Description of Work: Ordered levolor cellular shades for 2 windows in my family room. The installer Jim came on time as promised. He was nice enough to take away my old valnces and drapes. One of the shades was shorter than measured, fault of Levolor, but Lowes ordered its replacement right away. I'm still waiting for the replacement. Lowes mentioned 2-3 weeks.

Description of Work: We purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's in late November. When they installed the items there was an accident while testing the washer causing some water to come out of the back of the washer. Our bedroom is adjacent to the laundry room and this water went under the wall and saturated a small area of the BR carpet (3' X 8'.) The Lowe's delivery manager told me to get a restoration company to do the cleanup and that Lowe's would reimburse me. (He did NOT tell me to get any estimates from a couple of companies.) The work ended up costing $670.52 which I paid. Now, Lowe's is balking at paying the total amount. They are only offering to pay $200. I agree that the amount seems a tad excessive but I was following their instructions. Now I realize that this is an unusual situation. But Lowe's caused the problem and I followed Lowe's instructions on getting it rectified. I maintain that Lowe's owes me the total amount, not $200.
