Mailbox Pro

I shopped quite a bit before giving the replacement of our mailbox and post' contract to Mailbox Pro and I'm glad I did. Tim and I exchanged many emails before the work got done and he was always extremely fast to respond to any of my questions. The job was done as scheduled and everything matches perfectly our HOA standard. As for the price, he was extremely competitive. Thank you Tim!

He was very prompt. I only asked that he attach the mailbox back to the post. He also fixed the mailbox door as it was not shutting properly. Great job.

I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The box and post and lettering are beautiful, and perfectly conform to the requirements of the HOA. And the price compared very favorably with the other mailbox company recommended by the HOA. I'm hoping no one else runs into my mailbox anytime soon, but if so, I'd use this company again with no hesitation. They did an excellent job!

I called on Friday and the new post and mailbox was installed on Sunday.

Tim first called on 3/12 following my contact with him. He told me he would come out to look at the mailbox I already had standing to see if it could be salvaged or if it needed to be replaced. The mailbox had been damaged by a "hit & run driver". Tim called me on 3/14/14 and advised he came out to look and recommended the mailbox be replaced. He explained all that was needed in detail. He was very congenial, yet still professional. He advised he was running about 5 days out and would get to me within that time. To my surprise when I left my home on Monday morning the mailbox was up. He completed the job without ever having to make face to face contact, which to me indicates he carefully listened to me. Tim was easy to communicate with, he clearly listened carefully to my request, he provided a quality product, the installation was perfect, he was extremely timely, and the cost of services/product was very reasonable. Although I am writing a check for him today and placing it in the mail, he had advised that he would leave a statement in the mailbox when he completed the job. He was not at all pushy about the payment and advised me to pay when I could. I would definitely use him again and will refer him to my neighbors. He is the consummate service provider.. His company name is very appropriate....he is definitely 'The Mailbox Pro'.

Tim's company was quick, efficient, and did a quality job. I wanted to use the same paint we have on our home to paint the mailbox post. Tim was receptive to that and picked up the paint from our home. I made a mistake and gave them a can of the primer. It actually worked out better as after they left I noticed I had given the wrong paint and went in got the correct paint and painted the post myself. This way I got the primer on by Tim's employee and I put the finishing coat on. I'm sure in the end that was the better way to go anyway. The whole process was less than a week from the initial email to them to installation. Tim actually had the best price as well. We originally were going with a company we engaged with at the Home Show. Before setting up the appointment I decided to check Angie's List to see who else might do this kind of work. We discovered the provider we met at the Home Show had an extremely negative review. It reminded us of the value of Angie's List to weed out companies that you shouldn't use. Thanks all around to Tim and his company Mailbox Pro as well as to Angie's List and the service they provide.

We got back from vacation Friday night and noticed our mailbox had been knocked off the post (maybe a plow). I left an email on Saturday morning and got a response back almost immediately. After providing some pictures, we agreed on a price and he said he could be out the next day (Sunday) to fix it. As promised, he showed up and did the repairs. I'm very pleased with the speed of the response and how quickly the work was completed.

They were on time and did a nice job of replacing the old mail box which had been destroyed by a car..

I called The Mailbox Pro because my poor husband slid on the ice turning the corner and hit our neighbor's mailbox when he was coming back from putting gas in my car for me. No good deed goes unpunished. I called the Mailbox Pro and explained what happened and asked them if they could replace the neighbor's mailbox post and bill it to us. They said it would be no problem and take about a week because of the weather. My husband set up a trash can weighted with sand bags with the neighbors mail box on top so they could receive mail for the next week. In TWO days THE MAILBOX PRO was out and replaced the mailbox post and attached their mailbox and paper box to it. All of this was done in freezing cold weather with snow on the ground!!!!! This is a 4" x 4" painted wooden post. I had done business with them in the past, so they left a bill for me at my house. EASY for me!!!!! Great job guys!!!!! I could not be happier!!!!! I would recommend them!!!!! A++++ service!!!!!

