+ -1 moreI hired Julie to furnish our new house. We agreed upon a budget. Her process was slow - after several months she had drawn up plans and showed my different furniture options but had not looked at fabric, or rugs or drapes. I did not receive prices on the various furniture options till this point. When I added up the cost, it was well over my budget - somewhere between 250% - 400% (depending on which of her options I chose) of the agreed upon budget. When I expressed my concern, she indicated that we would start over looking at less expensive options, and that she wouldn't charge me extra (I had already paid over $10,000 in design fees). However, she never apologized for wasting 2 months of my time or for showing me furniture well out of my price range. Needless to say I decided to change designers, and have been very happy.

+ -1 moreFirst hr is free then 125 per hour. Over all she is very good! She is professional and always on time and I would use her again in the future and calling her a lot!
Description of Work: She came over and presented some ideas about ideas she can do for the house on our budget, then she came over to draw plans for all her rooms. She created the inventory that she needed and met with us and went through the plan designs.
