This time, as a result of a flooded basement, we needed help replacing some of the equipment, plus we upgraded our home audio system to interface with our IPad. It works beautifully. Ketih is one a few handful on contractors who I trust completely and recommend without hesitation! He is consciensious and will go out of his way to ensure your satisfaction with the end result.

I would never have any other Home Theater System company in my home except for Kleeco Audio/Video. I especially appreciated the explanations on how to use the equipment and the company made sure that everything was working properly before leaving my home. Company was extremely professional, competent, current, and pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: Home Theater Systems was not working properly (due to another company that did not hook-up my equipment correctly in the first place). Specifically, I had TV and remote programmed, installed HDMI Cable correctly, adjusted woofer, balanced audio in room, connected TV internet for various Apps, including Netflix, installed wireless router, and re-installed printer drivers after new router was installed.

+ -1 moreWe met Keith at the Home Show and we were very impressed with the neatness and quality of his display. We explained the situation with our existing system and asked him to come out to give us an estimate to get it working. When he came out to our house, we explained all of the problems (some of which we didn't even think there could be a resolution without replacing the entire system). He offered an innovative approach using an Application for the iPad and iPhone to control the entire system. Per our request, he also integrated a BluRay player and AppleTV into the system, making it even more useful. It's simple, user-friendly, and customized to meet our needs. I am impressed with Keith's knowledge, creativity and most importantly, his integrity. We are extremely happy with the result!
Description of Work: Keith fixed our existing whole house audio system and the surround sound in our family room, which was installed by another vendor and never worked properly. He simplified the components, cleaned up all the wires, and installed a universal remote to work on the iPad and iPhones which controls the entire system. He also installed a BluRay player, AppleTV, and filter (which greatly improved the quality of the picture on our TV).

+ -1 moreThe process was great. To begin, Keith was always very attentive and informative. Our bookshelves provided some obstacles and he kept coming up with alternatives and different ideas to stay within our budget and to make sure we were happy with the outcome. He arrived on Monday and adapted to changes and additions we made during the install. He answered all of our questions and if he didn't know the answer he would call the distributor/manufacturer. He also did a nice job cleaning up. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Description of Work: Keith installed a TV in our bookshelf. He put the TV on an articulating arm and moved our components into our window seat so they wouldn't be seen.

Description of Work: Keith responded immediately to a call regarding the universal remote that we purchased from him last year. He walked us through correcting the problem over the phone so that we could use the remote and then was very prompt (I think within a day) presented us with a replacement remote while he sent this one in to get fixed. He brought the fixed remote back and made sure all of the programming was up to date on it and answered several questions on how to better use it. He actually made it easier to use than it already was!

Description of Work: Keith advised us regarding a new TV and DVD player that we wanted. He not only advised us personally when he was here fixing our Universal remote last moth, but he was available to us on the weekend by phone while we were shopping for the items above. He walked us through what we needed and what we didn't. He advised us on the warranty as well. He answered numerous calls and was extremely helpful. Once we purchased the above items he set up a time that was very convenient for me within two days and set up the new TV and DVD player and programmed them into the remote. He stayed and showed me how to use the items and all of the options available to us. He was amazing in the time and careful instruction he provided. He is also so available by phone to answer all questions, no matter how small so that we can have a better experience with the systems that we have.

+ -1 moreAs usual with Keith his work was exceptional. Our Blue Ray player had issues and was not working correctly. I contacted Keith and he recommended some things to try but the unit was bad so I asked Keith for availability to come reprogram a new one I had bought. Keith went out of his way to get us back up and running. He came and set up everything with the home theater so we can access internet applications and the video is better than the previous player. We had used Keith before a few months back and were impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. I would not consider anyone else. He is truly the best in the area!

+ -1 moreKeith Dodson came to do a free estimate and we scheduled the work within days. He was prompt, very conscientious, and extraordinarily personable. Keith explained each step of the process and took the time to tie each and every one of the long wires with ties to minimize the piles of chords and tangling. The picture on the television is now superior since he changed the settings for HD! Last, he made a diagram for each of the settings on television and periferal so all our family members could navigate to enjoy old VHS home movies, DVDs, Wii, etc. Keith is exceptionally competent, and truly understands customer service! Great job!

+ -1 moreWe started with a home site visit and dicussion. Keith then offered suggestions and options for improvements and a written quote. We agreed to a contract and scheduled the work. The job was more involved than we originally thought but we were kept completely up dated as to the situation and worked through it with Keith to a very positive completion. Keith was very easy to work with and very knowledgable. Our system performs better than we ever expected and is less complicated than ever. We have a few final tweeks to make as soon as parts are available but eveyrthing is woking now and these will only improve the situation. We will definately use Kleeco in the future.
Description of Work: upgraded and straightened out our whole house audio/video system. A previous company hired to upgrade our system did not correctly complete the upgrade. They actually left it only partially functional. Keith was able to upgrade our system and make everything work really well.

Keith informed us when he would arrive and explained in detail the problems and the solutions. He even came back to make sure the settings were exactly to our liking His knowledge and expertise alone set him apart from anyone else we have worked with. His work ethic is incredible in that he is always on time and extremely courteous. He is the type of worker that you wish you had for everything. He was fair and made sure everything was complete and we understood the system. I can't say enough about how great Keith is to work with. If you need any audio visual work you have to all Kleeco. He repaired everything that needed repairing and offered a various options to upgrade our system, when my husband inquired about upgrades. In short, he went above and beyond what I expected. I'm very pleased to have found someone who can service my system and deliver on his promises.
Description of Work: I called Kleeco to acquire and change the bulb in our home theater system. Kleeco stayed in touch, regarding the timing of getting the bulb, the time the work would be done etc. Everything was performed as specified. In addition, Kevin fixed my VHS, which I had been told by another technician would not be possible. He also discovered a problem with my sub woofer and offered a couple of options to address the problem.

He also informed me of available upgrades along the way and installed components that can be upgraded in the future. Keith even took the time to correct Directv's problem after their "experts" could not figure it out (see Directv report). Keith is punctual and will call if a situation occurs that prevents him from arriving at the promised time.
Description of Work: Keith Dodson, Owner, updated home sound system with RTI remote components. He also installed an in-line power conditioner which probably would have prevented the failure of my previous sound system preamplifier had it been installed by my original system installer.

More importantly, he listened to my needs and concerns and worked with me to put together a good quality system at a good price. He brought additional value by working with the sound system to optimize the settings so everything sounded great right out of the gate. Keith responded well to questions, was able to clearly state the reasons he selected certain products and why he recommended them but was very flexible in working with me. I will use Kleeco for any future installs without hesitation. Keith is very busy however and you will need some flexibility to get things done quickly. Keith was reasonably priced but there were some lower priced options out there, but I felt his ability to communicate outweighed an cost savings I might see with a different vendor.
Description of Work: Kleeco installed 5.1 surround in wall speakers for our home theater. They also setup and configured our receiver to work with the speakers.

+ -1 moreWe live in a 1938 home, making it difficult to route/hide wires in our plaster walls. Keith was creative and did a fantastic job of achieving our goal with minimal clean-up/repair to the walls & area in which he worked. He was extremely mindful of our home and was punctual, polite & cleaned up after the job so well that you would not have known he was there. Our project took twice the amount of time as quoted and Keith stood by his original proposal. He had to return the next day to install a part that wasn't functioning and was extremely accommodating to our schedules. I would use Keith in the future without a doubt.
Description of Work: Keith rerouted all of our cable components so that they would be discretely hidden (our TV is mounted about the fireplace).
