Trey, Castro, and TJ did a fantastic job for us. They are friendly, and caring. Our furniture and belongings were in great hands with them and they made our move day go seamless.

Booked with modern movers for 7/12 to move my 1b 1Bath furniture into my storage unit. This project was not that time consuming being that my unit was 20 minutes away and I was going to have everything ready to be packed up in the front room. I was set for the afternoon but they called and had to push me back to the evening. Cool. Once the evening came Mark said they would have to come 7/13 because the job before me was bigger than expected. They asked for pictures of my job so it’s confusing how they were not prepared for their projects booked. It was a big inconvenience but I agreed to a 9-10am time slot. The morning came and I had not receive a phone call (which they stated they would call an hour ahead when on the way). I reached out to them and was told they would have to come 7/14 because of the larger projects they chose to do instead, as if my project was less important. I could not do that day being that I have a busy work schedule. I took vacation days for this move. I let them know I could not do 7/14 because of work and asked for a resolution. I decided to call to follow up hours later and they have chosen to ghost me. Won’t pick up phone calls or respond to text messages. This has ruined everything I had set up. I wasn’t even going to go with them because of prices but Jason and Samuel ensured me of their work. Unprofessional! I would never suggest this company.

They were all polite and professional. They know how to do their job and did it well. Very nice and respectful.

Handled my belongings with care and caution. Wrapped my hard furniture with pads and were eager to help when i asked them to wrap my soft furniture in plastic. Took less time then expected and ended up being much cheaper than the quote. 10/10 highly recommend for anxious residents on a budget.

My mom chose Modern Moving bc of the high rating. Mistake #1! I left out their names. And I don't usually leave reviews but it's been over a week and I'm still livid they took advantage of my elderly mother. When she called, they ask how many bedrooms. That's it! They don't ask any other questions so they quoted an estimate for what they thought it'd be. It was a 2 bedroom. Don't ask anything else about basement, garage, misc items, etc...🚩 They said they'd do a walk thru before getting started to make sure that was accurate. They sent 2 scrawny kids 🚩 that had to have just gotten their driver's license and had no business driving a big truck bc he couldn't drive it... which was an Uhaul (not even their own truck 🚩). It took them 15 minutes just to park on the street (instead of the driveway). They only sent 2 kids but did a walk thru acted like it was fine, estimate still the same, etc. Then about a hour or 2 into it, they said they needed 2 more guys but it'd come out about the same as the hourly🚩. Mom said as long as it's not over $1000. One said they'd give discounts until it's that if need be. The 2 guys came, 1 was actually muscular. Then about 5 hours into it they said not everything is going to fit on this truck. So then we went back & forth, do WE get an uhaul, do they get another truck, do they make another trip, etc... mom called and talked to a scheduler he said this happens all the time🚩. (If it happens all the time, maybe change your process? Ask more questions? Somethings obviously not working!🚩🚩) But he said they'd make it right - which I assumed they'd fix it at no extra cost to us. Hence "making it right". They said they were sending another truck so I stayed behind to wait for them while the first truck went with my mom to the new house. The new guy text me and said he was on his way. Then something happened and they decided to just send another mover instead of another truck 🚩and wait for this one to be unloaded and come back. While I waited, my bf came home so we packed some stuff in our cars hoping to make it go faster. They came back, and then tried to leave some for us to take 🚩🚩🚩. I said I have a little compact car and it's already full bc we tried to make this process go faster and loaded stuff ourselves already! I mean we paid for THEM to do it so THEY could move/haul the stuff, not us. 🚩 They said they couldn't fit all of it in the truck AGAIN - bc they just started putting stuff in there instead of packing it right so they had to reorganize to fit stuff - and we still had to put more in our cars🚩🚩🚩. So 5 movers and 10 hours later, we finally get to the new house. They tell mom how much it was and it was ridiculous! She won't even tell me how much it was bc it was so much. She brought up the mover saying discounts and the "lead mover" brought in last to "make things right" said "they don't really do discounts". I said I wish I would have known when he gave you the bill, I would have came out raising h***. She paid movers bc she's 70 years old and ill. I am not strong so I can't help so we paid for a service. They don't know what they're doing and that "service" went to crap quickly. Empty promises were made about discounts and "making things right" with no intention of ever keeping those promises. No one could give us a true estimate all day, adding movers and trips but never giving us a real answer on "how much more this will cost". Until the end when they said "oh an old lady that can't do anything to us, let's take her for all she has" 🤬🤬🤬 All in all, they were stupid expensive, very unorganized, and it was one problem after another bc the kids didn't know w** they were doing. And they broke so much stuff! We keep finding stuff they broke. We did 10% of the moving ourselves even after paying them to do it and it was still expensive. It was all chaos all day, so stressful. Moving is stressful anyway, but you pay the expense for movers to relieve some stress, not make it worse. I don't plan to move again anytime soon, but when I do, I will NEVER use them again. I'm not sure how they had such a high rating. Probably all the employees making fake reviews. But I'd advise to STAY AWAY and get literally ANYONE ELSE!

Late review but Sam and Grady did an excellent job moving me from Columbus to Indianapolis in Summer 2023. They were very quick and efficient, and helped take down/pack my larger furniture. The move out and move in was made easy with them. They were very accomodating to place every item in the new apartment as we had asked for, and they worked non-stop for hours. There were very careful in handling everything and none of the things were damaged in the process. I appreciate all their help with the move! Would highly recommend!

Nice guys.. overall handled furniture well

We had such a great experience with Modern Moving. We got a competitive quote for our small move and Demontai and Castro were fantastic movers! They were great at communicating with us before and during the move, timely, and professional. They also left no marks when moving and disassembled and reassembled some of our larger furniture, and didn't waste any time. We would definitely use and recommend Modern Moving in the future!

The 3 movers who came out to help with our move were TOP NOTCH. Three young guys working their butts off. They were worth every penny and then some. Kudos. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic service! 29 years in the same place you collect a lot of stuff. Some of it very heavy stuff. Samuel and Grady worked hard, VERY HARD! Not one bit of complaining from either one. They worked as a team and finished well ahead of what I expected them to. Very polite , respectful and courteous young men. I would not hesitate to recommend either for this or any future endeavor they may pursue. The overall price of the whole move was a full 30% less than the closest competitor. KUDOS Mini Movers, KUDOS!

Mini Movers was great to work with! They padded and wrapped and were especially conscientious with some family antiques. They have a straight hourly rate plus one travel fee. When all was finished the cost was still 20% below most other quotes. Hint: avoid the Square charge and pay cash. The movers were hard-working, efficient, and pleasant. Highly recommend Mini Movers!

It went great! Kai & Ramez were two outstanding young men and very professional. They worked hard and and took the time to make sure everything was safely packaged before loading. They were very thoughtful by unloading the boxes to their appropriate room locations throughout the apartment. They helped get my grandma's bedframe put together. Excellent experience! Great communication and great punctuality!

Everything goes pretty well, reasonable price, workers are kind and explain everything to me.
