Description of Work: I needed someone to come and look at my existing home entertainment components and recommend updates/ integration. I had an old-fashioned projection television that was set into a wall; the television was on the fritz and needed to be replaced. I also I had a satellite system and a surround sound system. Keith made recommendations for specific equipment for things that needed to be replaced and incorporated components where feasible and workable. He also made suggestions for what I should do with the wall that had an inset and was honest that I needed to hire a contractor to do that part of the work. Keith was initially going to purchase and deliver the equipment -- which is what I wanted -- until I found a sale with the exact same equipment with a discount (as a Best Buy Premium customer). Keith was completely unfazed and adjusted the quote accordingly. On the day of the install, Keith was flexible in making recommendations, getting additional equipment and even driving a significant distance to get a missing part. He also removed the old equipment (an old projection television down three flights of stairs through some tight corners). After the installation, the cable company came and "messed up parts of the install". I called Keith at home and he walked me through the steps to restore the system; he also offered to come back out to resolve any problems. I have already recommended Keith to others and would not hesitate to do so again.

Description of Work: Keith did a terrific job mounting my HDTV...it looks great and he spent the extra time to really pay attention to the details. I'm really picky when it comes to "neatness" and Keith made even me, extremely pleased with the results. I would recommend Keith to anyone for any home theater needs...

Description of Work: I originally called Keith out to look at problems I was having getting outside speakers to work properly. They are connected to our stereo inside. Keith fixed that problem rather easily, but also suggested we consider a SONOS system that was much more stable than our current setup plus would provide use with way more possiblities (e.g., listen to any web streamed radio, listen to different things inside and out, control with smart phone, etc., etc). His approach was very low key and professional - not pushy at all - and he patiently went over several different options with me. We decided on one of those options. He installed it. Explained how to use it then went on his way. Well, then problems started. Part of it was my own lack of technical savvy and patience, but part of it was an error he made on the install as well. Bottom line, I never felt like I was being had. He remained patient and professional throughout the process and fixed it. He even offered to replace my current tuner with another working one for free if that was the problem. It is obvious to me that Keith is commmitted to excellence and the true test of that is when something goes wrong. Though I had my doubts at times about the product, I never had doubts that he would make it right one way or another. Everything is working splendidly now. I would recommend Keith to a friend without hesitation.

Description of Work: I received an estimate for a small AV install. The cost included a 30-ft. HDMI cable that he wanted to charge $279 for (not including labor). Sure, the cable was "professional grade", but you can get the same length / grade from a local distributor for $30-50. I did not accept the bid.

Description of Work: Keith is a very conscientious person. We liked him from the start. He is honest and very professional. We had no problem with him working in our home while we were at work. He was upfront with us regarding the best system to use and the costs. There was nothing hidden. We believed that he worked with us to get something we could afford and to get the best deal we could get. He spent an abundent amount of time working with us to get the right system for our home. Keith has intergrity and we highly recomend him.
