Description of Work: Replaced 7 windows, 6 of which were large sunroom windows. Pricey, but appear to be of excellent quality. Crew was great.

Description of Work: Gave a 4 hour sales pitch that could have been done in 45 min. They do this to hype up how great their window is. You can find just as good and better windows for 75% less. For 9 Windows to be replaced they wanted $19,000 then they said if you did it within 30 days they would drop the price to $13,000, or if I signed today it would be $12,000. That speaks volumes how high they are and their ridiculous prices. They also tell you percentages, standards, and numbers that aren't accurate when I did the research on earning savings with energy savings. They have a good window just extremely overpriced! Also during the 4 hours when you ask for a price they change the subject and won't give you a price until they finish their sales pitch. I went with a different company and the windows that was voted number 1 by consumer reports and are a superior window. I paid $6,000 and got 20 year warranties that I reviewed and are solid.

Description of Work: They replaced four windows in our home. Did a complete and perfectly professional job. Cleaned up beautifully. Were completely respectful of us and of our home as they worked. It was a pricey job, but we got what we paid for. High quality windows and excellent service. We would definitely use them again if we need to replace more windows.

Description of Work: We had all the windows in our 1960's house replaced by Renewal by Andersen. We felt that the composite material was the best bang for the buck. Everyone that we dealt with were very professional and great to deal with. There was one window that had a flaw between the panes of glass. I pointed it out at install, and three weeks later they had a replacement put in. We do have a problem with a couple of our windows whistling when it's cool and the wind blows. Andersen assured us that in the fall when it gets cool again and they start making noise they will come out and assess the problem. Overall it was a very good experience and I would certainly recommend them in the future. As a matter of fact, I already have!

Description of Work: Wanted a quote to replace windows. Way over priced. Never followed up with a written quote. Did send a picture that was taken of his laptop screen with a cost estimate but I expected a more professional follow up. We went with a different company for the windows.

Description of Work: I received an unsolicited visit for this company at my home. The initial contact was to schedule an actual visit to review windows in my home and provide a quote. | |A few days later, a representative arrived as scheduled and spent about an hour measuring all the windows in my home. He then described the products and some of the purchasing options. He left, indicating that he would contact me within a few days to discuss the quote. | |A few days went by and I had no response, so I emailed/voicemailed the representative. He returned my call and wanted to speak with me in person regarding the quote. I indicated that my scheduled was pretty booked at the time, and asked if he would just email me the quote. He hesitated and indicated that he was required to go over the details of the quote in person, adding that they would not be the lowest cost provider. | |I said that was not an issue for me, and to email it anyway. Never heard another word. | |A few weeks later, I get a call from a corporate office / call center out of state for Renewal by Andersen. They were following up on my "experience" and wanted to know why I hadn't scheduled time with the representative. I told them my story and said I was very interested in the windows, but simply would like their rep to email me a quote based on the windows he measured at my home. | |Never heard another word from them either. My suspicion is that their business model is to get you to sign a contract in person by offering some kind of "today only" discount in order to pressure you into committing. I get suspicious of that kind of approach...if the company wants my business, they can at least provide a quote in writing upon request. I research products on the internet before I buy (especially something as expensive as whole house replacement windows), and I really liked the product...just not the people trying to sell it. | |Over all, it was a frustrating waste of my time. As a side note, the guy that measured my windows was not a full time employee...he came to my house driving a company car for his herbal supplement business...with window samples in the trunk.

Description of Work: There are multiple dates for the work. Part A of the work was done in March of last year and part B was done in October of last year. They also did some follow-up work after that. They replaced windows for us. There were quality control issues at the factory, and had to two to three follow-ups to repair a minor part, and to buff out marks on the bottom sill.

Description of Work: We love our sliding patio door, we were impressed with noise reduction and also our savings on heat loss. Price was a little high but we feel the installation and clean up helped in justifying the cost. Our only issue was that our order was lost and therefore we were delayed in our installation.
