PLUM CREEK LANDSCAPE LLC

They are very good and do a good job.

This is our third year calling upon Plum Creek for our landscaping service. Estimates and actual costs are same. Although he is extremely busy in May and June, he does a great job. His costs are quite reasonable. We will continue to hire Plum Creek for our landscaping needs.

At first everything was great. He seemed knowledgable, was punctual, and pricing was reasonable. Then out of the blue he decides he does not want us to be a customer any longer due to having too many customers which is fine, but gave only a few days notice. Do you know how hard it is to find somebody to mow your lawn in the middle of the summer at a moments notice? Greg said he would no longer mow our lawn and he hadn't mowed our lawn for one week as it was. I requested for him to help us out until I find someone to replace him because I couldn't do it myself. I just moved into the home and did not have a lawn mower yet.

I was pleased with the bed design and actual landscaping. However Greg's follow-up when a bush needed to be replaced and later when two complementary mowing Greg offered were requested was lacking. It took weeks to get the bush replaced after several follow-ups on my behalf. I finally gave up on the 2nd free mowing as the agreed-upon schedule (booked 2 months in advance) wasn't honored (and there was no communication that the schedule couldn't be kept until I inquired). I had planned to use Greg for future projects but was disappointed by the lack of follow-up. Good work, nice guy, just too much hassle to remind him of commitments made.

WE REALLY ENJOYED MEETING GREG. HE RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY TO INITIAL E-MAIL CONTACT AND CAME OUT WITHIN A FEW DAYS TO MEET WITH US. HE LISTENED TO WHAT WE WANTED AND PROVIDED A COST ESTIMATE THAT WAS NEAR THE LOWER END OF THE ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED. WE ENDED UP GOING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY WHO DID A FRIEND'S LANDSCAPING BUT WE REALLY LIKED GREG AND WERE STRONGLY CONSIDERING HIRING HIM.

WORK WAS DONE PROMPTLY AND VERY NEATLY. THE WORK WAS DONE OVER 2 VISITS, AND GREG WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT KEEPING US INFORMED OF THE SCHEDULING.

THEY DID A SUPER JOB. THEY CAME IN AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING. THEY WERE FAST AND EFFICIENT AND ALSO REASONABLY PRICED.

THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR THAT PLUM CREEK HAS COME OUT TO OUR HOME FOR A SPRING CLEAN-UP. LAST YEAR, THEY PERFORMED SIMILAR SPRUCING UP OF THE FLOWER BEDS, AND EXTENDED THE DOWNSPOUT DRAINS THROUGH UNDERGROUND HOSES. GREG PROVIDES ESTIMATES AND STICKS TO THEM. HE HAS A CREATIVE ABILITY TO RECOMMEND COMBINATIONS OF PLANTINGS FOR NEW BEDS, AND OPTIONS TO IMPROVE OLD BEDS. HE IS EASY TO WORK WITH DURING THE PLANNING PROCESS. WE PLAN TO CONTINUE USING PLUM CREEK FOR OUR LANDSCAPING NEEDS.

I HAVE WORKED WITH FOUR PREVIOUS LANDSCAPERS IN THIS HOME SINCE WE BUILT IN 1999, AND GREG OF PLUM CREEK IS THE ONLY LANDSCAPE SERVICE THAT HAS STOOD BEHIND HIS ESTIMATES AND COMPLETED THE JOB WITHOUT PROBLEMS. PLUM CREEK'S PRICES ARE FAIR AND THE WORK IS COMPLETED BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

THE WORK WAS NOT DONE WELL. WE HAVE A RARE DWARF MONTGOMERY BLUE SPRUCE, AND THEY CUT THE TOP THIRD OF IT OFF, AND IT IS NOW SHAPED LIKE A BALL. THE TREE IS WORTH ABOUT $1,200. WE CONTINUE TO RECEIVE A BILL FOR HIS PRUNING. WE HAVE TRIED TO CALL HIM SEVERAL TIMES, AND HE WILL NOT RETURN OUR CALLS. THE OWNER SENT A LETTER TO US LETTING US KNOW HE WOULD NOT COME OUT TO TALK WITH US AFTER SAYING HE WOULD. THE OWNER IS NOT RESPONDING TO US AT ALL.

A+++ ON PRICING AS GREG'S ESTIMATE WAS 1/2 OF OTHER COMPANIES. THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. GREG WAS WITH THE CREW THE ENTIRE TIME THAT THEY WERE ON SITE. HE STAYED LONGER THAN EXPECTED, CUT DOWN MORE DEAD LIMBS/TREES THAN HE ORIGINALLY QUOTED, AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB EXTENDING THE DOWNSPOUTS OF OUR HOME. HOWEVER, HE DID NOT INCREASE THE PRICE FROM THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. HIS PROMPTNESS IN COMMUNICATION WAS AIDED BY HIS ASSISTANT AND E-MAIL MESSAGES.

THEY CAME OUT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I WOULD GIVE THEM AN A+ IN PRICING! THEY WERE 1/3 OR 1/2 LOWER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES I RECEIVED. HE HAS A CREW, AND HE WAS AT THE SITE WITH THEM.
