I was unable to provide an update to my first review which outlines damage that Mr. Plumber caused to my irrigation system after running over it with their equipment and digging in my yard. When I brought it to their attention, they said it wasn't their responsibility. After I filed a BBB complaint, Mr. Plumber offered to fix a second piece of my system, but only if I removed my negative reviews of the company such as this one, which I consider unethical. My irrigation company came to assess and repair what they could. They were able to repair some of my system, but it is still not working correctly as it did before Mr. Plumber messed it up. They were able to repair the lines Mr. Plumber ran over with equipment because although broken, the lines were still there and they could cut out the broken parts and put in new parts. However, this was not the case for most of my back yard. Mr. Plumber broke and dug out these lines completely. These zones are completely unusable unless I have all new pipe installed to connect to the main line, which I've been told will be a couple thousand dollars, not to mention tearing up my yard again. Also, the irrigation company had to tie two other zones together because one of these was broken too. I have paid a total of $400 out of my own pocket for repairs that THEY CAUSED, and will have to pay an additional $2000 to fix my system to almost where it was before they came. This is in addition to the thousands of dollars they charged for the plumbing work (this was a large sewer pipe problem). One of their guys also tried to convince me that my sump pump was going out and he could install a new one for $600 while they were here. Knowing my pump was fairly new, I had the company that installed it inspect it and they said it was working properly. There are many other ethical choices for plumbing companies in Indianapolis and I would choose one of those.

They completed a very expensive plumbing job for us that cost thousands. In the process, they damaged our irrigation system in multiple spots, so much so that it is completely unusable. Prior to their work, our system was working perfectly. They ran over the system with their heavy equipment and broke the lines. Now they say they can give us a $175 credit to fix it, which will only cover the repair of one spot. They are also saying it is not their responsibility to fix this. I have spoken with multiple people there who say that it's our fault for not knowing exactly where the (underground) lines were (although Mr. Plumber could see control boxes level to the ground), so therefore, it is not their responsibility and there is nothing more they can do for me. It is extremely frustrating that a large company bringing in millions a year that can afford television advertising would be so cheap and unwilling to do the right thing, especially since an irrigation system moving water through PVC pipes is plumbing, and being a plumbing company, they could easily and inexpensively fix the system. Now we are stuck with an irrigation system that doesn't work and coming up with the money to try to fix something that THEY DAMAGED. They are obviously motivated by greed and money, not doing the right thing. Shame on you, Mr. Plumber. I will NEVER use them again and will be sure to let others know about my experience. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That was a week ago and they have yet to respond. With the number of plumbing companies in Indianapolis, nobody needs to put up with inferior customer service such as this.
