MIKE'S CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

I was considering renting a steam cleaner and doing it myself, but after the rental costs estimated time of the project it was worth a little bit more to get it done correctly by a professional. I called Mike to get a quote - he has set prices per piece/type so he asked a few questions about the furniture and then gave me an accurate quote. He arrived within the scheduled time frame and got right to work. He is a very pleasant person and I felt comfortable having him in my home. He set the cushions up on their ends to dry and recommended I flip them in a couple hours to make sure they dry completely. The couch looks great, and my friends with allergies haven't had any problems. The price matched the incredible quality perfectly, and I'd highly recommend using his services if you want the job done right.

This is a second visit for us and the service and quality was as good as the first time. Punctual and professional. Close attention to the moving around large pieces of furniture so as not to scratch or bump. Afterwards the carpets looked fresh and clean. Not overly wet and were dry within a couple of hours. Fantastic job!

I called Mike to clean my carpets and I needed them done on a particular day. He came the day and time I needed him to come! He was very professional and polite! He walked through my home with me while I pointed out the areas that I wanted cleaned. His prices were extremely reasonable and I also received a 10% discount for being a member of Angie's List. Mike exceeded my expectations, and the carpets look great. There were several stains that another carpet cleaner couldn't remove over a year ago, and Mike got them out. I couldn't be more pleased. He was prompt in responding to emails, flexible with my need to move the scheduled date, and did an all-around outstanding job. Will definately hire again.

Our carpets were very old and were looking kind of dirty white. He was able to clean it and really make it look the right color again. I was ready to get some new carpets. We have had other cleaners in the past several years to clean the carpets, but it never looked better. He removed stains and did an excellent job. It was pretty amazing.

I will rate him A's in all the categories. I think he works really efficiently. He doesn't yak. He just comes in and does the job. If I have him do the cleaning in the morning, it is pretty much dried by the night, and I think he uses an extraction method. He does a really good job. Usually, if I call him, he can be out in few days.

I called for a quote, scheduled and appointment, and received service within 2 days. Mike is professional, punctual, and precise in his work. He had an opportunity to come a bit early-which worked great for our schedule, called to be sure it was okay to arrive early, and popped over within minutes. When Mike saw the work he had quoted, he evaluated the situation, made a recommendation, and reduced his charge. Talk about a WONDERFUL surprise!!! Excellent! I've had my carpet, now 10 years old with kids and pets, cleaned three times by three different companies, and this is the first company I will call to come back again. Even my white carpet with pet, coffee, spaghetti and who knows what other stains is clean! When Mike left the carpet was barely damp, not soppy wet like another company, and because he removed so much of the water, there was not that awful pet urine smell as it dried (and we did not use deodorizer-- it wasn't needed) I felt very comfortable with Mike in my house-- he was very professional and quiet. Highly recommend.

It went very well. They did a great job and it came out very well.

Carpets were way over due for cleaning and when Mike was finished, they looked like new. There were some spots that he was not able to get out but I knew that before he started. Mike did an excellent job and I would highly recommend his services. Mike recommended that the heavy traffic areas be cleaned once a year and I will definitely following his recommendation and have him back next spring.

Mike showed up on time, and worked around our schedule. He was able to come a couple days sooner than our original appointment to accommodate a visit from family. Everything looks great, and I would recommend them to others.

Overall and in every respect, my experience using Mike's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning was exceptional. I called Mike's Carpet on Monday, and we discussed the areas I was considering cleaning. Mike came to the house the very next day and gave me an estimate, which I agreed to, and he began work. Mike was very polite and professional and didn't try to talk me into anything (although I now wish he had talked me into doing all the rooms upstairs!). He worked for about 3.5 hours, and the result was nothing short of astonishing. I did not think it was possible to get all the long-present stains out of the carpet in our playroom, and the result on the high-traffic stairway was incredible. We also had a cat urine issue in one of the rooms, and Mike took special care to isolate the urine spots and treat them with whatever magical concoction he had. He explained that the smell would be reactivated due to the treatment (he was right), but that the smell would go away if the treatment was effective (and it did). I do wish that I had chosen to get all of the carpeted rooms cleaned, but I chose the dirtiest rooms only, and now they make my formerly cleaner rooms look dingy! I guess I'll have to call Mike out again. The price was very reasonable to start with, and Mike gave me my 10% Angie's List discount in addition. My only past experience with carpet/upholstery cleaning (other than renting equipment and doing it myself) was with one of the big franchise companies (Stanley Steamer), and that was a horrible experience. So I was a little leary calling, but relied on Angie's List recommendations, and could not be more pleased with Mike's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. I will be recommending Mike to friends and family, and certainly to my Angie's List community.

Called on a Friday and Mike came out that following Monday for an estimate and also ready to complete the work. His price was great and the qualilty of his work was spectacular - he got stains out of the carpet that I thought were never coming out. I would have him back again to clean the carperts - he did a great job.

This is the 2nd time we used Mike (who we found on the List for the first time last year). I called and he was able to accomodate our schedule. Mike is timely and professional. We had some different areas cleaned this time (and he even had the square footage from the last cleaning). As an owner/operator, Mike works hard and gets the job done. We would plan to continue to use Mike for all our carpet cleaning needs.

He gave an estimate over the phone and then came and measured the rooms and told me how much it would cost, which was less than the estimate over the phone. He did not take the Angie's list coupon because he said that he already took off more per square foot than what he usually charges. He did a great job. The carpets look great, even high traffic areas.
