Dan is very professional, puntual and friendly.

He said he didn't feel like the work I needed wasin his in capabilites. But he took my name and number and said he would be in contact with me a company he thought would be able to do the job. In less than 24 hours, he gave me a return call and gave me the name of a company who could do the job. I feel he went really above and beyond.

Our dehumidifier kept tripping the breaker. Looking back I should have known it was defective. Dan suggested that we dedicate a line to the machine. We did that and it still tripped the breaker. I had a very long go around with Sears to replace it, but the new one is humming downstairs on its own line. I wish Dan (and I) figured out the problem was the dehumidifier and not the line. It had been working for a couple of months before the repair. Dan was very nice and knew how to handle the electric.

The relatively "simple" job that was suppose to take a week, in his own words, took from 11/13/2009 to after 02/15/2010. This in a house i was trying to get ready to rent. Dan was very nice knowledgable and a good talker but clearly took on more projects than his crew of 2 could handle. My job was not a priority. For the most part he was relatively easy to contact but did go mia more than once. He agreed to take payments over the course of the job. Once I arrived to find two of his helprers working, after giving them an $800 pymt they left, immediately - for two weeks, leaving everything a mess.ie counter top on the floor etc. upon completion of the job i discovered the counter top was not only screwed thru and poorly fitted but was not even attached to the underlying cabinetry. My real problem with this was the fact that the screws were cut off and filled w putty in an attempt to cover the mistake. I did not notice it until i cleaned the counter and felt the putty than found several other problems on inspection. When i lifted the lip the whole counter came up. In all fairness he did come back and replace it with another (still poorly fitted)but the whole process was very very complicated and time consuming. Excuses ran from sick help, ghost, equiptment problems, other job emergencies and more. It was an old house and the walls were not plum. If he was unable to properly install the countertop he should have stated that before trying either the first or second time. or told me to get one custom fit which is what i did on another rental at less cost for much better results. there were other issues... sometimes you have to just move on. In the end most things were done as promised.

He was very profesional and courteous. The work was done as explained and in a timely manner. He cleaned up after he was done and ensured that the front door handle and deadlbolt were working correctly. Overall a positive experience and I would utilize his services again.

The job went smoothly except for one issue. Dan added a $25.00 trip charge to the bill which we never discussed at the time of scheduling the appointment, even during a conversation we had before the job about his prices. When I brought this fact to his atttention, he apologized for not mentioning it but did not agree to reduce the fee from the bill. Had I known about the trip charge beforehand, I may have considered using a contractor closer to the home.

Dan and his crew were trustworthy and professional. They were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely call them again in the future.

Dan came the next day after I called him. My husband was here while he was working. My husband said he was a good worker and knew what he was doing. Overall, a good experience.

Not only is Dan very courteous and professional, but his two employees are the same. I didn't get home at our scheduled appointment time, and they were in their truck in my driveway when I arrived. They could not have been nicer about having to wait for me. Their work was done in short order - no mess - just good work and smiles. I'd hire them again and highly recommend them. If I have any repair work to be done, he will be the one I'll call.

He was running a little late, so he telephoned and apologized. He was a very pleasant person, put on shoe protectors, and went to work immediately. I'm very pleased with his work - it didn't take him long - price was right. In addition to what I initially asked him to do, I also asked if he would check another door. He did and is coming back to repair that. He would have done it then, but I need to get a part.

I didn?t like his service. I thought his quote of $400 was expensive. Two people came out and cleaned up the steps. It took them less than half a day to finish the job. I got the bill and it was a $100 more than the original quote. He said he hadn?t included materials in the original quote. The work was done by his crew and they were here when they said they would be here. They had also left concrete outside. I wrote them a letter saying that the $400 quote was expensive. I was really not happy and would not recommend him to anyone. He never contacted me again either.

The end result of the work was very good. The door operates better than it?s ever operated and it?s about 30 years old. The price was good. He visited us twice. The only thing we were disappointed in was he scheduled a time and was a half hour late, but didn?t call.

Dan came out to secure broken entry to house. He fit the project in at the end of the day as it was kind of an emergency. He was polite, gave me my options and will be coming back to do a laundry list of other projects (hopefully!) Overall I was very impressed with his work!

They left quite a mess on my back landing and they were gone before I realized they hadn't cleaned up. I thought the price was quite high especially since they only worked for 30 minutes and didn't clean up after themselves. The door was sticking again so I called him. He came out on 11/30/2009 and did not want to trim off anymore of the door in case cold air would come in. He ended up fixing the deadbolt so I can lock the door now. He cleaned up very well after himself.

I had a good experience working with Mr. Handy Dan. We had some issues reaching him, getting things done on time, and his assistant made a mess in our driveway. He did not do anything big to drop his grades, it was all of the little things that added up.

When I called they said they were out of the office until September 10th and I still have not heard from them. I left all of my contact information and they just did not respond.

He wasn't able to help with my problem, but the interaction went well.

I haven't found anything he can't do. His prices are fair, he's very friendly, and courteous. He's done large and small jobs for me.

The handyman was very good and did a great job. The quality of work was good. He was responsive, punctual, and professional. He is a great guy to use and I would certainly use him again.
