give them the highest ratings on all categories.

Their prices were fair. They did exactly what I asked him to do.

Amazing. Jordan transformed our backyard with a plan that sailed through out homeowners association review board without one comment, something that rarely happens. The price was great; our previous estimate was $20,000. Jordan did it for $7,200. We met Jordan when we needed help with our lawn NOW: in-laws arriving and broken lawnmower. He was at our house the next day. He is one of the most conscientious, polite, hard-working young men we ever met. We've already had him plan a new patio which his company will install in the spring. I highly recommend Riley's Lawn Service.

Supreme service from the start. Jordan sprayed poison ivy and came back to physically pull all weeds and poison ivy from our hills. He also removed several small scrub trees. His crew was fabulous and friendly. They went above and beyond what I expected (having had bad experiences before with contractors). The work was completed in about four separate trips. Jordan wanted to be sure that the spray was absorbed properly by the poison ivy before pulling all of it. Would highly recommend and will continue to use their services.

The guys missed two large bushes in the front the first time, but Jordan had them come back out pretty quickly. I understand that its their busy season, and you could tell they were busy. They carried away all the trimmings.

I had forgotten about setting up lawn maintenance while we were away, so I went with the first one to give me a decent price. They did not come out to evaluate the yard before quoting. According to our house-sitter, they arrived on the first day of our vacation, even though I had told them that we had just mowed the lawn and it would not need to be cut again for a few days. The next week it rained and they claimed they were not able to get to our yard because of the rain (although, by the looks of things, our neighbors had no such trouble...). When we returned from vacation, the lawn was overgrown. I called to complain and to make sure they would come one last time because we had not yet picked up our mower from the repair shop. They mowed the lawn and weed-whacked where necessary, but I don't think they actually paid attention to what they were doing. The lawn suffered from being allowed to over-grow and then getting cut very short. In at least two areas of our yard where the ground is uneven, their mower was set so low that it scalped the higher areas. Most of the yard has recovered, but I have several places where I will have to re-seed the scalped areas. They were quicker than the other places at calling me back and their price was in the range I expected, but their quality was not. They did not charge for the week that they did not come out.

Their price was excellent. He was very good at doing things my way. He cut and edged the lawn the way I wanted him to. He was also easy to talk to.

He was very prompt with responding to my phone call. He provided the estimate within 24 hours, and I was very pleased with that.
