Responsive and did a good job on the quote that was clear and complete.

Larry promptly returned my call, came over to evaluate the situation, gave his recommendations and emailed a quote to me. He called the utilities before beginning the work. He carefully removed the sod and dirt and placed it on plastic next to the drain line. He had a difficult time removing the old pipe from under a brick sidewalk but took the time to do it right instead of taking any shortcuts. He measured the drop of the pipe so it will drain properly. He actually has it dropping more than required. He created a "French drain" at the end and drilled extra holes in the pipe toward the end so it won't hold water. When he finished, you didn't know he'd been there. He offered suggestions for other questions I had with other matters. He's very pleasant to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to have him do more work for me. In fact, he's going to hang a gate for me within the next week or two. Now, if it would only rain!

Great. He was the lowest of the 3 estimates that we received. He performed the work on a timely basis, kept to his estimate, and did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

He is excellent and I would recommend him to anyone. Years ago he poured two concrete sidewalks and built some concrete steps for me. He has also power washed my patio and my aluminum siding. He planted an annual garden for me last summer, including building a concrete retaining wall. He also cleaned the concrete away from a tree stump that was being pulled up, and gave me a curved patio design where the tree used to be. His prices are extremely reasonable. Unfortunately, he is looking for a less strenuous profession and has gone into the repair and construction of computers. I'm sure he is as good at that as he is at concrete and gardening. He still does manageable concrete and garden work.

Larry was quick to respond to the initial phone call, but the estimate that was promised for the next day was actually three weeks in arriving. The estimate was thorough, carefully spelling out the scope of the work. His prices are very reasonable, he is a really nice guy, but there are frustrations. He was a little late in starting the work. He did a great job of repairing the understructure of the cracked walk in three areas. He chose not to do, what I considered a needed fourth, a disappointment. Having used Larry before, I tried to be very clear this time that I wanted whatever work was necessary to be done, asking him to just price it for me. I never feel as though what he does is quite enough. He is careful, polite, considerate, but slow in his work. Taking two weeks to complete this project, working short days and not showing up at all one day, with no phone call to explain why. He worked hard to match old bricks, but mortar match was not as good as last time.

Mr. Pittman did an excellent job. The estimate was thorough and accurate. He responded within 24 hours to our phone calls. His work was well done, completed within the time frame and cleaned up so well you can't even tell it was done. He needed to hand dig the trench through the lawn and the grass was replaced intact so none of it died.

He came out in November and gave me an oral quote. I told him I needed a written quote to give to my insurance company. They were supposed to mail it to me, but I never received it. I called them again last week (April) and left a message, but got no response. I still have not received the quote in writing.

Mr. Pittman sent us a detailed proposal shortly after his initial visit to check out our problem. Once we hired him, Mr. Pittman came when he said he would and did what he said he'd do. I love finding service providers who do that! He took ''before'' and ''after'' photos of our project and sent them to us so we could see the stages of his work we missed. We found him to be knowledgeable, honest, straightforward, and well informed about a variety of other areas. (In the course of conversation with him we got some useful advice about a fuel oil tank issue as well as how to speed up our sluggish computer!) We would not hesitate to contact Mr. Pittman again for future jobs.

CONNECTING WITH MR. PITTMAN WAS VERY, VERY DIFFICULT, BUT HAVING USED HIM BEFORE AND KNOWING THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK, I WAS PERSISTENT IN TRYING TO REACH HIM. HE WAS VERY APOLOGETIC ABOUT NOT RETURNING MY INITIAL CALLS. ONCE MR. PITTMAN COMMITTED TO DOING THE JOB, HE SHOWED-UP, DID A GOOD JOB, AND WAS PLEASANT TO WORK WITH.

WE CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE TO HAVE OUR FLAGSTONE WALK REPAIRED. MR. PITTMAN CAME, LOOKED AT THE WALK, DESCRIBED WHAT WOULD NEED TO BE DONE, AND SAID HE WOULD EMAIL THE ESTIMATE THE NEXT DAY. HE ALSO ASSURED US THAT HE WOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE WORK THIS FALL. WE NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN, ALTHOUGH WE DID RECALL TO MAKE SURE HE HAD WRITTEN THE ADDRESS CORRECTLY. WE REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW HE CAN RETAIN AN "A" RATING WITH THIS TYPE OF RESPONSE.

LARRY WAS POLITE AND KNEW HIS STUFF. HE WAS REASONABLY PRICED AND DID GOOD WORK.

LARRY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE CAME OUT QUICKLY AFTER I CALLED HIM, AND WAS ABLE TO START THE WORK RIGHT AWAY. UPON SEEING MY JOB DURING HIS ESTIMATE, HE SUGGESTED THAT HE COULD CUT AWAY SOME EXCESS CONCRETE FOR ME. I HAD LOOKED INTO RENTING A CONCRETE SAW AND DOING IT MYSELF, BUT HE OFFERED TO DO IT FOR ME FOR A LITTLE BIT EXTRA THAN JUST THE TUCK POINTING WORK. HIS PRICE WAS EXTREMELY FAIR, AND HE DID A VERY NICE JOB. HE WAS ON TIME, POLITE, AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN, AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

VERY METICULOUS JOB. BEAUTIFUL RESULTS. EXACTLY AS LARRY DISCUSSED WITH US.

