They immediately responded to my telephone inquiry and came out to give me an estimate. After I decided to have the system installed, they came at the exact time we had arranged and installed the system in four, or so, hours. They cleaned up after themselves and were always extremely polite and professional. Previous to having the system, we had radon positive numbers in the 8-9 range. After installation, the test showed a level of 1.0. They provided a booklet with pictures of the complete system after installation, a copy of the radon test results, guarantee and an explanation of the work. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this company.

Excellent, I could not have asked for a better company to do business with. These folks could be the poster child for how a company should do business.They were totally professional from start to finish and did exactly what they said they would do for the price quoted. They came out and gave a good description and price of what things were going to cost. They put it in pretty close to what they said they would. I was real happy with them. Their cost was reasonable. The guy that came out did a real nice and clean job. He was competent. I was pleasantly happy with it. They came out on time and it only took them 2-3 hours to do the work.

Very cordial working relationship, careful attention to our preferences, minimum mess and inconvenience. Radon measured in our basement family room was reduced from 16 to 1.2 pCi/l, well under the EPA recommended maximum of 4.

My original appointment (06/01/2010) had to be rescheduled because the technician got held up at another job. They came on 06/04/2010, and were on time and efficient.

A radon test was required as part of conditons for sale of our home; initial test came back above allowable levels for radon; Radon Environmental was recommended through our realtor's Home Link group; Jerod did an excellent job preparing the inital quote, answering all questions and scheduling the installation in an extremely timely fashion; he called and kept us informed as to any changes in the original appointment time; the installation technician, Chris, was prompt, polite and able to answer all questions; he determined the best location for the system and worked steadily to complete the job with minor disturbance to our home or schedule; a retest kit was provided and instructions on use given; a complete report was provided when the test results were returned; retest was well below required standard.

Chris Jordan called prior to his arrival. He reviewed the basement sump area, walls and general installation area plus the exterior of the house where the vent would be and discussed my desired options. Original estimated time to complete was four hours but Chris did an excellent job and finished ahead of schedule. He explained / answered every question to my satisfaction. The installation looks very professional and functional. Very pleased.

The seller of our home had a radon mitigation system installed by this company per our purchase agreement. The location of the system was not approved by us, as it should have been per our agreement. Radon Environmental came out after we moved in and moved our system where we wanted it. This allowed access to our sump pit and moved the exterior portion to a better location. They went out of their way to give us exactly what we wanted at a great price, when they were never in the wrong to begin with. This company provided some of the best customer service we have experienced in a long time! They were ahead of schedule, polite, and made us more than happy.

I highly recommend Radon Environmental should you detect radon in your home. Chris, the technician, knew how many pipes were necessary. He was careful to place them where they are not noticeable, even in our finished basement. We do not see the fans either or hear them. This is a reliable company you can trust. Besides their skill and knowledge of radon mitigation, they are honest, courteous, and pleasant. Overall, the servcie was excellent.

Our house already had a radon system when we moved in about two years ago. I did a radon test and found our levels were elevated (between 4 and 6 pCi/L). I did not have information on who originally installed our radon system, so I called Radon Environmental to see what we could do. Chris from Radon Environmental came out and tested our system and found that it wasn't drawing well. He also noted that the outside exhaust was installed incorrectly (too low and too close to a window) and that the fan size in our system was not ideal. He thought he could fix the problem by digging a bigger suction pit for the system but noted that an additional suction line might be necessary. We have an unfinished basement with a dirt crawl space that extends about 1/3 of the floor space, so we decided to seal that. He thought that would help with the radon and noted that it would help with allergies as well. When he came to do the work, he was able to fix it without adding another suction line, which saved us money. Radon Environmental was experienced, friendly, prompt, and professional. I recommend them without hesitation.

They were very good and a matter of fact, my husband made a comment that he had to go online and fill out a report on them. We spent $795 on the job. The guy that came out and did the work was very nice, clean and knowledgeable about what he needed to do. He was professional and worked independently. That day I happened to have 5 contractors here and I showed him where basic information was what he needed. He went about his business, knew what he needed to do and did not need much guidance on my part. He was very pleasant to work with and also knew the laws and regulation related to his work.

We are very happy with what the company did. We like their professionalism, how he did the job and how he explained what the system was about. He convinced us it was a good thing to do. There wasn't anything about it that we didn't like.

It basically takes the radon out of the house. Radon comes up out of the ground and it is attached to the pit where our sump pump is and it sucks it outside. We had tested for radon with a kit when we had moved in a few years ago and it was borderline. When our neighbor behind us had an inspection done, they told them that it was high. We thought it theirs was high and we can see their house, then ours can't be much different. We thought that we would rather be safe so we had it put in. They didn't actually test for the radon before they put it in; we just decided to go ahead and do it. The gentleman that came out was very professional and did his work quickly. He cleaned up his mess and was neat. He did a great job.

I really though that they responded quickly and they gave me a pretty good price. They also give warranty that the radon will be below a certain level. I requested for a quote on the internet, and I got the quote the same day.

I liked the way they came in and solved the problem. I felt their price was appropriate. I had no problems with them.

From the office (Kathy and Rich) to the field team (Chris and Rusty), everyone was very straightforward, very easy to talk with. There were no surprises, no places where we felt like we got less than promised. We're optimistic about the system; we like the installation. We will not know until November (our house gets seriously polluted from November to February) if the pollution in the house goes down as much as we hope. Radon-Environmental guarantees a maximum of 4 pC/l any time of year, and that measurement would also reflect a much lower level of other gases for our house (average last winter was about 7.5 for radon, and other gases would make our eyes water). This system is expensive, but we think it will take us to three or four times better than before, where a basic fan exhaust system (maybe $800) in the crawl might be twice as good. Since we're staying in the house for maybe 3 decades, it is probably a good investment. Radon-Environmental is the only well-thought-of company we found that does this full system. It would also probably bump up resale value better than any system, because the white, 12 mil barrier looks so clean and neat, and feels so strong. It feels like a basement, though of course with only 30 inches of height. Their pricing is based strictly on square footage -- they don't come out and cost-out the job. That probably works against houses like ours with relatively easy crawl spaces. But we think the workability of the system in this case is more important than the price, and there wasn't anyone we could find to offer an estimate on the same type of system. This company definitely knows their stuff'; the installation and materials were good in all respects. Rich's idea to put a manifold up by the joist, which we could adjust manually, was simple and brilliant, and cheap. It suggests he really understands houses and physics. And listens to customers. Radon-Environmental scheduled the job quickly, came right on time, answered all questions, and did the job in a day. A refreshing thing -- they left nothing behind -- no tools, dirty bathroom, cigarette butts, etc. We did not have to point out their one mistake -- forgetting to seal around the pipe that comes through the band joist. Rusty caught that and addressed it as he made his final inspection.

Their service was excellent. They are very knowledgeable; there is no pressure for other services or repairs.

IT WAS A REALLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THEIR PRICE WAS FAIR. AT THE RE TESTING THE LEVEL HAD FALLEN BELOW PCI OVER /L.

I SPOKE TO THE OWNER WHO GAVE ME A QUOTE AND A GUARANTEE. SHE PROMISED THE RADON LEVEL WOULD BE BELOW 2 FOR 5 YEARS. I CALLED BACK TO ASK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE RADON LEVEL WENT ABOVE 2 IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS. SHE THEN STRESSED TO ME THAT SHE NEVER SAID THAT AND THAT IT WOULD BE $100 EXTRA FOR THAT PROMISE! SHE TRIED TO MAKE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. SHE WAS A BIT RUDE.
