Renewal by Andersen of Indiana

They seem like the nicest windows out of all the estimates I got. But 4 times as expensive. Crazy! I will not pay almost $20,000 for windows when the other estimates where substantially less. He did the thing where he held up a heat lamp first against my currant window and then against his window sample and I felt like it was just a scare tactic. I couldn't see what he was doing on the otherside of the heat lamp, was there a switch that controlled the heat level. I'm not saying he did anything unethical but that was a big turn off for me.

Kurt came out and measured my windows. told me to go to the show room. he did not leave any brochures etc. All the other window companies show me samples etc. I will not be .going with this company.

We are quite satisfied with them. The windows are wonderful. They went above-and-beyond. They were here one day and it started raining and I thought, oh my gosh, I am going to be without windows the rest of the day but they were just as efficient taking the old windows off as they were putting the new windows on there. The price was pretty much in line with the other people. The quality is very good. They were punctual, they were here when they said they would be here, they called us beforehand. They were very professional and they cleaned everything up and everything was really good.

They did very well. I will use them again in the future.

I didn't have a great experience, I had a workman who weren't doing a good job but I don't know that it's the company overall, they did try to rectify it,that my opinion is not of the highest quality,but I don't have anything to compare it to. I would not probably use them in the future.

They have done fine. We are very happy with the windows.

Everything is fine. This was the second time that we used them and they do fine. The first time they replaced all of the windows on the lower floor and then this time they replaced all of the windows and sliding glass doors on the upper floor. They have always been on time, quick at it and did a nice job. I think they are great. I have no complaints with them at all. I would recommend them.

This company sells only one brand of window and all they care about is getting your signature and your money. Of course they will tell you that Andersen is the best window because that is all they sell. We fell for their pitch and bought in for half of our windows. The installation was fine for the most part. The inside sills were all damaged (from the prior windows.) This was supposed to be ok with us and maybe we agreed to it in all of the paperwork that we signed. The customer service that we received post-install was horrible. HORRIBLE. One window that was installed had too much hardware for the spot it was placed. We wanted Andersen to change it out for another style window AT OUR EXPENSE. They already had the measurements, we knew what we wanted to replace it with and we were willing to pay completely for it to be replaced. First, I could not get a return phone call from the rep. This went on for a few weeks. After calling every day, all of a sudden they had a three window minimum to do any work. WHAT? My husband had to call the regional manager for the rep to call me back and give me this great news. Bottom line was that they didn't care one bit that we weren't happy. Not one bit. They had already increased the quoted price once when we added this window at the last minute. As angry as I was, they actually did me a favor by sending me to Mr. Window. If you have windows to replace, call Mr. Window. They were happy to come out for ONE window, offer me several different options, come out a second time to make sure that we ordered the right color and offer customer service that exceeded expectation. I called the Corporate Renewal by Andersen customer service manager and was not called back until a second phone call and four days had passed. I can only assume that they don't need our business or are so arrogant that they don't feel the need to worry about competition. Well, they do. Their product is NOT the best for every need and even if it were I would NEVER spend another dollar with them because of their lack of respect for my satisfaction. If someone from Renewal by Andersen comes to your door, don't answer or at least don't do business with them. They will be GONE after you sign and pay. This has been my worst homeowner's experience to date. We've owned six homes and have been homeowners for 25 years. Worst customer service experience EVER.

First, the salesman, Jason Rummell was exceptional. I really hadn't planned on the purchase that quickly, but he was knowledgeable and professional not to mention "no pressure", I was truly convinced this was the way to go. I committed within 2 days of the initial call. Next came the measuring appointment, which was quick and painless, followed by a few follow up calls which demonstrated to me their attention to detail! When the installation day came, the men were so quiet and focused that I barely knew anyone was there. It was an amazing experience all the way around and though one would expect that for such a high cost project, it still exceceded my expectaions. The end result are lovely windows that make me happy every time I look at them. Thanks Renewal by Andersen!

I would recommend the quality of the actual product. They're very nicely made. They made a pretty immediate difference in the noise level and in terms of heat loss. The price was good. They were very good about scheduling and showing up when they agreed to show up.

The quote was actually based on the carry-over pricing from a previous job from another company which we had the contract with. They held the pricing from the initial job two years ago. It was certainly a good and welcome approach. They were very upfront and willing to work with us on the quote. It was good. They stuck out to have the best combination of the price and the product.

Renewal by Andersen was amazing, from our first consultation with our sales rep to the very last window being installed. They were professional, courteous , and informative. Our sales rep Jason Rummel was there for us 24/7. If I had a question or needed anything Jason was there with an answer. Jason gave us professional advice on window style and configuration, and then showed us a pre project simulation of what the windows would look like in our home. Once we ordered the windows they arrived in no time to be installed. The installation team was wonderful. They were on time , professional , and clean throughout the entire project. Renewal by Andersen worked with us every step of the way from style to pricing. We had a great experience and most importantly received a quality product . Our windows look amazing and drastically change the environment in our home.

Everyone I had contact with in this company was polite, helpful and professional. Jason the sale representative was on time and was well prepared. He explained everything in detail in terms that I understood. I had other window companies who provided lower prices but I chose Anderson because I liked the product and they used no outside contractors. Renewal by Anderson owns the process from start to finish and beyond. The person that did the measurements was prompt and was very helpful with additional information. He had experience with old houses and assured me that the windows would look great. I called a couple of weeks after placing my order to add the Tru-Scene screens and to change my install date. It was no problem, they were very accommodating. The installers, Andy and Rob were on time on the day of installation. Andy walked me through the process and answered all my questions and concerns. He asked me about the trim choices I had made and he explained the other choice and then he dry-fitted both choices of trim to two windows so I had an actual visual of the choices. And he was correct that the other choice was much more pleasing than the trim I had chosen. I realized that Andy's 15 years of experience was very valuable. At the end of the installation Andy patiently instructed me on the operation of the windows. They were very neat and very fast. They installed 12 windows in seven hours. Jason the sale rep called as soon as the installation was complete to make sure that everything went smoothly. The windows are beautiful and the Tru-Scene screens are nearly invisible, (they are amazing, well worth the extra cost). This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a remodeling project. I highly recommend Renewal by Anderson to my all neighbors.

We got a call the on 11 SEP 2014 (the day before the install) to tell us that our door and window would not be installed on the 12th because they were not received from the factory. My wife and I had already taken vacation days off for the install date and those were lost. We rescheduled for the next time that we could possibly have them installed on 17 OCT 2014 to give them plenty of time to receive the window and door so we could assure that they would install on the planned date. My wife and I once again took days off and rearranged the house so the workers could get to the work areas and Andersen called 30 minutes before the installers were to arrive and cancelled again. This company is unorganized and has no concern for their customers and the inconvenience that their lack of planning and ability to delivery can cause. 2 months after our order, we still do not have our window and door but we are out vacation days that are in short supply. I will be in process of attempting to get a refund of my 50% down that they have had for months, however we may be locked into the contract with them despite the horrible service. Update 28 OCT 2014 When the Andersen called to cancel our install on our installation date, they promised that the GM would be in contact with me to assist us and that was also stated in their response to this review. It has been well over a week since they cancelled my install (30 minutes before they were to show up) and no one from Andersen has made any effort to contact us. Update 6 NOV 214 3 weeks after they unexpectedly cancelled on our installation for the second time and promised that the GM would contact us, we have still heard nothing from the company.

We had a very good luck with them. Technically, it wasn't them though it was the Andersen Renewal division that replaced the window. We have not had one problem with that window since it was replaced. They took care of all the problems. The window has performed extremely well and we're very happy with it.
