Brandon the service tech was very professional. His initial thought was that the thermocouple needed to be replace. Once he had done a cleaning and adjustment of the pilot replacement was not necessary. He did an excellent job of adjusting the pilot and repositioning the gas logs and replacement of the pilot. He kept everything clean around his work area. The pilot is much quieter now than it has ever been.

The two gentlemen showed up on-time. This is an almost 9 year old built-in grill that has never been serviced. They worked diligently cleaning for two hours. While this grill brand is not sold by their company (thus they generally cannot get parts), they said would do their best, and were able to fix the gas leak with universal parts available in the truck. The grill is the cleanest I can remember since new (and cleaner than I could ever do), thus they did a great job.

Had to wait weeks before getting someone out, when they finally came out they could fix my problem, had to wait a few more weeks to get a part, which was not the right part, and in between received a bill for $149 for a 5 min service call that did not fix my problem!! Called to complain and Scott was very rude to me and hung up on me!! I recommend staying away from this company!!!

It took two service calls due to some miscommunication from the office, but in the end, the work performed was fantastic and very fair priced! I would highly recommend them!

Very helpful explanation about the difference between vented and ventless fireplaces. Explained all our options. A service man came out to make measurements and returned to do the installation, which only took about 30-45 minutes. He was very clean throughout the process. He carefully explained & showed me how to use the system.

A big thank-you to Chris and his crew for the amazing fast service to replace our air conditioner today. We can't express enough how thankful we are for the fast response. We don't leave a lot of reviews on Angies but this was the least expensive quote and we feel Chris was excellent.

O'malia was willing to come out while I was at work. This was convenient. I asked them to replace an electrical component to my grill which had grown water damaged over several seasons. Instead, they cleaned my grill and left me hand written instructions as to how to turn my grill on (?). However, the damaged part was not replaced. Nor were plans made to replace it at a future appointment. Further, they had blown the GFI leading to my grill and all of my outdoor lighting and had refused any responsibility in doing so. The cost for NOT performing the job I had requested and leaving my GFI blown was $150, in addition to the time I spent researching how to fix a GFI myself. I would not recommend this company. In asking the company to please make this right, the company has elected stop communicating with me and has approached me quite abrasively, placing blame on me for the blown GFI

The service is excellent. The technician is very knowledgeable. He exceeded my expectations by pointing out things that needed to be done that I didn't know needed to be done.

Installers were top-notch. They were professional and courteous. Installation was done very well. However I got absolutely no break on the work/Cost. This exact same job was done on this exact same part in late October. Even though the warranty has expired I would think that the company would stand behind the parts that they recommend and install, and give me some kind of break on work that I had to have re-done just over four months afterwords.

They provided a thorough evaluation. They only found one pipe that needed to be tightened and even suggested that they not fix anything today because we weren't sure if it was necessary. Additionally they gave us great information about maintaining our fireplace. Great customer service and super friendly servicemen!

They were absolutely wonderful! The technician that came to our home was fantastic. Our grill is working better than it did 30 years ago. They provided the best costumer service, and there is no question I will definitely use them again in the future.

Was there a week ago shopping for 2 replacement gas log inserts. It was a Saturday and a very very nice older woman helped my husband and I. She showed us our options and suggested we measure our existing fireplaces, take some pictures and come back. So we did our homework and went back on a Thursday around 5. There were at least 2 gentleman working near the register, neither even greeted us. Both may have been assisting customers. We walked around looked at inserts. Killed some time. Still no one came to help us. We went back by the register and stood there, unacknowledged for another 5 minutes before we threw in the towel and walked out. Completely ignored during the entire visit. After our first delightful visit, I was appalled no one even said and quot;Hi we'll be right with you.and quot; On our way out we saw both gentleman who had finished with their customers by this point, and several other employees in the office off the show room. Needless to say, if this is any indication how any future service/install would be.... we will be taking our 2 fireplaces' business elsewhere.

Helen waited on us and was fantastic. She helped us pick out the perfect log set to fit our need. We were in and out in a 1/2 hour. Great service.

The installation was excellent! Mike and Dennis showed up exactly when they said they would (I think they even showed up a few minutes early!), had the logs installed and working within about 45 minutes, and my fireplace now looks beautiful! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service we received from O'Malia's and will definitely be back to see them when we are ready for an outdoor firepit. Thank you for your excellent service and stellar reputation!

We had a really nice fire all winter long. They fixed the site up. The quality of their work was fantastic, I would say their quality of work was an "A+." It was more than I expected. I got more out of them than I was going to. They were extremely clean, especially thinking about fireplaces which is not exactly the cleanest thing but they were amazingly clean. They were on time.

We moved into our house in March 2010, and the gas fireplace didn't work. We didn't know what was wrong with it. Finally, we decided to fix it and found O'Malia's on Angie's List. We were so impressed with Mike and O'Malia's. When I called O'Malia's to schedule the appointment, the person who answered the phone was very friendly. I was disappointed to learn that they couldn't do a free estimate, but it all worked out just fine. When Mike came to investigate the situation, we could immediately tell he knew what he was doing. He determined that there was no gas line going to our gas fireplace. We live in a 100-year-old house, so we weren't sure what it would take to run gas to the fireplace. We set another day for Mike and another man (Dennis?) to come to our house to do the work. It took them about 1/2 a day and they finished up. They kept everything really clean by laying out tarps. They did a great job and we were really impressed with the work. They were also incredibly nice and answered all our questions very well. And the invoice was far less than we ever imagined it could be. It was obvious they have a ton of experience in this field. We would recommend O'Malia's.
