Love the new patio area under the deck. Much easier to keep clean than the gravel. The price was the least of three quotes and I couldn't have asked for a nicer finished project.

They were prompt and professional. The mortar repairs appear to be strong and likely to hold up well. My only somewhat negative comment is that I would have liked a better match with the existing mortar, but I have not lowered my rating because of this, since I am sympathetic with the difficulty in matching mortar that may be 150 years old!

They did an okay job. There were some places that we had to call them back out to do as they were not done. I thought the joint work was not well finished.

Awesome, quick, excellent job of repointing brick foundation around historic home. Softer bricks used in 1880's require specific analysis of mortar. Using too firm of a mortar can crumble the bricks. This company accurately selected the right mortar, matched width of existing mortar. After 2 weeks, we couldnt tell the new from the old. We have had no leaks, and the work is beautiful.

When they contacted me, I talked to them about repairing the porch steps that were falling apart. I had explained that I wanted the bricks to match and I even had my own bricks for him to use. He did a good installation, he did exactly what he was supposed to do, except that he used his own bricks and they don't match.

They made the repair w/o me being involved after our phone conversation.

The fours hours of allotted time wouldn't be enough to get the work complete. It took me three calls before I could get a hold of them.

It was done quickly and appropriately. They did what I asked them to do and the prices were reasonable.

Jeff is a great guy and very easy to work with. He handled all of the up-front work, estimates, and design ideas for our patio. He provided many options for materials, and he also wasn't shy about giving his opinion on what he thought would look the best. He provided a full quote and a small drawing of the planned work, so I could submit the proposal to my HOA. The price was a little higher than we expected, but still reasonable. We payed 50% up front and 50% upon completion of the project. The on-site workers were led by a site foreman. We had a 3-4 person team at the house off and on for about 4 days. Overall we were very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the crew. The workers did not come into the house at all during the project. During the project, we encountered a few problems: 1. The patio we/Jeff designed was not symmetrical, and when the crew first carved out the area, they did it backwards. Jeff was pretty embarrassed by this, and he actually came out to re-lay the base layers himself, to ensure that it was correct. 2. During the project, someone from the crew accidentally put a hole in the screen on our back porch screen door. Jeff was apologetic about this, and he replaced the full screen on the door. Jeff came out near the end of the job to do a final walkthrough. During our walkthrough, we identified a few areas where the team did poor quality work. Jeff agreed to have them fixed, and had had his all-purpose guy come out to do the touch-ups and fixes about 2 weeks after the crew left. Jeff agreed that we wouldn't pay him the final owed until we were 100% satisfied. Jeff provided a 2-year warranty on the work. After about 1 year, we asked him to come back out and fix one area of the edging that was coming up. He agreed to do this, and scheduled someone to come out about 3 weeks later to resolve the issue. The only problem with the project was Jeff's responsiveness. He seemed very overloaded, and we felt that he could have used some kind of secretary. Most notably, the start date for the project was moved around and pushed back a few times. This happened again when we had him come out for the warranty fix. We felt Jeff could have used an assistant or secretary to help with organization and scheduling. Although we are very happy with the product itself, we felt a B rating was the best we could give, due to a bit of frustration in communication.

They came by to do the services when I was not home. He used white grout instead of concrete gray grout to match the sidewalk. We did not a chance to talk in person about what I wanted to have done.

They work that they did was fine. There seemed to be a little bit of a mix up on what was going on. We thought that there would be an estimate, but they came and got right to work, which wasn't what I was expecting. Everything turned out ok in the end.

They cleaned out the loose mortar and put in fresh concrete patch mix. The job went well. The cracks have remained sealed almost a year later. Wouldn't hesitate on using them again.

He quoted $8000 to build the deck. We accepted the job. We bought the lumber directly, and were to pay him for his work. He had the lumber delivered yesterday, and when we got home, he only had 36 posts delivered. He had said it needed 96 posts. He said he planned to cut them in half, which would've been below standard. The man told us he didn't quote that, but he had. This morning, he sent us a text saying he wasn't going to do our deck. He now won't return our calls, and we have $3000 of wood sitting in our back yard.

The first time I called, he didn't call back. The second time I called, he returned my call and even came out for the estimate. He said he could do the job and would be back in a couple of weeks. He never showed, so I called him, but couldn't reach. I have since cancelled the big deal.

