I know that my computer looks and works better than anytime since it was purchased. I can't thank them enough for caring enough to search throughout my computer hardware to find out what my problem(s) were and to correct them. It was one of the best experiences I have had working with a computer repair technician. He was professional, honest, direct, and made me feel that I had all the facts and information to make intelligent decisions. He could have just stopped with installing a new video card but because I had shared with him some concerns I had about what was going on with my computer, he took additional steps to find all that was wrong with my computer and I appreciate that kind of professionalism and commitment to excellence. I’ve taken two of our computers to IndyComp in the last month. Both times, I was very pleased with the results. The owner was extremely professional and knowledgeable about computers. This was important to me, because he was the one who was actually going to be doing the work. He diagnosed the problem with each computer, and then called me with his estimate to repair. He repaired my computers within a couple of days, and they are working better than ever. I would highly recommend IndyComp for any of your computer needs.

Excellent. I dropped off the computer, he called me that afternoon, I picked it up the next morning. It was jsut a worn out part on the keybaord, but he checked the computer out thoroughly.

IndyComp analyzed the problem and called with estimate to fix. On go ahead they ordered the part, installed and tested and called to me to let me know it was ready for pickup. Total time in the shop just over a week. I will definately use them again.

They removed the virus as promised as well as updating any software and generally cleaning the computer. I was impressed with the professionalism and thouroughness that was provided. I will definetely utilize for any future needs.

Fixed computer in record time. Got all files back in order and operating. Needless to say he fixed what I assumed would be a dead computer. Saved me from having to cough up an additional 300 to 500 for a new computer. Plus I don't have to go through all the hassles a new PC entails.

I called IndyComp and Alex was very helpful during the phone conversation. He explained what they would do, how long it would take and approximate cost. While I was on the line he checked to see if the part was in stock so he could tell me if I should bring the computer in right away or wait until the part came in. Alex was great and was very thorough in his explanations and his work. And I was only without the computer for one day! I would definitely consider future computer repair at IndyComp.

I was very impressed with the response beginning with my first phone call to IndyComp. My laptop computor suddenly would not turn on, it would not even begin to boot up. Alex did a complete diagnosis to find the problem rather than just guessing. The problem was a bad mother board. Alex gave me an accurate estimate for the replacement and time to decide to have the work done or not. Since I didn't want to purchase a new computer, I wanted to keep my XP operating system, and did not want reload all my programs, I decided to have him go ahead with the repair. I paid for diagnosis up front, but this cost was applied to the labor charge to replace the mother board and restore the laptop to full function. It turned out that my laptop used a mother board that was not widely used for this model computer. An exact model mother board was important to restore everything to pre-failure functionality. Alex at IndyComp applies a standard test, a test supplied by Lenovo, to the mother board prior to installing. The first board he recieved from his supplier of re-built Lenovo mother boards had not been tested by the supplier and failed the test. He then had the supplier test the other mother boards in stock prior to shipping a replacement part, none passed the test. Alex had to go to some length to find a stable mother board for my laptop, all this was done without extra charge to me. Once he found a board that passed the test, he had it express shipped to his shop, again without extra charge, he installed, tested and restored my laptop to beter than it's orginal functionality. Alex also followed up with a phone call after I had used the computer to be sure it was working correctly. I was extreemly happy with his attention to detail, professional manor and responsiveness.

My laptop had been running significantly slower, and then one day I received suspicious messages about a breach in my security software. I had used IndyComp before and knew that was the place to go for help. My problem was diagnosed the same day I took the computer in and was ready for pick-up the next day. It's running great!

Alex is excellent. Did tasks quickly and kept in touch with me and price and time to pick up. I will continue going to him.

The fan on my desktop computer was screeching. In fact, Windows XP would not load because of it. I had used Indy comp before to re-partition my hard drive and they did a good job with that when two other firms would not even attempt the re-partitioning. When I took in my computer tower Alex looked at it and gave an estimate with a 5% discount for Angie's List and for cash payment. He suggested cleaning also which I agreed upon. He called the next day and recommended that the CPU fan should also be replaced as the computer is six years old. I also agreed with that. When I came in to pick up the computer he had the computer running. The new fans were whisper quiet compared to the old fans which made a sound even when they were new. This made me very happy. He said that these replacement fans were better quality than the original equipment. He also had noticed that I had installed extra memory but had not configured the memory correctly. He had configured it and showed me how to do it in the future. He did not charge for this service. His configuration definitely has the computer running faster as well as more quietly. The shop is small and filled with equipment, computers, external drives, monitors, etc. so people looking for large space, carpeted floors, and decor aren't going to find that. What they are going to find is knowledgeable personnel that can get a computer up and running again in a very short time.

Excellent experience. I have my own business and my laptop is my lifeblood. Upon hearing that, Alex told me he would make it a rush job. I had a quote in less than 4 hours and was picking up my fixed laptop within 24 hours of dropping it off. And, for a few dollars less than the quote. Plus, he made my computer work 27% faster without even being asked (or charging for it). Very professional and knowledgeable. Will use IndyComp for all future computer work.

Nothing to tell. Walked in, left computer, okayed estimate on telephone, picked it up less than 48 hours later. Very much enjoyed solving world problems with Alex.

I am having difficulty judging the level of work performed. Initially, my computer seemed to be more responsive, but within a few weeks, I was experiencing the same issues regarding slow processing, etc. While I do not believe the age of my computer, about 4 years old, should be the problem; it may be a contributing factor. Bottom line, I expected more out of the $220 that I spent to take care of these issues and I did not expect to have to consider having another computer expert look at my performance issues so quickly.

They kept us apprised of what they were doing and what costs would be. They tried to reconfigure to our wishes.

The person at Indycomp, within one day of having my computer, called to let me know how much it would cost to fix the identified problem. Once he had the "go ahead", the work was completed within 24 hours.

They do really good work for a fair price.

Called them based on Angie's List rating. They diagnosed my machine and informed me what my options were. After choosing which path to take, they performed the tasks that I asked for in the time promised.

When I brought my laptop to IndyComp, Mike took detailed notes on the problems I experienced with my laptop. After the first day, Mike gave me an estimate after diagnosing the problem. He was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. They found that my hard drive had bad sectors, and they were able to fix the issues with the sectors. My computer has been running very well since I had it fixed (as good as it ran when I first bought it!). I highly recommend IndyComp for computer repair.
