The service was performed in a timely fashion. They worked with us to find the best location for the system - we wanted to be hidden. They were courteous and cleaned up after. Before leaving they explained how to maintain and read the system. After service support was great as well.

I contacted Mike during the closing of our home. I found Radon Environmental, because they were only one of three CERTIFIED contractors in our area. Mike was very detailed in explaining the systems, patient with all my pricing requests and extremely responsive. (other companies I talked to were quoting systems that were not as specified by government or building standards) Their price was not the lowest, but I felt the most comfortable with their handle on the systems and our health. Chris was very flexible with my schedule requests, very professional, neat and did a great job installing. The system was internally run through the house and out the roof, so it was more challenging than typical installations. We just finished our post-test and the radon levels were lowered from 5 down to 0.9, so we are very happy. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone and they make a perfect example of how a contracting business should be run. Great job !

Great service. They scheduled me out to Sept 4th, but then a spot opened and they called me back that day to see if I was available for an earlier appointment since I told them I had taken vacation the week of Aug 27th. The installer showed up explained everything from start to finish. The previous home owner had a utility sink plumed to the ground water sump pit, he informed me that it should go to my greywater pit instead and corrected the issue. He was in and out in, cleaned up all waste and mess from the concrete coring process. Would (have) recommend to others.

The whole experience was very good. The installer was very nice and easy to work with. He really knew what he was doing and I feel confidant about the work that they did.

It went well. The installer made it so that we can install our back up sump pump in a few months.

The only complaint I had was on payment. the work was done, i got home, looked it over, and then went to the gym. The office called me for payment, which i missed because i was at the gym. Anyway, i shot an email to them saying, hey got your voice mail, we can settle this up tomorrow am. I joking said, i will be up until 10pm, if you want to give me call. at 9:45pm they called me to get payment. This might not bother most people, but it seemed a bit odd to me.

This is a first rate company. Chris did the installation very efficiently and very professionally. He was neat and left no mess whatsoever. He laid down protection for my hardwood floors where he had to walk. He answered all my questions completely and seemed very knowledgable. Not only that, he is a nice guy. The system has only been in for a day, but so far I'm very glad I had this company do the work.

After calling Radon Environmental, I immediately talked to a knowledgeable employee. Soon after, we set up an appointment for a Radon Environmental company representative to come assess the condition of our home and therefore provide an accurate proposal for the cost of our home's radon mitigation system. The bid was emailed to me within a day. It was super easy to sign and fax back the proposal and then schedule a day for work. The technician who installed our system was a gem. He showed up when he said he would, he kept us informed of what he was doing, he communicated about cost options when we inquired (and was willing to add things to our contract at the last minute), he worked efficiently and effectively, and he educated us about the steps we needed to take for follow-up testing. He even patiently instructed me how to test my sump pumps! All in all, this was a completely hassle-free, enjoyable, and successful experience.

Chris from Radon Environmental showed up exactly on time even though he had a little trouble with finding my house. He walked me through the process of installing the system, showed me the best place to install it, asked if the location worked for me and installed the system. He was very good at explaining exactly what he was going to do, and actually showed that he could save me some money on the installation by using my existing sump pump lid by making a slight modification. He was done in about 5 hours which is what was quoted and everything looks very professionally done.

Excellent service - came out and installed radon mitigation system. Was very patient with us deciding where to have the system installed and made it work with the location we chose. Worked very hard and had the system installed in under 5 hours. Both employees were friendly. They explained the system very well before they left. We would highly recommend them.

This company is great to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend them for a Radon Reduction System. Chris Jordon and his helper did an excellent installation. They are a very professional company and very prompt on calling and quotating a job. The cost to remove radon is expensive but I think worth every penny we paid. The system reduced the levels in our home to a safe level and I consider that to be the most important item about this project. I can't say enough good things about this company. If you have radon problems in your home hire this company.

Excellent company to work with. I chose Radon Environmental because of their high ratings on Angies List and the BBB. They are also a well established, locally owned/run business for the past 20+ years. I called and spoke w/Jerod, their estimator, and he was very professional and patient with all the questions I had concerning their service. He sent me a proposal within minutes of our conversation with a few options to consider. Upon further discussion, we decided on the best course of action for my home and the proposal was signed and a date set for the mitigation. On the date for the work to begin, I received a call from Chris, the owner's son who was in charge of the work to be done to my home, informing me they were on the way and would be there soon. Chris, Mike and Lenny arrived right on time, even a few minutes early to begin the work. Chris took all the time needed to evaluate the house, determine the most desirable/efficient/transparent location for the system and to answer all my questions. I was very pleased to see that they took extra precautions to keep the house clean by wearing booties over their shoes and laying down tarps to walk on. I went back to my work and left them to their work. My wife was at home during the entire installation process and hardly knew they were there. A few hours later, Chris called to inform me that they were finishing up so I could inspect their work. The system which he installed met all of my expectations. The system runs from a utility area in my finished basement, through a remote corner of the garage to the attic and through the roof. The boot used on the roof is designed such that installation can be accomplished without getting on the roof, a much safer and cleaner procedure. I required a transparent installation for my home and they delivered. Before the radon mitigation system was installed, I had seen levels as high as 15.1 pCi/l in the lower level of the house and 8.4 pCi/l in the main level. Now the levels are 1.6 pCi/l in the lower level and 1.3 pCi/l in the main for a 1.5pCi/l average. Radon Environmental guarantees the level to remain below 2.0 pCi/l for 60 months on an annual average basis when tested according to EPA protocols by an EPA or State licensed tester and the fan also has a manufacturers replacement warranty of 5 total years. Included in the mitigation price is a home report which very nicely summarizes the proposal, installation, warranty, post mitigation analysis from the lab performing the testing and pictures of the installation. A very nice packet to file away for future use. This is an excellent company which performs excellent installations and delivers excellent results in a very professional manner. We recently closed on a new house which had radon levels over 8. I decided to contact Radon Environmental based on the excellent reviews on Angie's List. Overall, I was very pleased with their service. Chris and Lenny arrived right on time. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and hard-working. They even placed down mats to walk on. I decided upon the premium package and the below 2.0 pCi guarantee, which I felt was worth the extra money. The price seems very reasonable given the man hours and quality of equipment installed. The quality of the work was excellent and they left the area as clean as it was before they arrived. Overall, they spent a little over six hours at the home. I highly recommend this company.

We moved into a new house which had Radon levels slightly over 5. I contacted two different companies for quotes and selected Radon Environmental based upon their price and Angie's List reviews. I was very happy with their service. The two techs arrived right on time and worked for 5 hours straight. They installed a vent pipe in the basement and sealed the sump pump basin. The techs were very knowledgeable, courteous and personable. They were able to answer all the questions I had for them. The price seems reasonable based upon the man hours and equipment they installed. The quality of the work was excellent. You can tell they take pride in their work. They provided us with a radon test kit which returned results of 1.2. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Installed mittigation system. He was on site on time and professional. Tim Hinojosa did the work as explained and cleaned up everything after the instillation. The system lowered the radon to the level that he promised. Our radon level was 11.0 and now it is 1.8 we were very excited that it came down that low. Thank you, Tim
