Langenwalter - Marion & Hamilton

Great. I was leery about using steam cleaning. Years ago, i used a dry type treatment. (Sorry I don't remember what it was called.) It left carpets and upholstery quite dry by the time they left. Kerman's Flooring had recommended Langenwalter's, so I decided to give them a try. They were very professional and courteous from beginning to end. Got a favorable appointment time before Christmas (and AFTER our granddog moved out ; ) Steve, the technician, went over all the areas, told me how much it would cost before beginning the work. They have a very good reputation around town, and he did a great job. There was a red paint stain that he worked on, but it didn't come completely out. I knew ahead of time that it may not, but couldn't hurt to try. It looks much better than it did. Steve was up front with me about the process. Some areas were still damp at the end of the day as I expected, but most had dried much sooner than I thought they would. I'm a convert. It worked better than I thought. He also left a bottle of stain remover I can use in the meantime as the need arises. The only improvement I could make would be to have a door cover. It was a freezing cold day and the hose had to run out an open door. I threw a fleece blanket up there that helped some, but duct cleaner companies have a great door block that fits the door opening and has a cut out for the hose. It would really help. The work takes some time, and I got chilled. Brrr. Overall, though, I would call them again and recommend Langenwalter.

The team did a great job and really helped us through the process. We had a sump pump overflow in our finished basement and it was a big deal and surprise for our family of 5. Langenwalter's team arrived onsite and went right to work. They really did a quick job of things and made sure we understood what they were doing and why. I also must say the team that came here were nice and my family felt comfortable with them coming and going why they were home. (that's a big deal to me) The install of the carpet pad and carpet could not have gone better, we were very happy with how things turned out. I also have to share that the office staff was really great to in helping us with our homeowners insurance and the billing. For something that was a stressful, they helped make it less stressful I'm glad we called them and I'm hoping we never have the same issue again but if we do, I'm definitely going to call!

Great! I was first call, and Johnny arrived on time and got right to work. Rooms done were family, dining, living, master bedroom, stairway and upstairs hallway and 2 runners. Johnny also applied the carpet protector solution after cleaning. Within a few hours, all the carpets were clean and spotless. Johnny is very knowledgeable and respectful of property. Langenwalter has specials during the year and has an Angie's List discount. They are very easy to work with for scheduling. I use them at least once a year.

Jay always does a wonderful job when he cleans our carpets, which he has done for many years. He calls ahead and arrives on time as schedules, he does extraprep in areas I request, turns off lights and turns on fan in each room when he is finishing. He is always very courteous and friendly, and asks to ensure that I am happy with the work he has done. I will continue to use Langenwalter for all of my carpet cleaning needs, as I have done for manny years!

Due to circumstances with dog sitting services in August and in October, we needed dog soiled spots cleaned. Langenwalter recommended two different types of applications be used because of close proximity in time between cleaning. What we discovered is that odors were not removed after each cleaning; that our dog retuned to the same spots. We rented carpet cleaning equipment to redo the spots. That has worked.

They are punctual, and easy to work with. They are pleasant when they are in the house. He puts plastic between the carpets and my furniture legs, which is important to not get markings on my carpet.

They did a great job. Jay was outstanding. We are calling them back. They do good, quality work at a reasonable price. He is efficient, and shows up when they need to. I feel good about the Angie's List rating. There are 4,000 people that rated it an "A". They schedule it, and call you before they come. He had wall protectors so he wasn't rubbing against them with the wand.