They arrived on time went about their work with competency and professionalism. When they were finished, they graded the area torn up by the front loader and otherwise cleaned up the area where they had worked. Again, I am very pleased with their work.

We had never met Jeff Leveridge before and were given his name from a friend after receiving three bids on the job (none of which impressed us all that much). The day Jeff showed up to give us his thoughts and quote us, we knew he was our guy. Jeff spent a considerable amount of time giving us options and telling us what would look good. We had no idea where to start (as our backyard was a 30 year old mess), and he guided us through the whole thing. We basically put the project in Jeff's hands and told him to run with it and could not be happier with the outcome. Jeff did more work than agreed upon as the project progressed (to make it look nicer) and the price we paid never changed as much as $1. If you are doing a patio or concrete project at your house and you don't give Jeff Leveridge a call, you are doing yourself an injustice. Jeff was physically here almost every day. Project took only 7 working days to complete (demo was about 1.5 days and the new work 5.5 days). The crew was here every morning at 8-8:30am and worked all day. Crew was very friendly and our kids loved watching them. At the end of the project we had a few "loose-ends" to clean up and the guys were here the very next morning to make sure they were done. I can't stress it enough, Jeff KNOWS what he is doing.........give him a call, best call you will ever make! We are excited for our first cookout on our new patio this weekend........oh and smores after dinner in our new gas fire pit!

I took advantage of the Angie's List Big Deal in November 2011 for Masonry services from Leveridge, Inc. because I needed some additional tucking done on a brick rental home that I own. The price was excellent for three hours of work. I contacted the company in early December, reviewed the work that was to be done on the side and back of the house with the owner and he scheduled the work to be done in a week or two. The work was completed in December, as stated. I went by the house a few days after the work had been done, and I wasn't totally pleased with what I saw. It was not the neatest work that I'd seen, but since it was on the side and back of the house I didn't stress over it. Months passed and during the first week of March, I went over to the house and inadvertently some leaves that were obsuring the bricks at the base of the house in the back were kicked away, and the mess that I saw was awful. It looked as though after the intial tucking had been done the worker had wiped the left over mortar on his/her work tool over the bricks at the base and it was piled on very thick, not tucked at all and it looked very sloppy. I have since written the company owner, Jeff Leveridge, an email with an accompanying picture of the work that I'm complaining about.

Contacted Jeff Leveridge. (Big Deal of the Day - $99 for up to 4 hours of work). He was very responsive, did a great throough job. Very pleased with his work.

The prices were fair. The workers were gentlemen. They were always on time. They didn't make any mistakes. The price was exactly what they quoted.

They did the work that was requested for the price, but I had to point out things that we had agreed to that the crew wasn’t addressing/had missed. They did get all of it accomplished, but I had to make sure everything was done that we had discussed.

We enjoyed working with Jeff Leveridge of Leveridge Landscaping Inc. He took us to a number of projects he had finished and some he was presently working on which was nice because we could ask questions about time, quality, fees and finish times. We were very happy with our results and Jeff brought a lot of new ideas to our project. Although the job took longer than expected, I would be happy to work with him again. We are very happy with end result.

We were in the middle of a kitchen/den remodel when we saw the Angie's List deal for masonry repair. The timing couldn't have been better because the brick on the face of our fireplace hearth in the den was desperately in need of cleaning. It was filthy from the soot and smoke buildup over the years. We called Leveridge and, even though it was slightly out of their normal scope of work with it being an indoor project, they took the job on. With our remodel currently in progress, we had a very narrow window of time to work with. Even though Jeff was inundated with a ton of other responses to the deal, he managed to fit us in and we were able to coordinate things with all parties involved. Fortunately for us everything in the room was torn out down to the studs so they were able to use their powerful cleaning chemicals without worrying about damaging anything surrounding the fireplace. After a few days had passed they came back and repaired a loose brick. The end result was great. When the remodel is done it'll be hard to tell whether the fireplace is new or old. Thanks again to Jeff and his guys for getting us in on such short notice. We really appreciate it. We'll definitely keep them in mind for any outdoor projects that might come up in the future.

This contractor offered Angie's list Big Deal and got many accepting the deal. Still, he promptly completed tuck pointing in my basement so that additional foundation work could be performed on time by another contractor. Owner came to look at the wall and determine size of job and came the day of the job to inspect. It was completed within a week. They cleaned up well before leaving. Looks great.
