The price he quoted me over the phone the was cost he charged me when the job was completed. The systems he installed has proved effective beyond expectations. I did a self radon test which came back 12 with 4 being acceptable. Just days after the installation of the new system the test came back below 1. He went above and beyond cleaned up after the work was completed.

Radon Technology e-mailed a proposal for the work to be done after speaking with us by phone. In his proposal, he even included proof of license from Indiana for the work that he was doing. He arrived when scheduled and completed the job within 4 hours. A retest of the radon levels over a period of 3 days after 24 hours from installation revealed that the radon level had decreased to a .5 level (vs. the original level of 8).

Tim did a great job. He did the repair the same day he came out to estimate and was finished in about 5 hours. Cleaned up afterwards and charged what he estimated.

Tim was very pleasant on the phone. He gave us a quote of approximately $750 over the phone. He showed up on time and explained our options. He had to be able to vent the gas from the basement to the outside and gave us three different options of where the pipe would be and where the hold would have to be cut. We chose an option that hid the pipe in the garage understanding that it would cost a little more. It actually cost $820 after taking off $25 for the Angie's List coupon. However, we still feel like we got a good deal because we were able to hide everything as much as possible. He worked for several hours and did a great job. He is very nice and friendly. We were very thankful he took the time to try and find the best option for us. The radon reading is now very low which makes us happy because we have a baby. We would highly recommend him.

Very thorough evaluation, offered two plans and explained which he preferred. Gave accurate estimate on price and made timely appointment, when he returned as scheduled, i.e., promptly. Work was completed and his monitoring equipment as well as mine confirmed a seven fold reduction in radon, well below EPA standards. Exceedingly pleasant, thorough, and honest.

Tim had put in a radon reduction system for me in my current home and I was very satisfied with his work. I have a second home which is 55-years-old and has radon levels exceeding 10. I explained the location of the sump pump and house layout to Tim over the phone and he gave me a cost estimate in the range of $750 to $800. He came out less than a week later and put in the system in about 5 hours. Like my previous experience with Tim, he was very knowledgeable, courteous and very customer-service oriented. He patiently answered all my questions and was very upfront on costs. For the cost of the system, he settled on the $750 figure and threw in the Angie's List discount to make it $725. He guarantees his installed system to achieve levels of 4 or less. I wanted to be at 2 or less and he explained the additional costs that may be needed to get to that level. As it turned out, the installed system achieved a level of 0.6 in the post testing! I highly recommend his services.

The install went very quick. He explained what was to be done and did everything in a timely manner. I will definitely use this company in the future if I run into more radon issues in other homes. It also got the radon level down to well below the normal levels within 3 days.

Very nice guy. We did an addition and the contractor removed the system and put it back on. It had issues that Tim tried to diagnose over the phone. He gave me a few ideas to try before he came out and charged me. I told him I'd rather have him come and look at it. He tried again to get me to try some things, but I wanted him to come, so he did. He was very professional.

Tim was very courteous and professional. He explained the reduction system thoroughly and worked quickly. He was in and out within a few hours, and was even very kind and gentle to my dog (who tends to think he needs to stick his nose in everyone's work). The Radon levels in our home were very high, and the system he installed lowered them to safe levels within 48 hours. Tim was very patient with me while trying to schedule a time to pick up the monitoring system. I never felt any pressure or stress while dealing with him. Overall, this was an outstanding experience.

Tim did a very fine job. His workmanship was excellent, and the radon level was reduced below the state guideline. Tim was very knowledgeable about radon reduction and was a pleasure to work with.

This went well. Only unexpected item was that it cost more to have system installed so that components not visible from outside the structure.

Tim was on time for our scheduled appointment. He told me on the telephone the basic method used for reducing unacceptable radon levels. He quoted a price for a direct ventilation system and one into the attic and through the garage roof. We elected the attic-roof installation because it did not require going above our second story roof line. The installation was not easy because we have a partial basement and partial crawl. He solved the problem and did a nice installation. He also installed a back up sump pump that I had because the sump pit was being sealed as part of the corrective measures. After a 56 hour test the equipment showed that the radon level had been lowered significantly and well below the acceptable level. A job well done and in line with the quote.

Tim was absolutely wonderful. He carefully explained what the options were and what the cost would be for each option. When the time came to perform the work, he did so flawlessly. Could not have had a better experience.

Tim knows his stuff, very helpful and of course knowledgeable. I know he would do a great job, just wanted to be around the $650 range, this may not be possible with his quality craftsmanship. Nice guy.

Tim installed a radon system. He always answered phone calls promptly, arrived when he said he would, and our radon level dropped from 7.1 to .6. His initial cost was $695, but when I asked him to let the system allow water into the sump pump from the basement, he added a device that would do that, no problem - I thought the cost was very reasonable.

Tim Hinojosa is a professional who knows his business. He does what he says and does it at the date and time promised. MY Radon level averaged 5.55 pCi/l(my independent measurement) before the system was installed and 0.8, by his measurements, after the system was installed. My independent measurement after the system was installed was 0.6. Tim does all the work himself so you have the consistency of his excellent work. I would definitely hire Tim for future work in this category.

We paid a little more to have the radon level guaranteed to less than 2.5, and we got it. Our radon level was 13.1 and Tim got it down to .4! He installed the system in just a few hours and left the house very clean. (Don't leave children or pets in the home if you have a slab - the noise and vibrations of the drilling is overwhelming!) We had to wait a little over a week from the time we phoned before Tim could do our installation (he was very busy at the time), but he was worth the wait. Very professional. We highly recommend this company.

TIM IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE RE: RADON MITIGATION. HE TOOK A LOT OF TIME EXPLAINING DIFFERENT WAYS OF INSTALLING SYSTEM. VERY HONEST, EVEN SENT ME BACK A $25.00 CHECK BECAUSE HE FORGOT MY ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT ON THE ORIGINAL INVOICE.

WENT ABOVE ALL EXPECTATIONS. RETURNED AND MADE ADJUSTMENTS & ADDITIONAL WORK THREE TIMES WITHOUT CHANGING ORIGINAL QUOTE. COULD NOT TELL HE WAS HERE AFTER WORK. CLEANED UP AFTER EACH TRIP. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

TIM VISITED OUR HOME AFTER WE SCORED A 3.2 ON OUR RADON TEST TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANYTHING THAT COULD BE DONE TO BRING THE LEVEL DOWN LOWER. WE ALREADY HAD A REMOVAL SYSTEM IN PLACE, BUT I WAS BOTHERED BY THE HIGH LEVEL (WITH A YOUNG BABY IN THE HOUSE). HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF EQUIPMENT, OR SUGGESTED A VARIETY OF 'SOLUTIONS', BUT HE INSTEAD SAID THAT REPLACING OUR OLD SUMP PUMP AND REMOUNTING IT SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

TIM INSTALLED A SUMP PUMP, AND BACK UP SUMP PUMP - AND FITTED A NEW LID TO TRY TO HELP REDUCE OUR RADON LEVELS. (OUR ONLY SUMP PUMP WAS 20 YEARS OLD- AND NOT MOUNTED PROPERLY & OUR RADON LEVELS WERE AT 3.2). HE EXPLAINED TO MY HUSBAND AND I HOW TO MAINTAIN OUR SYSTEM AND WHAT TO LOOK FOR AS HE DID HIS WORK. HE LEFT EVERYTHING PERFECTLY CLEAN. HE PHONED ME 3 DAYS LATER TO LET ME KNOW OUR NEW RADON LEVELS WERE A 1.2!! I'M THRILLED TO SEE THIS REDUCTION.
