They provided a good job caulking around a window my ladder could not reach.

Dan did C work. He often did not show up when scheduled, didn't call to cancel or reschedule. This happened at least 3 times in the effort to get this job done. I finally finished the work.

Due to scheduling issues with the window install, Dan worked me in at the very last minute. He arrived at 6:00 PM as arranged, did the work - removed window blinds and curtains - and was finished before 7:00 PM. He was courteous, pleasant and very professional. I will only use his handyman services whenever needed. He deserves a POH nomination.

Had a lighting issue that needed immediate service and Dan was out within 2 hours. He brought his own tall ladder and had the issue fixed quickly. While he was here he also fixed a longtime dripping faucet!

Dan met me on a previous date to a**** the repairs needed so he could provide me with an estimate. Within a day he emailed a document listing the estimated cost and time. We then set a date for the repairs 2 weeks later. Dan arrived punctually on the scheduled date to make the repairs. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Although he certainly could have, he made no attempt to up-sell or create more work than what was needed. He did tell me that some electrical components needed to be updated in order to pass inspection for the sale of the house. I was grateful for the information, and the cost was minimal. Paul, his helper, worked quickly and efficiently on the window, while Dan worked on the electrical. They were thorough in their work, and cleaned up after themselves when done. They finished within the time frame quoted. Dan was prompt in responding to emails or phone calls. Overall, Dan was professional, honest, reasonably priced, efficient, responsive, and knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to call him again in the future, or refer him to my friends and neighbors.

The repair was completed on budget and in a time frame that was acceptable. I plan to use them again.

Dan was excellent! He was able to diagnose the problem in speaking with me over the phone. He agreed to come out that evening so we wouldn't have to spend the weekend without use of the door. He was prompt, extremely polite and very friendly. We had a working door again in a very short time.

Dan was responsive, quick, communicative and provided quality and reasonably- priced service.

It went well. His helper installed a faucet crooked and required a second visit, but other than that, all work was done well.

I hired Mr. Handy Dan to install an outdoor socket & lamp post in our back patio area. I had already purchased the post, light, & sensor and in about an hour they had it wired and completely installed. All I had to do was tell him where I wanted it and he did all the rest and came with all the necessary installation supplies. Dan worked with me to get this accomplished prior to having a new concrete patio poured which I really appreciate. Not long after this Paul installed a new crawl space vent for me and did a fine job with this, too. Next came a new toilet to replace our 30+ year old one. Once again, I had already purchased the toilet and Dan & Paul came with all the necessary equipment to install it and took away the old one for me. I couldn't be happier with everything. Dan & Paul are wonderful to work with. Our "to-do" list isn't finished, so I'll be seeing them again soon for sure!!

It went very well. We're going to have him come back out soon to do some additional work.

He's very good about everything except for one thing and that's about getting an appointment. He's very busy but I'm very pleased with his work and it was all done well. The price was okay and was reasonable. He did the job efficiently and quickly. He didn't show up at least 3 times.

He did great. He was on time, did it great of what he said, charged us reasonable on amount, knowledgeable and good. It is easy.

Dan was very responsive and punctual. He arrived on time and immediately took care of the problem. He was able to patch the wall and fix the curtain correctly on a stud so that it wouldn't be a problem down the road. He did not charge us an exorbitant fee either given that we asked him to help us out at such short notice on a weekend.

This was our second experience with Dan and it won't be our last! We contacted Dan about a week prior to setting our appointment to replace two leaking outdoor spigots. Via email Dan was able to give us a quote on how much it would cost to replace the water bibs and we felt his price was fair. He arrived on time with his assistant and immediately got to work. We couldn't be happier with the quality of work. The piping for one spigot ran directly into our crawl space and was fairly straight forward and having an assistant (one working outside and the other in the crawl space) made for a smooth replacement. The other spigot's piping ran in between an interior wall in our utility room which Dan was able to access by cutting out a small piece of drywall under the sink. He offered to repair the drywall or cover the small opening with a metal vent. We chose to go with the latter option which looks neat and will allow for any future access if necessary. Dan was willing to clean up the minimal dust made from the drywall, but since many items under the sink had to be removed to access the piping, I seized the opportunity to do a much-needed and thorough cleaning of the floor and sink. The new valves work great. We have no more leaky faucets and should see a slight improvement in our water bill!! We couldn't be happier with Dan and will probably be keeping him quite busy in the future!

This company was horrible with first communication. I called weeks in advance to make it easier on everyone's schedule. I was told that I needed to call back a few days before I wanted to schedule an appointment. Not a good way to handle business.

The appointment was at 4:00. He called at 4:35 saying his current job was running over and if it worked for me, he'd come at 6:30 PM. I said that would be fine or would he rather reschedule. He said he'd see me around 6:30 PM & if he still couldn't make it, he would call. Well, he never showed up & he never called. So, I expected him to call the next day & I even waited until mid afternoon. I then called him; got his voice mail; left a message. He never called back. Apparently he's not interested in installing my blinds.

I loved him, he was very knowledgeable and honest. I added the bottom rail of the storm door at the last minute and he did it in a few minutes no problem. He did not have the door knob I needed but went to Lowe's purchased it and put it on all in the alotted time.

I called Dan in November and then again in February to hang blinds, shades, a mirror, and bathroom fixtures in a new home I bought. Both times he got back to me very quickly and give me an estimate for the work. He called before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. Dan worked quickly and got everything done in about an hour. He would check with me on all the items to make sure they were placed where I wanted and corrections were made on one item that was hung differently that what I requested. Dan and his assistant also cleaned up all the packaging material and disposed of it for me. I was pleased to find someone who provides these services since I've developed arthritis and can't do it as well anymore. Dan did an excellent job and I would definitely use him again.

We had a wonderful experience with Dan. Turn-around from point of first contact to job completion was about 2 weeks which was very adequate as our situation was not urgent. Our issues were quite simple: swap out a kitchen faucet, repair a kitchen drawer, and remove a storm door screen. Dan completed all of these within an hour and very efficiently. He was very professional and enjoyable to work with. This experience comes with a HUGE plus in that it has left us with a sense of relief that we have found a Go-To-Person for all those odd jobs that we may need help with in the future and we won't hesitate to call on him.

I had Dan come out to give us a free estimate to reroute the water filter pipes as well as repair a leak at one of the connections on these pipes and to replace two outdoor spickets. We also asked him to check on our well because the pump had been rather noisy lately at times. His price was very reasonable so we agreed to have him do the work and set a work date. Dan arrived with an assistant on the day scheduled while we were at work. They rerouted the water filter to come through the water softener first and repaired a leak at one of the connections on our water filter in the garage with a better more secure connection and mounted the previously unmounted pipes there. They also said the current filter being used was not the right type and replaced it with a filter meant for the whole house which would work much nicer. They replaced the two outdoor water spickets and neatly remortered them in since they were inset very deep and then inspected the well area in the crawl space. Upon inspection of the well area it was discovered that the main pipe leading into the well was leaking. It was a very old, rusty pipe so when the water was wiped away to discover the root of the leak, the pipe collapsed completely in half. They immediately shut the water off and rushed off to get parts they needed. Dan called us and informed us of the situation, and said the other surrounding pipes were pretty badly rusted as well, so we had him replace those too. Afer they completed all the work, Dan made sure everything was clean, dry and watertight. He even took pictures of the work with his cell phone so we could see a convenient display of his work. The presentation of his final bill was half the price of what others would charge for all this work. Dan is friendly and not pushy and is someone you can trust to work in your home w/o your presence. I will definitely call Dan back for other jobs in the future and I highly recommend him.