LARRY DID THE WORK HIMSELF. IT WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN TWO WORKING DAYS. HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND STUCK TO THE SAME PRICE EVEN WHEN HE FOUND THAT THE DRAIN HAD TO BE DUG THROUGH A SPAGHETTI OF UTILITIES. HE IS THE CONSUMMATE DRAIN GUY ! HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO KEEP ON TOP OF HIM AS HE IS A ONE MAN BAND AND SOMETIMES CALL BACKS/ SCHEDULING WERE A LITTLE UNRELIABLE. IF YOUR JOB CAN BE DONE ON A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE THEN I GUESS THAT YOU WOULD BE VERY PLEASED WITH LARRY PITTMAN. CLEAN UP ETC WAS ABSOLUTELY FIRST CLASS. WE ARE VERY PLEASED AND WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN - GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

I SPOKE WITH MR. PITTMAN AND HE SAID HE WOULD COME TO OUR HOUSE TO EVALUATE THE WORK. HE DID NOT COME ON THE APPOINTED DAY AND FAILED TO RETURN ANOTHER PHONE CALL.

HE WAS ON TIME AND ON QUALITY. HE DID A GREAT JOB.

LARRY DESCRIBED THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM TO ME IN DETAIL, SO THAT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT OPTIONS WERE AVAILABLE. HE CUT OUT AND REPLACED THE BRICKS THAT SHOWED SIGNS OF PROBLEMS, BUT DID NOT REPLACE THE BRICKS THAT APPEARED TO BE FINE. WELL OVER ONE-HUNDRED BRICKS WERE CUT OUT AND REPLACED (IT IS A BIG PORCH). HE DID A NICE JOB OF MATCHING THE BRICKS. THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS GREAT, AND HE TOOK MEASURES TO PREVENT FUTURE PROBLEMS. LARRY WAS COURTEOUS, PROMPT AND LEFT NO DEBRIS. HIS PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE, AS WELL. I AM PLEASED TO RECOMMEND HIM.

PROMPT RESPONDING TO REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE. ESTIMATE WAS MUCH LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES FOR THE SAME JOB. LARRY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DEPENDABLE. HE WAS AT THE JOB SITE EVERYDAY WEATHER PERMITTING, UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. IT WAS QUITE EVIDENT THAT HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HIS PROFESSION AND TOOK PRIDE IN HIS WORK. HE GUARANTEES HIS WORK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS NEEDING BRICKWORK AND WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.

MR. PITTMAN WAS PROMPT IN HIS RESPONSES, COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE; BUT WE ULTIMATELY CHOSE ANOTHER COMPANY WHEN WE LEARNED OF SOME ADDITIONAL MASONRY WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE ON OUR CHIMNEY, WHICH MR. PITTMAN SAID HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO.

LARRY DID A NEAT JOB OF INSTALLING DRAINAGE TILE IN OUR FRONT YARD. WE WERE NOT HOME AT THE TIME TO SEE THE WORK. HE TOOK PICTURES OF THE JOB & SENT THEM OVER THE INTERNET. POOR ON CALL BACKS.

I THOUGHT HE WAS RUDE TO ME ON THE PHONE (AS IF I AM A DUMB FEMALE WHO UNDERSTANDS NOTHING ABOUT HIS LINE OF WORK, MAYBE I AM NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE, BUT I DON'T THINK IT REQUIRES BEING SPOKEN TO THAT WAY.)

I CALLED THEM FOR ADDITIONAL WORK AND DID NOT HEAR BACK. MY ASSUMPTION IS THAT THE JOB WAS TO ''SMALL'' FOR THEM TO BOTHER WITH.

WE CALLED TWICE AND HE NEVER RETURNED OUR CALLS.

THIS GUY KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT, DID WHAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO AND CHARGED A FAIR PRICE! HIS CLEANUP WAS GREAT, TOO. HE TOOK ON A JOB THAT MOST CONTRACTORS REFUSED TO EVEN ESTIMATE FOR ME. HIRE HIM!

I CALLED HIM THE DAY AFTER RECEIVING THE ESTIMATE AND WE AGREED TO DO THE WORK. HE WAS TO CALL BACK LATER THAT WEEK WITH A TIME FRAME TO DO THE WORK. HE DIDN'T. I CALLED HIM BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO SEE WHAT THE PLANS WERE AND LEFT A MESSAGE TO CALL ME BACK, NO RESPONSE. THIS WENT ON ANOTHER FIVE TIMES WITHOUT A REPLY. I FINALLY CALLED HIM ON A SUNDAY AND REACHED HIM PERSONALLY. HE SAID THAT HE WAS TOO BUSY TO DO OUR AGREED UPON WORK, BUT WOULD REFER ME TO SOMEONE ELSE. HE SAID HE WAS TOO BUSY TO RETURN A PHONE CALL BACK TO ME. (NOW THAT IS REALLY BUSY!). I LOST 2 MONTHS ON MY PORCH REPLACEMENT DUE TO HIS UNRESPONSIVENESS AND LACK OF COURTESY!! I WOULD NEVER HIRE HIM IN THE FUTURE. YOU PROBABLY WOULDN'T GET A CALL BACK ANYWAY!! EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE.
