It went very well. Brian worked us in earlier than we expected. He did a great job and the deck looks like new again.

I found Brian on Angie's List and asked for a quote on their web site. I heard from Brian the same day and he came out the next day and gave me a quote and was ready and did the job right then and there. The deck looks like new and it is 10 years old. Great work, great responsiveness, would definitely recommend and use him again.

I called Brian last week and he immediately responded and was out the same day to give me a quote. Our deck had become very dirty over the winter and we are having a large group of people this weekend and needed to have the deck cleaned and preferably the stain removed as well. The deck was new in 2012. Brian indicated that he would come the week of March 25 and get it done for us - obviously weather permitting. And then the snow came. Our deck was still covered today, March 27 in snow but Brian came out - dewinterized his equipment for us and first cleaned off the snow. He unwrapped the coverings on our large table and chairs - removed from our deck so he could clean the entire area. Then he proceeded to clean our deck and it looks as good as the day it was put in a year ago. He did a wonderful job - cleaning the deck and the stain without any damage to the wood. Another thing I value in Brian is his honesty in giving us information. We also want Brian to restain our deck. However, Brian pointed out that we may want to wait a couple weeks and see how we like it without stain - as cedar will last for years he pointed out. Rather than telling us we had to restain he gave us the information and allowed us to make the decision. I value this honesty highly in any contractor. We would highly recommend Brian without any reservation.

Had driveway and sidewalks sealed for 2nd time. They do a great job and are very professional. Will use again.

We have used Brian at another property we owned years ago and I was thrilled with the job he did then. I had lost his information and was happy to find him again on Angie's list so he could work on our current home. We had a cedar deck installed 4years earlier and have had continual problems, resulting in the installer refinishing it 3 times. It still didn't look good and was not done properly. Brian did a great job, explained the issues we were having due to the fact that the wood was cedar. He was professional and competent. He didn't remember us but once we started chatting in remembered our old deck at the prior residence! Our deck finally looks great, and now, even almost a year & a half later it still looks great. He gave us some info on maintenance issues and what it's going to take to keep our cedar deck looking great. We will definitely use him again when we need to do our upkeep on it.

My experience could not have been better. Brian came out the day after I called and quoted his price; he came a couple days later and washed; and sealed and stained the day after. He did a superb job, much better and more thorough than I would have even hoped for the price. I would recommend working with Brian to anyone looking at a similar project. A+++

I called and left a message that I needed to have my deck washed and painted. My call was returned promptly and Brian stopped by to see the work to be done. He left an estimate and I called him back to schedule the work to be done. There were questions about the paint color since I am required by my HOA to have a specific color. I purchased the paint and Brian washed the deck and returned two days later to paint the deck. He cleaned and painted the outside deck, the steps, the deck on the inside of the screen porch and the bannister around the outside deck. It looks so much better. It hadn't been painted for approximately 7 years. He did a good job, was neat, very responsive and I appreciated the timely communication from beginning to end.

After much research, and determining what it would cost to prep and stain the deck myself, I obtained a quote from Brian Mayes of Indy Deck Magic, and decided it was well worth the money to let a professional do the job (more efficiently and quickly than I could do it myself). Brian replied to my request promptly and arrived to give me an estimate. I was concerned about the adjacent pond, but the procedure Brian used was not even an issue. The work was scheduled in a timely manner, and Brian arrived as agreed and had the deck finished in a couple of days, using quality products. I couldn't be happier with the result; my old deck looks beautiful now.

Brain responded to my first inquiry by coming out to view and quote the project the very day I sent an email. that alone was fantastic. We set a service date for the next week. He knocked down all the bugs and cobwebs all over the outside with a ladder and a broom first.. then discovered and killed two active wasp nets. The screened porch has very tall ceiling which was one reason that I hired someone else to do this project. After he got the bugs down, he used a blower and blew all the debris out of the area.. He then washed down all the areas of he house including the screens, garage door and got those pesky wasp nets down. He even cleaned the grill grates from my gas grill. Brian worked quickly and was in and out in about 1 1/2 hour... I'm very happy with the work.

He did very good. He did some extra work by cleaning part of the roof and patio, and I did not even ask him to do that for me.

Needed deck cleaned/stained for a graduation party. Called about two weeks prior to the party and Brian came right out and provided a quote. Agreed on the services to be performed (and price). Brian adjusted his schedule and performed the power washing within 2 days and followed up the next week with the stain/deck treatment. All work was top quality and completely to satisfaction. Received many positive comments from the party guests about the look of the deck.

There was a problem with scheduling due to the amount of work that the company had already scheduled, so we did not get all the work done at one time. The deck washing was done first and was done well. Several weeks later, we finally got the house powerwashed. The results were good. The house looks good now. Our only complaint was the timeliness was not what we expected. The work, when done, was up to what we wanted.

BRian did a great job with the deck. He came to give me an estimate the day after I called and scheduled the job three weeks lat. fair price and good quality. Wll definitively use him again

Weather cooperated and Brian, power washed the deck, then returned two days later to spray apply oil based stain. Bill is Brian's helper and they finished the staining job in just a few hours. Deck looks terrific! I would recommend Brian to anyone. He, and Bill, are diligent workers who want the customer to be pleased with the outcome,,,,, which I was.

Brian did a great job pressure washing our house. We have a two story front porch with a lot of spider webs which he cleaned by hand. I called him at the last minute and he squeezed me in so I could have it done in time for a pool party. Very nice work and a lot cheaper than I paid someone else last time.

Brian was really great. He came out several months early to give me a free estimate and put me on his schedule. He called several days before the actual work to let me know when he would be here and how long it would take. He also told me to remove all of the furniture from the deck. Unfortunately I have two window boxes full of new flowers bolted to the deck railings. I could not remove the boxes without ruining the flowers. So he told me to cover them with plastic before he got there to do the staining the next day. He power washed the deck the first day ( and also washed my deck furniture). He told me he would be there at 1:00 the next day. He arrived right on time to do the staining and I only had plastic on the flowers while he was here. He also stained the window boxes to match the deck and left me a quart of stain for touch up whenever I can get the window boxes unbolted. Everything looks great. Brian was very careful with my plants, especially the newly planted tomator plants. The begonias in the flowere boxes look fine, and none the worse for wear. My deck looks almost brand new. He gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member.

Indy Deck Magic did a great job. Our deck was in poor shape and he was able to take off all the old stain; re-stain it and make it look like new. He did a great job and we definitely will use him again in the future.

Contacted Brian Mayes for an estimate. He came out the next day measured the deck, explained the deck cleaning/staining process and gave me an estimate. Brian put me on his schedule and was able to move me up because of other work he had in the area. He came and power washed the deck on a Monday, let it dry and returned on Wednesday to stain the deck. Brian did an outstaning job, the deck looks brand new.