I contacted the Mail Box Pro via e-mail after reading reviews on Angie's List. I received a response that same day from Tim Loftus. A couple e-mail exchanges later and we had agreed to a price, mailbox size, post style and type of address script for the mailbox, and approximate date for installation. A few days later Tim advised me that we were on his schedule for our new mail box. He arrived on the day he stated he would. He removed the old post and mailbox and installed our new one. It's a major improvement over what we had! He does very high quality work from a construction standpoint as well as aesthetic view point. I highly recommend Mail Box Pro!

I found them here on Angie's List, and after visiting their website which is simple and user friendly, I purchased several weeks later when we were ready. I had some initial questions, Tim was patient and really easy to work with; I was instructed (after I placed the order) the mailbox would come 5 to 7 business days later. And true to their word it was...I left for work one day with the old mailbox still in place and when I got home that afternoon there it was, the beautiful shiny new mailbox installed and that old thing was no where in site. Made me smile and added SO much to our curb appeal. The small delivery and install fee is well worth it! I would highly recommend this company.

I would give them top marks. The work was top notch, as were the materials, however, there was a surprise fee for delivery.

I spoke with Tim several times before finalizing our mailbox plans. He was always extremely helpful with plans and very patient as I asked many questions about his products. We are extremely happy with his professionalism and the new mailbox is lovely!! Tim himself was here at my house before 7 a.m. to remove the old mailbox and install the new one. We would very highly recommend Mailbox Pro--please do give them a call!

We contacted Mailbox Pro from Angie's list. The owner was responsive in returning a call, could give an estimate over the phone, and followed up the next Saturday with a new mailbox. Installed new one, hauled away old one. And the letter carrier, Ron, thanked me on behalf of all of the letter carriers! LOL!

They did a really good job. I told him I found him on Angie's List and he even gave me a discount. He was there when he said he would be and completed the job quickly.

Arranged everything over the phone after reviewing the web site. Showed up and installed everything just as he indicated he would.

This company absolutely gets it. They completely unserstand what customer service is and how to exicute. Someone ran over my mailbox late Saturday night, I was flying out of the country on Sunday. I did a web search, responded to their website, got a reply and quote, contracted with them....all from the airplane on Sunday. Then I got an email stating that they would go out and put up a temporary box for me at no additional cost. They came out cleaned up the smashed box and installed the temporary, all that Sunday afternoon. For the new mailbox they matched the paint and script on the mailbox and reinstalled it about a week later. Incredible service.......wish everyone took their business and customer service this seriously. Thanks for exceeding my expectations !!!

Tim was very responsive! Our mailbox door had fallen off & we were having 50 mph winds. We had been waiting for Spring to replace it after Winter had passed. I contacted Tim & placed our order to replace our existing mailbox. Tim said he would have the old one removed & hauled away & the new one installed by this weekend. He came by after the phone call & put on a temporary mailbox, with a working door, to hold us over until today!). We couldn't ask for better service! What a pleasant experience - Thanks Tim!

He was experienced in doing it and he was flexible with us. He did a great job. He was quick and provided an interim mail box, for the in-between time and painted it. We were very happy.

We had Tim install a mailbox at our new home. I emailed Tim and he directed me to his website for selection of style, color, etc. I gave Tim the specifications, marked the location of the new mailbox and gave him the day that we would need the mailbox installed. As has been my previous experience with Tim, the box arrived on time, per specifications and is installed in the exact location requested. This is my second experience with Tim and I am very impressed. He does what he says he is going to do WHEN he says he is going to do it....quite a rarity among contractors these days. I would (and have) highly recommend Tim for any type of mailbox installation or repair.

The post was broken and the mail box was also replaced. He did the work before requiring the payment. My husband actually forgot to make the payment for several months and we weren't hassled, just gently reminded that the payment was outstanding.

Very satisfied. Would recommend him.

Overall am very happy with the products and service. The quality of the material and job performed were very good. This is the second time using this company and would definately recommend to others.

I called Tim and told him I wanted a medium size Mailbox installed as a house warming gift for a relative. I was not certain as to best colors to use, only having been to the house once. Having used the MailBox Pros twice before I told Tim he could make the color choices. Tim drove by the home, called me a day or so later with his recommendations, the mailbox was installed a few days later.... and it looks great! Tim and I have made a 1st time home owner very happy.
