Mr Handy Dan LLC

Dan and Woody did an amazing job! They installed the sink, faucet, and disposal and it all looks great. They also made modifications to my kitchen cabinets to allow the new slide in oven to fit. It was a pretty complex job as the inside of the cabinets on each side of the oven had to be modified. The finished job looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. Dan was great to work with; he was efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced. He also worked to get the job done quickly; my house is on the market and was to be shown the following day. Thanks Dan....you are super!

I'm in the process of replacing a gyp-crete subfloor and during the removal process the drywall was damaged at the bottom of the wall all around the room. They came in and repaired the damage. The results were excellent. It took about 2 hours to complete the job.

These guys do a good job. They will not attempt a repair where they will not be successful. The repairs they do are completed quickly and hold up. When I need a handy man I call them. If something changes I will update this post.

They both went very well. I really appreciate him making time for me. He also did a great job on my fan.

It went great. Dan arrived when he said he would and accomplished the clean out in just a few minutes. He was honest and said I didn't need a new hood. I appreciate that.

Electrical repairs & mounting new overhead lights.

He arrived very soon after appointed time. Surveyed the project and explained what was needed. The toilet was tilting back and forth. It had been improperly installed and after he removed the toilet, it showed that toilet had been situated on the subfloor and leaked, thus rotting the wood. He took out the rotted subfloor, replaced with new wood, installed the proper plywood over that, laid new stick on tiles I had ready and reset toilet. When he reset the toilet, it was discovered that the bolts holding the tank to toilet had also been improperly installed and did not have any plumber's pipe goop(?) which caused a lot of the leaking that rotted the floor. It took approximately 4 hours to complete. And we are very pleased with the work. Would definitely request his services again for any other projects which might arise.

I left three messages over a week's time and have had no response. I was clear with my request, and think it would have been polite to have heard back from him.

I contacted Dan by e-mail, and he responded immediately. I asked for a ballpark estimate for faucet installation, and he complied with a specific price (which I appreciated). I thought the amount he quoted was reasonable and fair. He advised on the type of faucet to buy - size, etc. This was helpful. He came on time to the appointment and was pleasant, courteous and professional. The price of the installation was exactly what he had quoted. The new faucet looks very nice. I am pleased, and I would definitely use him again as well as recommend him to others. I also like the fact that he and his partner can do all kinds of jobs.

My husband had problems trying to get the light fixture installed over grooved roughsawn cedar siding. And the caulk on our 16-year old whirlpool tub was in bad shape. Dan gave us an estimate, we accepted, and he scheduled for the following week. I called Dan because he had done such a good job in a difficult ceiling fan install two+ years ago. He put the light up, tested it, while the old caulking around the tub was removed and new applied. We were very pleased with both jobs.

Have had Dan and Woody out to our old home last year for some work, so I did not hesitate to call Dan for their help again. They had all three items very well secured on the walls, within about an hour. A real pleasure to have them do some more work for us and well worth the price to have the job done correctly and professionaly.

He always does a great job with whatever job he works on at our house. I can count on him to work hard, clean up his mess, and charge me fairly.

Just really excellent work. Dan even met me at Lowe's once and helped with the sink purchase details. The floor tile is just beautiful. His assistant is also a perfectionist, and they work really well together. Dan answers his phone a lot. which is great when you need to ask him about a new project, but perhaps annoying when he is at your house. His partner is also very good for his word, trustworthy and I would feel safe with letting them in your home when you are out.

We had Dan complete some work in our first home based upon the recommendation of our realtor. We were happy with his work and fair price and hired him to complete some jobs on our new home in Nov '12. He took a piece of flooring to get a match and we didn't hear back. We scheduled a time to meet in Aug to complete some more work. He didn't show or call. I phone him. He was sick and he would call me back. I didn't hear from him. I emailed him on Sep 14 with our list of jobs. He came to our home on 9/23 to assess the work and we scheduled a follow-up visit for 9/30 at 9am. He called at 10:15 and said he was having a difficult day and rescheduled for after 3:30 the same day. He didn't show up or call. I called him on 10/2 and asked him to bill us for the work from Nov '12 and to return the strip of flooring. What a waste of time on our part!

Scheduled an appointment with Dan. He never showed up and never called. When I attempted to call him, his voicemail box was full. Don't do business with this individual, he is not a professional.

I was so very happy with Dan. Very pleasant, and explained everything he looked at and checked. He came out later than usual because he thought I might have a fire hazard. I so appreciate that! Even though he just did electrical, I'm going to use him again for other problems with our house that are less urgent, but didn't know who to call. I would highly recommend him. I feel like I've found someone honest and trustworthy with very fair pricing.

As I stated above, the extent of the damage was not something Dan was capable of doing, however the work they did do was honest, clean and just a great guy. I will definitely have him back out to do the framing of the garage. I am also going to have Dan check out a plumbing issue, as I found out there really isn't much he cannot do. Great handyman to have in your phone!!

Dan came out and got right to work. He hung the shutters, after killing a few yellow jackets. He took the boxes and the old shutters so I didn't have to worry about the mess. He did an awesome job and I will use him again.

Called Dan on a Friday morning. I had water leaking from my second story bath through to the first floor. Dan was very responsive. Answered the phone on the first ring. He gave me good advice on how to make sure the water was shut off and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The next day dan called and said he could come earlier. He showed up on time and was able to fix the problem well. Some parts were needed and he was more that ok with letting me select the products rather than buying them and upcharging me. I had him work on a couple additional items in the house while he was there. I am a guy that is capable of fixing a lot of things, but feels better about having a professional there to do the job. Dan is deffinately that.

He did very well, he was on time, and professional.

We had one week to complete two primary projects. Once we started, we discovered a variety of other issues that needed to be completed. Dan worked all of our projects into his schedule attending to our needs as they arose while taking care of his other appointments. He is easy to work with, takes care of his projects professionally and his service charges are fair.

He was excellent. He did a good job and was honest and dependable.

We've used him to do several handyman jobs around our house. We think he's wonderful. We had him do some things in the fall and then we had him install an oven right after the first of the year so he's been out twice I think in total. He's very professional, very competent and very clean. He really cleaned up well after himself. He seems very knowledgeable about all kinds of projects around the house. He's just a great all round handyman. We plan to use him in the fall.

He came to look at a project, we talked about some details and he said he would get an estimate to me the following week. I never heard back from him.

The quality of the work was ok, but was charged $180 for a relatively simple 10 minute job. I just needed a faucet and strainer installed, it seemed high for roughly 10 minutes of work.
