Some minor repairs were done on some cabinets that may have been done a little better. A piece of glass was reinstalled in a cabinet and the corner was broken off - it isn't visible outside the unit so it isn't a big deal really, but it feels less than top quality (8/10 perhaps). Flag was not hung with screws on the bottom of the holder so in the first storm the holder got torn up (8/10). Again, not a big deal, the big stuff they did really well on, installing the bead-board in a bedroom (9.5/10), getting the external faucet in and functioning (10/10), putting in the drop down ladder for the attic (10/10), replacing a ceiling fan (10/10). Over all, I'd give them a 92.5% out of 100%. So all in all, I'd say they did a good job and I would recommend them.

Very disappointing service. Attempted to reach out, no response. Would not recommend. After 3 weeks, I got a refund for the service.

I purchased a deal for handyman services. Two workers showed up to put this piece of furniture together. They worked quickly and finished within the agreed upon time frame.

We were very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism that we received.

We went with somebody else. I kind of liked it because the guy just seemed like a nice guy actually. He ended up being someone from our church. He came back fast with the estimate. We have a hard time getting people to do that so that was kind of impressive compared to people that they would just want to go with the insurance's estimate, and I didn't want them to just do that. I wanted them to come up with their own. I thought that was more clear and more honest. He seemed alright. I think he showed up when I wasn't expecting him to show up.

It went really well. Ken did a great job of coordinating the crew and keeping us informed. Next year we are planning on turning our back porch into an all-season room and will definitely call Home Experts to do the work.

- There was some email confusion. Ken Bennett came to give a quote and said he'd send a quote in a few days. When I contacted them a week later to ask about it, he said the email was returned and he didn't have a phone number for me. I'm not sure why he didn't use the Angie's List board since that was how I set up the appointment in the first place. - After emailing back and forth for clarification, he ignored any of my questions that asked about discounts (Angie's List, website, etc.). The last email I sent specifically asked for discount clarification and I haven't heard from him since. - There's also been no follow-up. I finally gave up trying to get answers and went with someone else. But they haven't even tried to contact me to see if I still wanted work done. - Even though Ken showed up in a timely manner for his appointment (although 15 minutes early), I'm going to have to give this company low marks for lack of professionalism and ignoring client questions.

Ken Bennett and his team at Home Experts was fantastic to work with. From the initial estimate process to the completion of the work. He was timely, priced right and professional. We would recommend Ken to anyone who needed like service completed and will use him again should the need arise.

The preparation phase was frustrating, as the contractor Ken Bennet did not really review my plans I sent over. I made my materials list and ordered the lumber. We settled on the date, and he sent his team to start the project (the guys were very good). I had emailed back and forth with Ken around the amount of time it would take to build, questions about the structure, and info on building permits,etc. All questions you would expect your contractor to know/understand. As we were finishing the project, my 40 hours ran out. I ended up paying additional money (about $800) to finish the project. This was frustrating, as I covered the project in advance and he had explained my $2100 would cover the build. We finished the project, and all seemed well. A couple weeks later, I received a notice on my front door from the City of Carmel. The notice explained that I needed to stop building and file for a permit. A permit that I confirmed via email that Ken advised I did not need. To make it worse, my HOA also mailed me and explained that I did not have a permit or permission to build this structure. After approximately 6 months of cooperation, filing forms and approvals, my structure was denied by the HOA for "not meeting the aesthetics of the community". I reached out to Ken about how he could not know I needed a building permit or permission, and he explained that was not his responsibility! He would not help in the resolution, and I am know left hiring another contractor to remove the roof and construct a pergola per HOA approval in the middle of winter. Not good.

Home Experts was very easy to work with. Ken is very professional, and we will certainly use them again.

Fellow showed up and did not seem to be interested in our small list. Lost my phone number. I called him a month later. Did not use this deal though we did pay. Learning experience I guess.
