dry cleaning
+ -1 moreNeedless to say, it isn't going well. The owner, although apologetic enough, doesn't realize that one does not run a business this way. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Carmel Cleaners. There are many other businesses in town who provide the same services.
Description of Work: I have my dry cleaning picked up and delivered at home. I pay every month with a check on the date that I receive my bill. In May, I received a call stating that my credit card was charged. I never gave them a credit card for my account. Upon speaking with the owner, I learned that she had gone back into her database, and pulled out my debit card number, and charged my May bill to that card, without any authorization what so ever. I called the owner and expressed my outrage at this event She apologized profusely, but clearly does not understand her billing system. I don't even know if she understands the legal implications of her actions. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one from the bank.

+ -1 moreI asked them about a dance costume, and they were very honest to tell me they would not attempt it. He is very particular, and they are very honest about working on stains, and if they think they can get it out. Price is a approximate, depending on the item.
Description of Work: They have dry cleaned a man's suit, trousers, a blazer, and women's skirts.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THESE WERE OLDER, ANTIQUE SATIN DRAPES. THEY HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR AWHILE. THERE WERE SOME SPOTS THAT HE COULD NOT GET OUT, BUT THE OVERALL EFFECT WAS THAT HE DID A REALLY NICE JOB. I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPARE TO, BUT I FEEL HE WAS QUITE REASONABLY PRICED.
Description of Work: I TOOK 2 PAIRS OF DRAPES TO THEM TO BE CLEANED. ONE PAIR WAS QUITE LARGE.
