Description of Work: Returned my emails and calls and gave me an estimate to remove old cabinets, fix the walls and install new cabinets in my garage.

Description of Work: Installed a new egress window in our basement. There was no window there previously, so they dug the hole, cut out and installed the window, trimmed and painted the interior and exterior, and installed timbers for the window well walls.

Description of Work: When my house was built, there was a shortcut made in the vert hookup for the clothes dryer using only a flimsy flexable pipe extending through the wall. The flexable pipe had deteriated over time and needed replacing. I wanted a solid vent pipe connected to the pipe that extended to the exterior of the house.

Description of Work: We needed repairs to both upstairs bathrooms and the ceiling of our dining room, which had mold as a results of slow leaks from the bathrooms. In bathroom 1, tile from the the shower/tub walls was damaged and the grout was absorbing water, allowing it to leak into the floor and cause mold and damage. They removed the tile and installed identical tile and grout in the walls of the tub/shower. They also added silicone to parts of the tub/tile to prevent water damage. They removed the old vinyl floor and subfloor; repaired/replaced it with new floor. This also involved removed the toilet and then reinstalling it. In bathroom 2, water was slowly seeping out of the shower threshold and leaking underneath the shower base, into the subfloor and the dining room ceiling. There was significant mold. They removed tile in the bathroom floor to repair/replace the damaged subfloor. They installed the tile back into this spot (using similar tile that we tried to match to our original tile). They basically reinstalled our standing shower, sealing areas with silicone and sealing the threshold/door to prevent even the most subtle leak/dripping. They removed the mold from the ceiling of the downstairs (under the bathroom) and treated any questionable areas to prevent mold from returning. There was an 8x2 foot hold in the ceiling as they began work; By the end we had a ceiling again, with nearly identical texturing to the rest of the ceiling. Someone also came and painted, matching the paint to the rest of the ceiling and doing touchups.

Description of Work: Home Experts installed fiber cement on our existing garage and removed old decorative molding and panels from the front. They then replaced this with new wood and moldings to keep the same look as before. In fact, it looks even better now than the original.

Description of Work: We purchased a foreclosed high-end home that was in considerable disrepair and had sat unmaintained for several years. Ken worked with us through the whole process. He was present during the home inspection and provided detailed explanations, advice and estimates for all items identified. He personally became familiar with every square inch of the house and all of the issues present. The second we closed on the house, he had crews out fixing all the major items needed for us to move in. While fixing the major defects, he and his crews freely offered to fix literally dozens of small maintenance items for no additional charge. He even offered to help move heavy furniture. The major work included replacing second floor porches, repairing disrepaired masonry, fixing/replacing gutters, fixing toilets and faucets that had be sitting unused for multiple years, discovering and fixing old plumbing leaks, and multiple drywall and electrical repairs.

Description of Work: Shortly after I bought my house, I found out that the windows weren't insulated and the few shreds of caulk on them didn't last more than six months. In fact the window exteriors were literally coming apart and developed dents from tree branches falling on the light-weight metal. Without insulation we could literally feel the air blow into the rooms.

Description of Work: They moved one of our kitchen cabinets upward to make room for a new refrigerator.

Description of Work: Repaired leaky roof, put in new ceiling under leak and painted it, installed new moulding on ceiling. Removed cabinet and installed moulding in bathroom, new grout in bathroom, removed all old hardware on kitchen cabinets and drilled new holes for new hardware, sanded holes, fixed electrical wiring outside house. Removed trees downed in storm, installed new hardware when painting was complete.

Description of Work: Opened up the porch ceiling and reinforced the brick facade that had started to sag due to an original construction issue. They worked under the guide of a structural engineer (that we had hired) to fix the problem. They closed everything back up and painted. They also applied new trim around the top of the house to cover and weatherize the gaps from the brick sagging. They painted, caulked and did some brick work as well. They also replaced some rotten wood on a couple of our windows. They painted it as well. They repaired a small area of water damage on the ceiling in our kitchen.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced 6 2X2's on back deck and caulked, removed and replaced 1X12 sewn cedar that cover the header on the back decks and caulked it. Removed and replaced windows sill on bottom of top windows, caulked, and painted.
